Pros:

great for my face , i have been using for over a year and i love no side effects. Keeps any break out from getting out of control.

Cons:

The size !!!!!. If i don't get down on the first try it starts to dissolve and taste nasty.

Great for acne , as long as you don't suffer from any of the side effects

Pros:

My skin was darn close to completely clear within two days

Cons:

I had a horrible allergic reaction to this medication in the beginning everything was perfect, but about after a week and a half i had a sore throat, extreme itching all over my body you name it i itched from head to toe, swollen rashes on my faceetc

This medication was great in the beginning until i had an horrific allergic reaction about a week and a half of useing it. Which is strange because i have never had an allergic reaction to anything. So i would be very careful about that.

Pros:

fab stuff! no spots at all. I had mild acne but was plagued by whiteheads. They have gone completely!!! skin looks fab. Took about two weeks to clear up. I have now been using for about 6 weeks and have cut back to one tablet a day.

none

Cheap and affordable. I got mine from [link removed]. Brilliant stuff! I had tried everything and this really works! so happy with results

Pros:

iv had acne since i was 13 i am now 15 and its even worse iv been on bachtrim for about a month and its clearing up my slight acne prob. on my face but barley working on my severe back acne which is why i started it...it just takes a little more time

Cons:

the pills are HUGE...and you have to drink lots and lots of water

it works well for face ...but may take a little more than a month to clear up back/ shoulder acne.

Huge Pill!!

I have HUGE cysts on my face from a severe bacteria infection and within a few weeks, I think I have been using it for two now...I DO NOT have new breakouts and my skin is actually healing. Take this advice from me because I have tried EVERYTHING..proactiv, clinique, origins, murad, neutrogena, and everything in between...this stuff works great! Ask your dematologist for some! A+ product.

Bactrim DS 160mg/800mg Tablets 60 (6 x 10) (Authority Script) 46 cents per tablet This is the only thing that really works. I get deep cyst type pimples on my cheeks, but within a week of starting this, they disappeared. I have been on it for over a year now. I know it is still working because if I forget to take it for a few days, I will ALWAYS break out! The best thing is I can now be so carefree with my skin and I still wont get cysts. For example: I don't use any acne creams, I wash my face with soap, I can sleep in my makeup, and I can forget to wash my face. My life has changed :-) A dermatologist got me onto this. And now my normal GP dispenses this to me as my dermatologist was nice enough to send a letter to my GP saying please dispense this, so I don't have to pay to go to the Dermatologists and pay his fees every time I need my script refilled. Pros:

Works very well but effects are beginning to dwindle after a year

can taste bad if you dont swallow fast. Becomes less active after a while of usage.

Pros:

So far so good. Not drastic results but it's only day 2 and I've noticed my acne is drying up and swelling down.

Cons:

Nothing

I'm not sure what I have. I have moderate skin; however, Dr. tested my skin and my cultures came up positive for an infection. It looks just like acne and it's all under my chin/neck area. It even started spreading on my face! As soon as I started taking Bactrim, it's slowly healing. I really hope this works. And I hope I'm not allergic to this!

Pros:

clears some spots, minimizes red ness as they are anti-inflammitory.

Cons:

didnt work aswell as i thought, first week of using it i broke out with two massive spots on my chin. However i think it might have somethng to do with the fact i developed a tolerance for doxycyline as i used it for 9 months.

if you are going to use trimethoprim make sure that you wernt on your last drug for more than 3-5 months, jst so that your body doesnt creare too much of a tolerance and give the trimethoprim a fighting chance.

Pros:

Tried it after using all available medicines for Acne for 5 years.
but this medicine did wonder and i am free of it.

Cons:

I don't have any side effects after using it for 1 month.
My Blood report was normal as it was b4 taking this medication.
but if u r allergic to Sulfa drugs,don't take a chance.
