Pros:

It's free
Clears acne
Reduces redness
Bumps smooth out
Scars fade

Cons:

Can burn a little at first
Made my acne worse after awhile

I've struggled with acned for five years now. I was desperate to get rid of my acne, and I came across Urine Therapy to reeduce redness and pimple swelling. So about four months ago I started using this treatment once in the morning because it's best to use your first morning pee. At first this started doing wonders, my skin was no longer red and my scars had reduced tremendously. Around the third month of doing this, I started to break out horribly, even worse than it originally had been. I know everyones skin is different, so this might have been my skins way of telling me it was being irritated or just no longer doing anything. My skin looked absolutely horrible so I went to the Dermatologist and am now on oral medication and two different topical gels. It's been a month since I started this routine and my skin is almost completely clear. It might not have been the urine, who knows. But it could work for you! :)

Pros:

quite funny when you realise youre applying pee to your face
sort of worked
free

Cons:

not an idea to share with your friends

so after reading about 500 reviews i thought i might as well give it a go. at first i couldnt physically bring myself to apply my pee to my face, but when i eventually did i kept it on for 20 mins and washed off. i did this twice a day for a week and saw a tinny improvement. i stopped using it when my mum found out cause i think she thinks theres something wrong with me know haha. you have nothing to loose, its free + could work!

Pros:

made skin look less red
free

Cons:

gross
didn't help with acne
smelled
gave me pimples in new places

So the good things about putting pee on your face is it makes your skin look less red, which all acne sufferers want! It also free, and readily avaible, you never run out! But...it doesn't help acne. I used for around two weeks and the zits I started out with were still there, and new ones had formed in places I never got acne. I drink A TON of water and eat super healthy, so you could say I have ideal pee, but it still smelled and didn't help like everyone here says. I felt desparate having stooped to putting pee on my face, and cried at the thought of getting to this point. I recomend talking to your dermotologist and getting on a good medicated regimen, It helped clear me up!

Pros:

natural and free

Cons:

not as amazing as one would expect after the reviews here

im one of those who have tried everything. im 32 and im really tired of my skin troubles. oily skin, cystic acne, zits, scars... i drink a lot of water, do not eat oily and fried food, eat only white meat and healthy stuff... i ve taken roacutan for 4 times...it always helped during the cure (which took like 4 monthts) however acne always returned after. i even had my tonsilles removed only for this reason. i started wth the UT about a week ago and... im still waiting for results. No miracle or breathtaking effect so far but i ve learned to be patient. mabe... my skin looks a bit brighter now but u know... i tend to see what i wanna see sometimes. absolutely no acne improvement. I drink morning urine and i apply fresh urine on my face every evening, I guess will go on one or two more weeks like this so i ll report if there is any change... so... no recommendations yet im afraid

Pros:

Face becomes smooth, heals a few small bumps fast, redness slightly reduced.

Cons:

Little bumps formed on my entire forehead, didn't stop formation of new pimples, did nothing for existing pimples, its pee.

I tried this hoping for a miracle like others but it didn't help me enough to continue beyond a week. It might help you hopefully but in my case its back to the drawing board.

Pros:

it's...free?

Cons:

Made my acne way worse. I never got there on my chin or cheeks. Just on my forehead, nose, and sides of my mouth. Made me break out around my mouth a lot!! My mom didn't know I was doing it and she told me today, "Wow, you've broken out really bad."

Didn't work for me...you may be different...I had high hopes for this...I won't be continuing!

Pros:

temporary glow...and it's practically free

Cons:

omg! it's not worth it considering how i got a massive break out within a few days!! the cystic pimples hurt so much!!

I was on vitamin E regimen until i decided to use UT to help clear some minor pimples. I thought i was going well; despite the smell, it gives off a nice glow. So on my 5th day of my UT application, i noticed several new pimples along my jawline and chin. On top of that, these new pimples were painful and not easily tamed by any other tropical medications that i have!! Now i'm back to my old vitamin E treatment. Moral of the story, don't use something that may sound too good to be true! If anything, i would say that the vitamin E oil works better to prevent new pimples and also removing the acne scars. I really want to kick myself in the behind for being so desperate to use my own urine!!! On top of that Spring Break is around the corner and i need to get this side affect under control!!! Please reconsider if you really want to commit to such a thing! =/

Pros:

None

Cons:

Doesn't work, it just gave me an increase in small white heads

I have to question how legitimate some of these reviews are, alot seem very similar. Having tried this for about 5 days i can safely say its not worked for me, if anything it made me break out more, it didnt reduce current spots, it didnt speed up healing(if anything they took longer to heal). I have mild acne. Try it but dont be fooled by the "amazing results" of some of the reviews.

Pros:

Easy to access, easy to apply if you use a cotton ball.

Cons:

Smells, stings

Doesn't really work... it might make the redness go down, but in a little while, it comes right back up.
December 17, 2008

Pros:

Well, at the start I decided to try it. I put the urine on the cotton, and then started applying to the face. The next day the redness had gone down a little.

Cons:

BUT! Little did I know this was temporary. I continued it, but then I started having extreme breakouts like never before. And the smell was not so appealing.

It worked for the redness, but then a huge breakout! Now I have terrible skin after using this product, with pimples around the sides of my face and some on front.. I'm very unhappy!!! And it's the kind of pimples makeup won't cover, btw! NOT RECOMMENDED!
