Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

UPDATE: My skin is clear! I have a few extremely tiny bumps around my hair line but besides that everything is good. Im still using the same products except the sunscreen. I don't follow the exact acne.org regimen, I do about 2-3 thin layers of BP or ill keep reapplying as needed, not a finger length, and I use one small pump of the cleanser. I occasionally use a toner, and Ive been drinking Red bush tea every night. May 31, 2016 Skin type: Combo / Acne Prone Type of acne: Mild/Moderate I decided to use this as an alternative to the expensive facial treatments I was getting, and after about a month on this product my skin is almost 100% clear. I only bought the cleanser and BP because their moisturizer contains alcohol and oil which I know does not work on MY skin. The added alcohol in moisturizers from MY experience burns my skin while leaving my face dry, it also creates dark spots around the corners of my mouth. The key is finding things that work for YOU! I'm currently using Neutrogena oil free moisturizer which is free of alcohol and more, I also use the Neutrogena oil free sunscreen. So far this combination in addition to being dairy free has been working wonders. I also switched my foundation to CoverFX which is for sensitive, acne prone skin and that has been amazing also, I highly recommend this product.

Two years ago, i started to get quite a bit of regular teenage hormonal acne. I started using the regimen and the benzoyl peroxide treatment severely dried out my skin. However, once i passed the several week long stage of dry skin, after two months, i never got a pimple again. I am now 16 and get a few inevitable pimples, but do not follow the regimen instructions to the dot anymore. I sometimes sleep with makeup on and am not very gentle with my skin. I also only use the benzoyl peroxide treatment at night. However, my skin has gone from clogged pores and acne filled to minimal pores and no acne. This is a miracle product and is the only thing that has ever worked for me. LOVE IT

Nice product and it is really a nice experience to take Acne products. I am really loving this company from the day when I first used it's products. I had suffered from Acne problem and i had tried a lot of things before this product, which helped me a lot and it works nice on me.I am feeling better by using this product.I got my first Acne.org products. It really works extremely well for me. Thanks for such a nice product.

I've been using this along with the other two products in the regimen for about two years. I had tried Proactiv, and while that worked to fight big zits for me, I ended up having a ton of closed comedones- my face had the texture of the back of a Crunch bar. The cleanser and moisturizer are good, but this product is where the magic happens. My skin is now a thousand times better than what it used to be however I still wouldn't consider myself 100% clear. Maybe a solid 85%. I still get acne, albeit not in the form of large zits anymore, and I still have many scars from fighting acne for so long. If you have oily skin, this product is guaranteed to make you even more oily. It doesn't bother me too much nowadays, as I'd much rather prefer to look oily but clear rather than have any acne. Plus, all it takes to fight the shine is to dab my face with toilet paper once or twice a day to get any excess oil off of my face. Also, for me, getting results was a much slower process than the 3-4 months the regimen promises, even when I almost never missed application. However, out of the many over-the-counter treatments I've tried, the regimen is the only thing that has truly worked for me. Other factors such as my age (19, puberty almost over?), the fact that my diet has changed a lot over the past two years (much less junk food, no soda), I started getting active, have been drinking much more water, i NEVER touch my face, and also I change my pillowcase daily probably all also contribute to me clearing up substantially.

It's great! Not too over drying when you use it consistently just don't put it in your eye area , it will irritate your eyes if you do. Otherwise it works !!!

The product works. I have had mild acne, with some cysts and I also have quite dry skin (not oily at all) and my brother had moderate acne with dry skin - we both use this, and it has eliminated my acne completely. Except the occasional spot, but no more than what is normal for most people. My brother's acne is clearing effectively as well. We both tried a different brand of Benzoyl Peroxide (5%) it worked well too, but this worked even better in completely clearing my acne like the other one didn't do. Bottom line is: This is a cheap, and in my opinion also the best, option to clear acne. I put only jojoba oil afterwards, rarely do I use any cream/moisturizer and I find that to help keeping me clear as well... I think the simplicity of just oil is good for the skin.

I first tried it 2 years ago and my face cleared up nicely. I started getting lazy and stopped using it and got acne back. Ive been on it again for a month now and will never use anything else. I only use this product at night .As my cleanser I use simple truth and cetaphyl as my moisturizer. I seriously love my regimen and love having smooth skin again. I do have a lot of scaring that hopefully the AHA will help fade once I start using that again also. I'm just happy I don't feel like I have to cover myself worth so much makeup anymore. Thanks Dan! I wear makeup every single day. I'm talking full-face makeup every weekday morning and even on weekends. This is the only thing that has helped me control my acne and maintain new ones from forming. I was on a strict regimen every morning and night. Everyone always asks me how I am able to keep my skin so clear with all the makeup products I use. Makes me feel so good and confident that I finally have a good system down where even though I put chemicals on my face I am still able to clean it off with Acne.Org regimen. I've noticed a huge difference after I finished the regimen, I broke out especially on my forehead. I was also under a lot of stress, (losing a baby and losing my home)... it just kept getting worse. I used PanOxyl as a substitute until I had enough to purchase the regimen again. Today is the day I do that because my acne is going CRAZY on me! I haven't worn foundation for a few months how insane is that! I need this regimen back in my life... so today is the day I get my acne back in control. And no worries about my stress levels, I'm controlling that as well :)

Most effective product I've ever used! I completely cleared my severe acne with this along with 2 cystic pimples. I had mild to moderate acne during May but then my breakouts and acne got worse and worse. It was to the point where it hurt so bad to touch my face. I recieved this product August 2nd and let me just tell you, in the beginning, your skin will be so dry and flakey! It was really hard to put makeup on over the acne because of the dryness. Don't let that drag you away though! After about a month or so, the flakeness went away and almost all my acne was clear! Now 3 months later, my skin is completely clear from acne. All I have left on my skin is red hyperpigmentation but I have been using the AHA+ and it's helping so much. My skin is bright and so smooth. Hopefully they go away once I start using a dermaroller! My review is 2 years delayed, and I just wanted to express my gratitude to Dan for creating this fantastic product. Like others have posted, my story is similar in that I tried everything under the sun. (two rounds of accutane, lasers, peels, weekly extractions at the dermatologists, prescription topicals, and lots of tears and pain). This is the ONLY thing that has kept my acne away, trust. Please please please try this, but this time have hope because your expectations will be fulfilled. My acne became extremely severe when I was 14, and I discovered this product when I was 18. I am 22 now and I will continue to use this as my brother and I strangely have cystic acne consistently even in our 20's. Stay strong, and thank you dan for giving me confidence, something that is priceless.
