works i think
I have mixed feelings. I think it works. It makes my acne "sweat". After I put it on, my cystic acne starts oozing pus. It burns worse than anything I have tried so far though and hurts my eyes and the smell is overwhelming. I diluted it 50% water. I want to use it more but the experience is not that fun. Update: It's been about a week and my acne looking better than ever because of ACV. My cystic acne is getting smaller and smaller, almost gone..I have only 3-4 active pimples on my face now!! I had like 10-15 active ones before. Don't know if it will do anything for the scarring I have but I will try to update in another week or so. Someone on here said to give it two weeks. I surprised it's working so fast. Have been using 2x a day, morning and night.

Pros:

-clearing breakout
-glowing complexion
-plump and supple skin

Cons:

-can sting
-the smell of course

I have been pimple-free for about 4 months but suddenly, I'm not very sure why but it's probably hormonal changes, I started having a big breakout a week ago, with painful red cysts! It was depressing, especially after a heavenly period of clear skin..but then I came upon some ACV in my cabinet and thought, why not? I am so glad I tried this! I held a swab dipped with it and placed it against one really, deep cyst and after a minute, I can see a head!! Amazing. It has only been 2 days but the redness and swelling has reduced, and brown spots left from a few cysts last week just seemed to have fallen right off of my face! I'm excited for the results after a bit more time. Really..give it a try!!

Pros:

- Clears up acne FAST
- Easy to find

I dip a Q-tip in Bragg's ACV at night and just dab it on my problem spots (around my chin). By the next morning, those areas have already improved drastically! If I keep it up over the next couple of days, the results are amazing: the redness and acne just disappear. I've tried various products to combat the problem, and this is the easiest and most effective.

Pros:

Quick results, cheap

Cons:

awful smell

After trying everything from Pro Active, DDF, and even Dermabrasion, I was ready to give up. I heard about AVC and how it helps prevent acne, so I decided to give it a shot. I bought "Bragg" since it had the most success stories. This stuff does not mess around. After 2 days I noticed a huge difference in my acne disappearing along with the redness. I did not dilute the AVC and applied it once in the morning and once at night after washing my face. Thank you Bragg!!!

Pros:

best product on the market. it clears skin and stop new acne from comming up. for clear skin, apply trader joes organic apple cider vinegar two-three times a day as your skin can handle it.

Cons:

NOTHING! it seeps into the skin and KILLS the bacteria.

i suffered with moderate acne for some time and had tried everything. when i hit my freshman year in college i broke out like never before and i struggled with my severe acne. i am a very confident person but as nothing worked i slowly slipped into deep depression. i tried every treatment. i burned my skin countless times. i dieted to the point i was only eating apples and water twice a day. i even over moisturized my skin so much stopped making normal amounts of natural oil. I started taking 100mil of zinc and two months later discoved apple cider vinegar. Over night, i had results. im finishing my first month and i only have a few whiteheads under the skin that the vingar is slowly wearing down. im bassically just waiting for the scars to fade.

Made my skin look flawless...Until one day it stopped working!
Within days ACV totally cleared my skin up (after a 6 month long mild, but essentially constant, breakout), and it stayed beautifully clear for a few glorious weeks. In fact, I would go one further and say that my skin during this time actually looked and felt a lot better than it had before I'd even started getting problem skin - no spots, perfectly smooth etc. The downside is that I started messing with diluting it with rosewater and/or witch hazel (as I hated the smell of it neat) and it slowly stopped working for me. At this point I've taken a brief break from using it, hoping beyond hope that, I'll be able to reintroduce it into my skincare routine with somewhat similar results - as nothing before ACV gave me such fantastic results. Ugh.

Using apple cider
Hi guys. I've had really bad acne for a few years now. Tried prescriptions from doctors and various over the counter washes and pills with no luck. Being using acv for about 3 weeks now and the results are very good. I've noticed that my break out has lessened and even when I do breakout the pimple is gone in 2 days. My skin has improved greatly. Now I need something for the marks...

Day one of using ACV

Pros:

you can notice changes in your body
it doesn't taste as bad when mix with honey

I just started using ACV yesterday after doing a couple days of research online. I found that only a few people's acne turned worse after using ACV, most of them have good results, so I decided to give it a try. I have acne since I was 15 and now I am 25, and I have been trying different products and seeing doctors during the past ten years, and the acne was on and off. So here is my routine with ACV yesterday, I drink one TBSP ACV and one TBSP of raw honey with around 300ml of warm water twice a day before meals and I also mix 1ml of ACV with 5ml of water and apply it on my face before bed. I would suggest to mix it with more water at first since the ACV can be quite strong to apply on face, but once you get used to it, you can mix it 50:50. After one day of experiment on using ACV, I found my T zone, esp my nose area, is less oily, and my acnes which are on the cheek and jawline seem more calm. And one thing to note for all ladies, the blood during my menstrual cycle has always been dark brownish red, but after I took ACV twice yesterday, I noticed a change, it becomes more of a pure red, which should be healthier. I think it's the ACV thats working inside my body and I will continue to take it and hope for the best.

Pros:

Dries out acne quickly
Reduces appearance of acne
Good for body acne
Can be used as a toner
Overall effective

Cons:

Scent
Mild stinging
Can be drying on skin

I used Rice Vinegar and I've found it works much better than regular vinegar. I have not tried Apple Cider Vinegar, so I can not attest to its effectiveness. Before bed every night I put some vinegar on a round cotton pad and run it over the problem areas. The scent can be a bit overpowering, but I find that you get used to it quickly, and when you shower in the morning it doesn't matter. By morning, I find that the acne is significantly dried out, bringing some to a head and others partially disappearing. This is very good for body acne, as that is what I've used it for. I really have no complaints here, and I would recommend it to anybody.
