Pros:

It works great my skin has really cleared up :) I started using it after reading about it on these forums and it really has helped so much, I don't really break out anymore and if I do it's usually very minimal.

I've noticed a definite improve

Cons:

None really, you get used to the smell and stinging after awhile, that just means its working :)

It's great I recommend anyone to use it, I use Aspall Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and also Aspall Organic White Wine Vinegar they are both great. I have a small spray bottle I use with 50/50 mix of water and ACV I also drink 2 caps in the morning with water and 3 at night :) it really cleans out the crap inside you aswell, acne is an inside and outside problem ! Make sure not to drink the ACV without taking water it'l burn your throat really bad for up to 24 hours! Drink water with it or any other juice. A mistake I made was using a 100% solution of vinegar first in my bottle which really isn't a good idea, start with a 33% ACV 77% water solution or a 50% ACV 50% water solution if your skin can take it. Best of luck I hope as many people as possible read this, it will help you ! stick to it, the results will come I promise you! stick to it don't give up ! It took me 3weeks-2 months to notice a difference, everyone tells me how my skin glows now :) best its

Pros:

I am 50 years old, had acne for 35 years, tried everything. Using ACV for an astringent has totally cleared my face. Noticed results the very first day. Been using it for 3 weeks now and have had only 3 tiny new pimples.

Cons:

Fumes from the ACV burn my eyes.

Use ACV before spending the hundreds-thousands on other acne treatments.

Using for 2 weeks no results yet
I'm using Braggs organic ACV with the mother in it 2x a day. I bought a plastic bottle and mixed 1/2 ACV and 1/2 bottled water shake it and put it on my skin!!! I also drink a full glass of water with ACV in it at night before bed!!! So this is my routine wash face let it dry put the Diluted ACV on a cotton ball and cleanse my skin like a toner let it dry and follow by moisturizer after. I been using Cerave PM moisturizing lotion!! I have pimples on my jawline/chin and neck!!! The pimples on my jawline are so stubborn they won't shrink or disappear no matter what I do ... Since my skin hasn't got worse yet I will continue to use Braggs for 3 months ... If anything gets better or worse I will report back ... So fingers crossed

How your skin now?
February 19, 2013

Pros:

Clears up acne
Reduces redness of skin
Skin has more of a "glow"

Cons:

Smell
Can burn your eyes
Can dry out skin

I felt like nothing would clear my acne. I have tried many OTC products and prescription medications. I found an article about apple cider vinager. I decided to try it. It has been the most inexpensive and most effective treatment for my ance. I put it on my face full strength after washing and then use oxypads. The routine is drying, but my face is clear!! The main draw back is the smell. I think there is nothing to lose but everything to gain. Just try it.

Pros:

Clear skin
Exfoliating
Cheap

Cons:

Smell

I had a goal to get clear skin by the time I turned 30 and with my 30th birthday only 3 weeks away Bragg's ACV has helped me reach that goal. 3 weeks ago I started using undiluted ACV as a toner in the am and pm after washing with Noxzema, I'm used to glycolic peels so it didn't really sting me. After toning with the ACV I use Cerave Moisturizing cream (the one in the tub, not the bottle with the pump). I tried to take it internally as well, but after doing that for a day and a half I just couldn't stomach it anymore. I noticed a difference overnight and within a week my skin was 90% clear. I couldn't use ACV on my body though as it was too harsh so I started searching for other internal supplements. 1 week ago I added Michael's Naturopathic Skin Factors vitamins to my routine, within 3 days my entire face was 100% clear and now a week later my body is completely clear. Not only do I not have any new blemishes, but all of my old ones have healed, my skin tone is even and looks moisturized, my skin looks and feels smooth and all of my blackheads are gone (even a big pitted one that I had had on the side of my nose for over a year!) I love that I can get both products for dirt cheap at my local health food store. Both Bragg's ACV and Skin Factors will always be a part of my regular routine from here on out.

Pros:

So cheap
Natural!
Evens skin tone
Gently exfoliates
Fades scars and red marks
Helps dry out and heal blemishes
Easy to use
Lasts forever

Cons:

The smell could bother some people, but it doesn't last very long

This is one of the best products in my regimen. I've been using it for a good 3 or so years. I mix a solution of 1/2 AVC and 1/2 water in a little bottle and keep it on my bathroom counter. I do NOT use Bragg's AVC. The one time I decided to switch to that brand after reading the rave reviews, I broke out like nobody's business. I had tried to continue using it thinking it was purging or whatever, but it certainly was not. The brand I use and have continued to use is Spectrum Organic Unfiltered ( w/ the Mother ) AVC. Easily found at any health store, and very cheap for a big glass jug of it. After washing my face I'll just grab a cotton swap or fold over 2 toilet paper squares, squirt my AVC on it and tone my face. It makes you feel that little extra freshness after washing your face. Your skin may turn a bit red after application, but normally goes away in a couple of minutes. New users need to use a more diluted solution and work up to 1/2 and 1/2 because it may burn at first when using a more concentrated mixture. All 'n all this product along with my Cetaphil Cleanser and Aloe Vera moisturizer has kept me clear for over 2 years. Definitely recommended to anyone with blemish problems!

Pros:

Clears acne

Cons:

Smells terrible

IMPORTANT! Use a dilution first. Start with 9 parts water: 1 part apple cider vinegar eventually working your way up to a stronger concentration over time. Your skin is most likely going to be too sensitive to handle ACV without being diluted.

Pros:

-Clears up current acne
-Fades red marks
-Makes skin less oily

Cons:

Smells a little bad but if you moisturize after you don't notice. And who really cares if it clears up your skin!

At first it made my skin a little worse, but I kept using it and after a few days my face really started to clear up. Even the red marks on my chin have started to fade. Out of everything I've tried this has worked the best...and it's cheap! I definitely recommend trying this, just make sure to dilute it.

Pros:

-Clears face completly-No acne breakouts
-Helps get rid of marks and redness
-Balances pH of the skin

Cons:

-Some people might be sensative to it(Redness in the face)

This is an excellent very old method to help acne go away. It doesnt only help all the pimples and blackheads from going away, but "stops" acne. There is no cure for acne, but In my opinion if you use apple cider vinegar correctly your face will start looking great and i mean great. On very few cases drys the face. Its an organic compound, no chemicals or anything such as proactiv and all of those products that never work. Use it for a couple of months and your face will look like you had never had acne!!!!!!

there are better ways to get clear skin
I've tried this out about two years ago when my mum told me about it, at first I was apprehensive about trying it out because of the smell but back then I was so desperate to have clear skin that I'd try anything. Plus I was in that obsessed-with-organic-methods-to-get-clear-skin phase of my acne obsession, so this was bound to happen. The treatment stung a lot! I don't know whether that was due to not being diluted enough, but it burned and made my face red and warm. I stuck with it though because I was under the impression that if it stings it must be doing something.. bad idea, as that something was basically hurting my skin and making it super acidic and dry (and smelly) Maybe I didn't stick with the treatment for long enough (i did it for a few weeks or maybe months, can't remember) but I can't recall any MAJOR improvement in my mild teen acne. For me it was too strong and it had the same effect on my skin as an alcohol toner in that it created a film on my skin and tightened it and then later I got really really shiny. So for me, the vinegar treatment just wasn't worth it as the bad effects it had on my skin outweighed any effectiveness it may have had in treating my acne.

try this: mix tablspn honey with reg.sugar in a bowl, wash your face with when ever soap you use (try african black soap at [link removed]). You dont have to dry it, apply honey blend is a good scrub use cotton pad or your clean finger and massage your whole face you feel the sugar don't massage to hard just get it cleaned. Then rinse in cold dry your face, then try ACV diluted ratio 1:1, then apply rosehip oil straight from the bottle of mix with carrier oil: coconut, sweet almond etc. apply to face as the mositurizer. Do this for 2 weeks straight hope you have great results. FYI The smell of ACV goes away! Use the right stuff on your face, if the ACV is dryng then you have to put moisture on your face to combat this! Try this!
