Pros:

Face is smoother and my tone is freaking AMAZING!
Cheap
Natural (I refuse to put anymore crap on my face)

Cons:

None

Wow. Just wow. I've had a recent breakout like no other. I had bad redness, bumps, cystic on face and under jawline. It's only day 3 using ACV as a toner (I drink 2 tbsp in my tea too) and my face has cleared up about 50%. It's not flawless but for day 3, I can't ask for more. I realize it's going to take time for my skin to heal with this nasty breakout/acne but I'm happy it's improving. My tone has evened out as well. I can't believe how well this works. It's Wednesday now and last weekend I was crying how bad my skin is. Now I'm happy as a clam and ready for the weekend! I pray this helps. I'm tired of lotions, potions and meds. PS. I tried it all, topical and antibiotics. My derm recommended Accutane if the antibiotics don't work. No way.

Pros:

Super cheap, works better than anything else out there.

Cons:

Vapor sometimes stings the eyes, make sure you dilute with water 50/50.

This stuff really works. I've been using proactiv for 10 years and not only is it expensive, my acne kept coming back. I've been using raw apple cider vinegar diluted with water as an astringent for about 10 months now. I noticed a difference within a few days. I've stopped using proactiv now and only use ACV on my face. When I see early signs of acne, I dab a few drops on a small piece of tissue paper and put it on my face twice a day. It's usually gone the next day. Works everytime. Proactiv never did that for me. Scars also lighten and vanish in a few months. Best part, it only costs $2.85 a bottle. I also drink one tablespoon a day with a glass of water. Doesn't taste good but it cured my constipation in a few days. ACV rocks.

Pros:

Works fast, doesn't dry, makes skin bright, removes post acne marks

Cons:

Smell? I can tolerate it though.

I have had acne for about six years! All throughout the years I've used so many products. (differin, clearasil, proactiv...etc) Yes, there have been times where my acne had gone down but it flares back and leaves scars! (Ewww, and dry skin) BUT... I have been using ACV for about three days and it's done what differin does in a month! I had a huge red blotched scar from picking my face and its pretty much gone. I had pimples that disappeared over night...and no dry skin. My face feels so smooth and that it's really becoming beautiful for once. This stuff rocks! I recommend trying it. You have nothing to lose.

Pros:

NATURAL, not harsh, cheap, rids of acne, clears up red marks, keeps skin balanced so not dry or oily.

Cons:

smell

ive been using differin for the last few months (along with previous acne treatments minus accutane) but still did not get rid of all my acne (esp under he jawline). ive been using organic apple cider vinegar as a toner for the last few weeks and it has really improved the condition of my skin. my skin is smoother, acne has really died down, and scars are fading. also, ive reduced by differin application to every other day. i am hoping to reduce it more and more in the future, hopefully i can eventually rid of my acne naturally. also, my skin appears more healthy and flushed, has a nice peaches and cream tone to it, which it never had before. at first, i just applied vinegar straight right after showering so it was diluted along with my wet face. recently, i made a toner with 40% vinegar 40% spring water and 20% toner, which helps rid of the smell. ALSO, ive been using baking soda as a face scrub every night, which seems help. i have very high hopes for my vinegar toner!

Pros:

- Clears up mild acne, helps prevent future acne, reduces acne scars, balances the pH level in your skin and works as a toner.
- INEXPENSIVE!

Cons:

- Smells but you get used to it

I am 24 and just have occasional breakouts. I use the Jewel Brand AVC.. people say use Braggs Organice but I don't know what the difference is, when I run out (in like 2 years haha, I will buy Bragg's just cuz I have heard good things) It has helped clear up any bumps and hasn't created any problems for my skin. I have sensitive skin so I dilute it 50% water/50% ACV. I put it on at night after I wash with Clean and Clear Sensitive Skin Foaming Cleanser. It has really made my skin look a lot better. It has given a glow back to my cheeks. I really suggest trying it... it won't hurt anything. It may sting/make your face red for the first few times you use it but that goes away. You need to stick to it for at least a month. I noticed results in the first week. I have tried many products and am most satisfied with this one. It helps with oilness and doesn't dry out your skin to much. If I get a little dry in areas I just use Boots Expert Sensitive Skin Moisture Lotion.

Pros:

IT WORKS!!!! makes face smooth, lightens red marks, clears up breakouts pretty fast.

Cons:

the smell. eww.

I read all the great reviews on here, and decided to give it a shot. I got the 5%. The first night I used it I couldn't stand the smell. I thought about not using it again, just because of the smell. It stings your face when you first use it, which can be a bit of a shock. ACV is fading my red marks! I was trying scar cream with no luck, and this works! and it works FAST. Seriously, give it a try. You won't be sorry.

Pros:

- (5%) Works instantly - itchiness/pain from zits immediately gone. size, visibility, frequency of zits reduced after a few days.
- Doesn't really cause any uncomfortable side effects aside from stinging any broken skin
- Cheap, easily availabl

Cons:

- Odor. Regular white vinegar has a less potent and shorter-lasting odor than apple cider, and works just as well. Can rinse off after 10-30 minutes and re-apply later.
- Stings if you have any cuts (from shaving for example). no biggie

Costs almost nothing to try. - Rinse face with warm/hot water to open pores - Apply thin layer of vinegar with cotton ball (can dilute, personally had no probs with full 5%). Maybe try diluting with warm water to maximize pore penetration - Leave on for at least 10 mins. Apply twice a day (morn and night) if you rinse it off. Can leave it on all night if you want. Bottom line: There's no magic here; the acidity kills acne-forming bacteria. You're pickling your face.

Pros:

Clears skin, evens tone

Cons:

Stings and burns, redness at first

In early February, I had a massive breakout that had me bawling for weeks. I read on Acne.org about applying Apple Cider Vinegar topically, and I was so desperate I immediately soaked a cotton ball and rubbed it all over my face. My face got WORSE. I was so depressed, but I kept going on with it, and within a few days the breakout cleared and left me with pimple-free skin. I still have light to moderate hyperpigmentation, but I'm hoping it'll clear up within time. And yes, it does sting, especially if you've popped a pimple. But it will clear up your skin, quick.

Pros:

dried my severe acne in just 3 days, kills bacteria, very cheap and effective and improves your complextion in days

Cons:

Drying of the skin, a bit of peeling and smells..may burn for a while after applying. Try using an oil free moisturiser after washing off as excesive drying may occur

using it in the night can be highly effective and would slightly dry your pimple and reduce inflammation. During the day, apply apple cider vinegar to affected area with a cotton pad and after 20 mins wash off and apply oil free moisturiser... here r some tips 1. if using make-up look for oil free,water-base,wont clog pores and something with at least SPF 15 or use mineral make-up. 2.Also take two teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with quarter cup of water and drink it once daily in the morning. 3.i would also suggest drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day 4.eat heaps of fruits and veggies such as apples(2-3), Banana(1), strawberries(4-5),carrots(1-2), and a glass of tomato juice a day. 6) Have at least 8 hours of sleep and avoid rubbing ur face against your pillow , sleep on ur back 7) exfoliate skin every two days with a light exfoliater 8)try to avoide eating food with vegetable oil (such as processed food) eat more salads! GOOD LUCK:)

Pros:

Works almost instantly, dries up acne fast, reduces redness in the face, affordable

Cons:

smells bad, leaves bad aftertaste, may not suit all skin types!

Lately, my skin complexion has not been as bad with acne as it was when i was back in high school. my skin has its good days and bad days with acne flare-ups. I also have very mild rosacea mostly on the cheeks, which at times seems to worsen and at other times seems to get better. I have been taking a vast number of meds/creams, including tetracycline. the meds reduce the amount of acne/roseacea but only for a few days until my body gets used to the effect i guess. I started using apple cider vinegar about a week ago, and all i have to say is that it is BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST RECOMMENDATIONS I HAVE TAKEN to improve my acne and rosacea!! at first i was hesitant to try it fearing that it might worsen my condition. I am now taking 6 tablespoons daily (mixed with water of course) and i started noticing improvements on the 2nd night of using ACV. It has worked miracles! i barely get any more acne pimples, and my rosacea has cleared up drastically! Thanks to everyone who recommended it!
