Pros:

IT WORKS!
it works!
it works!

Cons:

Very drying in the beginning.

This stuff actually works. I have been struggling with acne for 10 years. I have done pretty much all the oral antibiotics and topical creams/gels and accutane. All of those only temporarily worked, but after I stopped using them my acne came back. I tried Dan's acne regimen in January 2011 and now my face is ALL clear except for one whitehead because I've been stressed out. My skin has never been this clear and soft before (except for when I was on Accutane, but I didn't like that because of the side effects it came with). Honestly, if you have been struggling with acne, please order this! You have to go through a stage where your skin will be peeling off, but in the end it will all be worth it :) I get so many compliments about my skin now and I hope that you all decide to try his regimen out!

Pros:

-Works!!
-Absorbs easily

Cons:

-Can dry skin out at first, or with over application. Get to know your skin. You'll know when you need more or less of BP.
-Bleaches your pillows, towels clothes. (i just use white linens =)

I have been using this product for 5 years now I can't believe I'm only reviewing it now. It has cured my acne. I did not have cystic acne but I had a fair amount of breakouts, I'd say moderate. It was bad enough that it hurt my self esteem. I am not on the Regimen I just use the treatment. I like to experiment with different moisturizers and creams but I stay loyal to my treatment every night. My skin has been perfect except for the occasional hormonal breakout. I cannot thank Dan enough for what his product has done for my skin. I'm going to try the AHA next. I'm still in my early twenties but I'd like to keep wrinkles at bay. What I learned from this program is to take care of my face. DO NOT TOUCH IT, BE GENTLE. I know my skin now, I know if i need more or less BP, or what moisturizers it likes, to the temperature of the water it needs. Thanks Dan for making me love my skin!

Pros:

-gel
-clears bumps
-best bp ive tried

Cons:

none so far

I needed something to use while I'm waiting to begin accutane in 2 weeks. This stuff is amazing! I've tried department store bp products and they just made my skin itchy and irritated. This bp however, does not burn or make my skin itchy, it actually has a nice cooling effect. Thanks to this bp, I can actually tolerate a product with bp for once. Plus, it doesn't have all those added unnecessary ingredients. This formula is awesome!

Pros:

You don't need much, it doesn't dry out my combination/sensitive skin, it feels fine under my moisturizer and makeup, no filmy, sticky or tight feeling. After 3 months (I had to force myself to stick with a regimen for once), I'm not kidding, my face is CLEAR. I don't like the moisturizer, I went back to my Clinique "Dramatically Different Moisturizer" but I love the face wash. Great price and an option for no auto-ship that all the other terrible programs out there rope you into!!

Cons:

I would say it took a bit of time to work (like a month) but I'm glad I stuck it out because IT WORKS!!! Now I wish he'd come out with a body spray because my face is now clear and my back is breaking out (I know, gross, but it happens to the best of us).

I have tried everything out there...and I mean, every regimen, new product, etc. I'm really impatient when it comes to products being effective and am usually terrible at using them regularly and for long periods of time, especially if they don't seem to be making any sort of a difference after a couple weeks. I bought the 3 product regimen package and was so miserable with my face at the time (and I had just gotten through LA Fashion Week as a model...having terrible acne in that setting is embarrassing to say the least) that I followed the directions exactly as instructed and kept doing so until it actually became routine. First I noticed that the moisturizer didn't do it for me, even with a couple drop of the Jojoba oil. It didn't feel right on my face and didn't moisturize enough and my skin is combo so it isn't extremely dry or anything, just a bit tight after I wash it. I use the face wash, rubbing it lightly on my face for about 10 sec. and then I actually leave it on for a minute and gently rinse it off. Let my skin dry completely and apply a light (you don't need much so the bottle lasts forever) layer of the treatment under my Clinique moisturizer and sunscreen. I can swear that I haven't had one of those terrible lumps for almost 2 months and I've been using it for 3. Blackheads have also cleared. I still get nervous, especially around 'that time of the month', that something will pop up but I think I can safely say my once pretty terrible acne is almost COMPLETELY GONE!!! It's worth a try. Also if you have acne scarring try Clinique's "Even Better Dark Spot Corrector"...it does wonders on those red spots that won't disappear. I have fair combo/sensitive skin (oily T but got big bumps all over), I now have no acne, less blackheads, less scarring and no flakiness, redness, irritation or dryness. Yay!

Pros:

-Clears face
-Last a long time
-Actually works

Cons:

-Pricey

I had suffered acne for a long time and was always so embarrassed. I found this stuff though and have been clear since. I bought the 8oz kit in August and have only had to replace my cleanser once, And just today bought another kit. So it may seem pricey, but it lasts you so long and IT WORKS! I recommend it to everyone. And it has worked for everyone that I have suggested it to.

Pros:

Clears acne

Cons:

Bleaches fabric
Dries out and reddens skin

This stuff is pretty amazing. Using it as part of the regimen cleared up my acne. It does irritate the skin, but that gradually goes away somewhat. It still makes my skin a little red even after using it for a few months, but I prefer that over acne. It bleached and ruined a couple of my shirts, but I stopped applying it so low on my neck and don't have that problem any more. I don't need to use as much as recommended in the regimen. Once my acne cleared up I scaled it back some and my face is still clear. That way I don't have to wait so long for it to dry and it irritates my face less. Make sure you do the regimen twice a day and don't skip, though! Every time I skipped even once I'd end up getting a few zits over the ensuing days.

Pros:

Great price
Highly effective in clearing acne fast!
Odorless
Absorbs well
Lightweight

Cons:

Over drying if you do not follow the regimen and start SLOWLY, applying a small amount & working your way up to the recommended dosage.

Does bleach all colored material the product comes in contact with. I switched to white towels and apply it after dressing.

Pros far outweigh the cons! Why? Because IT WORKS!! A few weeks into the regimen and my skin is clear. Amazing. I do recommend following Dan's plan closely and begin slowly. I can go out without ANY makeup now after using this product with Dan's moisturizer and cleanser after just 3 weeks. (I also began using AHA, which is highly effective for very dry skin, although it does sting slightly until it dries) My skin was red for the first few days & then it adjusted perfectly. Worth the $, time and effort. Dan did an excellent job developing this product.

Pros:

Works extremely well
Easy to apply
Part of The Regimen- has precise instructions for effectiveness

Cons:

Takes SO long to complete the Regimen (25 minutes after a shower or 15 minutes if I'm just washing my face over the sink)
Shipping is costly, $14 if I buy two or if I buy the 32 oz bottle

Everyone should definitely give this product a try. It really works and I love it. The Regimen has completely cleared my skin in about a 5 weeks! Nothing else has produced these results, especially since I suffer from great stress and lack of sleep. While I complain that the Regimen takes long, it is so completely worth it. The price is still not great; mostly the shipping is not very reasonable. I do not want to opt for the $5 Autoship option because I have found a great cleanser & moisturizer to substitute into the Regimen. Also, the reviews on Acne.org's new moisturizer are not favorable. I use Neutrogena's Oil-Free Foaming Cleanser for Acne prone skin & DML Moisturing Lotion. They work great.
