Pros:

Goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly, fast results

Cons:

Can bleach clothing and takes some adjustment for skin

This is one of the few routines I've been able to stick with and it has worked really well. My back is still clearing up, but overall I have seen great improvements. I also have not had any breakouts since I started using this. Great product, good price.

Pros:

Gel form
Excellent price per ounce
Odorless

Cons:

Can be drying (We all know that. Moisturizer is our friend!)

I was paying $12/ounce of Proactiv's gel benzoyl peroxide every month and a half or so, so I decided to give this solution a try. It works just as well as Proactiv's third step, but I'm now paying something like $2/ounce. Thanks, Dan!

Pros:

no colour, not pastey, great value for money, dries easily,

Cons:

none

i've used oxy 5%bp before and it did work for a while but never really stopped my acne completely, but then i wasnt on a strict regimen back then, still now i am not on a complete regimen but i do wash my face with cetaphill and apply Dan's BP and then moisturize, my acne has cleared 99% and now i only break out like once a month, i just broke out yesterday, i got 3 small spots but i am very happy with this BP, by far the best i've used to date. when i first got it i applied it day & night, but after my acne started clearing i only use it at night, seems to be working. Thanks Dan for the BP and everyone with an acne prone skin should give this a try atleast once.

Pros:

Results within hours
Huge size

Cons:

None!

The only thing I can say about this product that would be negative was that it dried my skin out the first couple days of using it. But that was because I was so stoked to have it, I slathered it on in generous amounts. User error. It's cleared up my skin noticeably over the past few days. And I haven't noticed any fabric bleaching on my clothes or sheets which is the result with most BP's. It's a way better deal than Proactiv and I feel better buying from Acne.org anyway. My skin profile: 25 year old female. Hormonal cystic jawline and chin acne. Embarrassing!

Pros:

works really well to get rid of acne

Cons:

dries suuuuuuuuuuper slowww

this review is from the pump bottle version 8oz that i purchased. It lasted me about 8months wow. i just finished the bottle and i ordered another 8oz in the squeeze bottle. this product works great. i had a major breakout episode last winter after christmas on my cheeks it was pimples that would leave marks after and took forever to heal and this cleared it up with daily use. i apply this to my face after cleansing with clean and clear advantage cleanser with benzoyl peroxide. then i leave it on overnight while i sleep. i make sure to moisturize the areas that i didnt apply the gel in. this product is amazing it works so well i dont know what i would do without it. it will forever be my best friend.

Pros:

Goes on clear. Easy to apply moisturizer over. Easy to apply in general. Definitely helps clear blemishes if Dan's advice is followed. Dry skin, which is great if you have oily skin like me.. :) (But, the dry skin wasnt too bad.)

Cons:

Possible allergy to the Urea for people with sensitive skin..unfortunately.

Well, Boo! Hate to give this product up already because it definitely helps so many people and I definitely recommend it, but unfortunately, my skin reacted bad to the Urea in the product. I had the same problem with Prosacea when I tried it. It had Urea in higher concentrations and gave me one of the worst allergic reactions I have ever had. Hives all over my face! If they just didnt have that damn Urea I would have been fine with that as well. But since, it is in lower concentrations in this BP I didnt get too bad..Which is good. So, overall, I believe that people that don't have any sensitivities to Urea should give this a go. I used it for about a week and noticed I was having that same reaction that I was with prosacea. So I had to give it up. Sucks too, cause I love that it is a gel and definitely helped out my skin already in a week of usage. Just trying to help out anyone that might have some common reactions to formaldehyde releasers. If you do, go with Neutrogena's product.

Pros:

Cheap, affordable, feels good on the skin, big hype on the product

Cons:

Didn't work for my type of acne, my pores were getting more full of sebum (white stuff), Proactiv did the same thing to my pores

Younger I tried accutane and its the best of all the acne treatment. I used Proactiv for over 3 years with good to average result so I made a change so I tried this treatment, no big breakouts it work good, but my acne is mainly only whitestuff inside my pores that make my skin rough and bumpy, no red bumps and minimal black heads. I think that benzoil peroxide no longer works for me, but I see the hype on this product. Now I'm on Clearpores starting for 3 months, salicic acid is maybe gonna work better, I'm also on minocin wich is mainly made to maintain somewhat of a good skin doesn't imrove or worsen skin

Pros:

Large bottle is cost-effective, product feels soothing going on (not something I expected from a BP product) and goes on clear, works wonderfully.

Cons:

Takes a few minutes to absorb fully.

I really like this product, and I'll definitely continue using it. I even recommend it to my friends and family.

Pros:

Clears up acne when used properly; good value; does not irritate the skin; no animal products or animal testing

Cons:

None

The BP treatment, when used as Dan recommends, works very well to fight and prevent acne. I've used 10% BP before, and find that this works just as well. It's a high-quality product, and a good value.
