Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

If BP helped got rid of red marks then this would be the ultimate treatment. it doesn't however, and people say that it makes red marks linger for longer as it releases free radicals on the skin. Red marks are very irritating too but not as bad as acne so This is a pretty good product. I use to use alot of it day and night now just at night time. It does discolour pillow cases and things btw and the most annoying part is your skin looks sort of worn out and aged from it as well as the really bad flakiness it causes. I can't even get rid of the flakiness with a moisturiser. Overall I give 2.5 % bp a 3.5 out of 5.

If you are suffering from acne, you owe it to yourself to really give the regimen an honest try. I had written off bp as something that didn't work for my acne until I came across this website during a serious bout of acne. I have faithfully followed the regimen for the past 3 months and it has drastically reduced the severity of my acne. This product is of high quality and for a very reasonable cost when you consider how long it lasts. I'm still on my first bottle! But, as with any bp product, it will dry your skin. I have sensitive combo skin that is oily in the T-zone. Even though I am in my 4th month of the regimen, I am still not to a full pump of bp! I have had to go very slow in increasing the bp or else my skin gets extremely dry and irritated. Make sure to use a very good moisturizer!

I've always had spots appear around my mouth and nose, and even though I didn't have really bad acne because of being a pasty skinned Scottish girl they would show for ages while they healed as wee purple marks, and sometimes they'd be sore swollen lumps and as I'm sure everyone who suffers with this does I hated them. I tried Clearasil, Oxy, Neutragena and other regimens but nothing made any difference, then I found this on the web and it's amazing. At the start I was using it twice a day and it made my skin red even after 3 months so I cut down to once a day (at night) and that seems to be enough for me. I use Eucerin moisturiser which works great with it, I haven't tried Dan's one, I don't think he had one when I first bought this, I've been using it for about 3 years. :) My fiance had a strange red pimply spreading rash on his cheek that spread to his forehead over 6 months, he used this and it was gone in a month, he stopped using it after that and it hasn't come back.

I highly recommend this. It is not too weak and not too strong, so you can use it consistently. My friends keep saying how great my skin looks now. Get it and use it everyday.

This product started working to clear up my skin immediately when I started using it. I saw results in days. The only downside was that my skin got very dry as I moved up to the two full pumps twice a day that the regimen suggests. I started using the AHA+ from this site nightly and I reduced the amount of this product to one pump twice a day, and it got rid of the dryness. This product and the AHA+ pretty much saved my face. This is the best BP I've used. It does make me red like any other BP, but I used the acne.org moisturizer to take care of that (it much have a nice calming agent in it to take redness out even when my face isn't dry or irritable to begin with). I really think the fact that this is pharmeceutical grade and finely milled makes all the difference, it gets deeper down into the pores. Since starting this product, I have not had one breakout, and it's already been about 5 days. Yes, I'm expecting one eventually, it's normal since I'm just starting the regimen, but just surprised I haven't had one already, this stuff is really working!

Well im very glad I gave this a try. I have been using the stuff for about a mounth and out of the regime the bp gel is the best. When I started I did not follow the regime perfectly, I tried to use too much bp to fast. If you do this no matter how resilant you think your skin is, you will regret it and become red and dry out. So I was forced to drop the bp amount to a much small amount. Only now am I on the full amount of bp and I am starting to clear up. It is certainly worth a try, and hopfully my redness will continue to subside. Also I have hade troubles finding a mosturizers Dans makes my face red. I tried aloe gel but does not work that well. GOOD LUCK

try it! try it! try it! especially if you have oily skin. it seems to control oil too the longer i use it. i would absolutely recommend this (and the regimen) to anyone. if/when my kids happen to get acne i would not hesitate to get this for them.

I just started using it recently and already my annoying pimples are stop dead in their tracks. They'e going away AND my skin isn't like sandpaper. I bought the whole system because I perfer products to be made by the SAME company.
