Pros:

Dries up the active acne right away!! Reduces the post acne red marks. Brightens the face!!

Cons:

Smells bad, my boyfriend hates it when I put it on at night!!!!! Hasn't completely reduced the red marks, and I still have some trouble acne spots. Tastes bad.

I was having really bad acne on my cheeks and was waiting for my proactiv to arrive in the mail. I read about ACV online and decided it was worth a shot. I started with a 50% dilution and used as a toner after washing my face at night and in the morning. Within just a few days I noticed all the acne dried up!!!! It was also reducing the red marks!!! I am trying to take ACV orally but I do forget occasionally, and it tastes pretty bad, too. Make sure to brush your teeth after taking it as it is really bad for the enamel!! From what I have read online ACV is great for tons of ailments, not just acne, so taking it orally is a good idea. I would recommend it, as it definitely helped me out in a troubled time.

Pros:

smoother glowing skin, even skin tone and cheap

Cons:

stings eyes which makes them water but makes them glow too!!

Im on my 4th month of Diane-35 which made me break out a hell of a lot and made my skin worse than ever and gave me horrible scars and the whole time I was constantly breaking out as in 5-10 new pimples daily. I didn't want to put anymore chemicals on my face so I thought I would give this a try. Now I haven't had a new pimple in a few days and wearing make up makes my skin look nice and smooth and for te first time radiant. Tried drinking but still in the process of mastering!! I actually went out for the first time last night after four months of dodging work and friends so I am so greatful I found this cheap and effective method thanks to you guys. For the Aussies in here try the Mountain Maid ACV which is great cos it's Aussie made too!!

it made my current acne go away faster.. but the next day i broke out anyway!.. yet i continue to use it.. but now i dilute it with water instead of using it straight out of the bottle. i guess it lightened the marks but it def. doesnt 'stop' acne like everyone says. however.. its a good product and everyone should give it adleast a one week trial

Magic Bullet
I haven't used this brand but I have been using Bragg's undiluted vinegar (with the mother in it) and, well, this is the first time I've ever left a comment online in a forum like this and I do so just to share that ACV has proven to be the magic bullet for me. I hope I don't jinx myself in writing this but I have suffered with bacne for twenty years! I have tried every single ointment, pill, potion, cream and tablet. I've been on hardcore medication from dermatologists that dried me out so badly my blood was thick and goopy. I've destroyed countless t-shirts and shirts by using all sorts of acids and I'd given up hope of my body ever regulating itself and sorting this crap out. I tried ACV on a whim and I finally have the skin of a normal person. My bacne has all but disappeared and after two months the red marks have faded away. I've read for some that it doesn't work but for me it's been a miracle cure. I had to share this in case someone else out there, like me, has given up hope and is on the fence about trying ACV. I used it undiluted, just splash it on, leave it to dry - it leaves no stains, doesn't smell - and it has as of right now cured me. I feel normal for once and I can't tell you what a relief it is. Try it. It worked for me. I still can't believe it.

Six months later and I'm back to say that I now have perfect skin. All marks are gone, I rarely if ever get a pimple and I can't believe the cure to my acne was something I could've been using decades ago, something that didn't need to be made in a lab. If you're on the fence, get off it. Use this, stick with it, and break free of acne's cruel grip. It really, truly works. P.S. I've tried organic cider vinegar without the mother in it and it works just as well. Good luck!

I am so happy for you! I know exactly how you felt. I've suffered from bacne for a long, long time and tried so many things and none of them worked. I'm now thinking of using ACV to treat it. How often did you apply it? I truly hope this is my miracle cure as well.

I got even skin tone after using ACV toner but still get new breakouts one after the other... :(
i am experiencing regular breakouts especially during my monthly period... I read that ACV can help treat acne... 3 days after using it, i noticed that it dried the acne and the marks... however, on one hand, new breakouts come out in other parts of the face even my period had gone out... though, on the other hand, i noticed that my skin tone got even and glowed... Is it a natural thing that i still get new pimples even continued use of ACV toner? I read acne's causes also has something to do with diet... I eat more of carbs (rice and bread), and daily vegetables and fruits and less fast/instant food, less sweets and almost no caffeine...

Sugar might be it,but most people want the external treatment when they really need to ACV internally for several weeks to see results. Also Rosehip oil excellent for the skin check it out on google! 2Tablspns ACV & 4oz. water add honey, but I just down it straight down my throat without tasting it; do this once a day. Good thoughts to you!

Pros:

cheap
easy to use
apparently quite effective

Cons:

stank
doesn't seem to work on non-inflamed acne, but we'll see

i've tried using acv for a month and it had no effect, but i wasn't sure if the brand was organic (the brand is korean). it had 'mother' in it, which is that slimy stuff that looks like snot - so i assumed it was unfiltered. anyways, i recently switched over to "Omega Nutrition" organic acv, unfiltered & unpasteurized. It's only been a day, but it seems to be drying out some of my white heads. i don't have many inflamed pimples, but tonnns of white/blackheads all over, which leave red marks every time they heal. it's been 5 months now and I CAN GET RID OF THEM. gonna try this organic acv and biweekly glycolic peels. hopefully this works out for me.

Pros:

Cheap and effective

Cons:

Smell, burns if you use too high of a proportion of ACV to water

I use a cotton ball to apply my 1/4 ACV 3/4 water mixture to my face at night. It has reduced but not eliminated my breakouts. I suspect that if I used it more consistently the results would be even better.

Pros:

Affordable, natural, safe, easy

Cons:

Smelly

I am 30 years old and have suffered from acne since my teens. I've been using expensive Oracea, but I quit a few weeks ago and broke out horribly. I have been using this for 4 days, morning and night I apply it and just leave it on. It's too soon to tell how it will work in the long-term, but it's looking good so far! Oh, and I'm just using what we had in the cupboard, which is not organic.. if I go to buy more, I will buy the organic. I will keep updating every week or two!

Pros:

- Fades scars (hyper pigmintation) & dries out pimples

Cons:

None but it MIGHT irritate some skin types

I basically dilute apple cider vinegar with water (no green tea) and apply to my face after cleansing. After using this once I already noticed how better my skin was looking.
