Pros:

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!

Cons:

none, switched to all white sheets... no biggie

I'm 34 and have tried every acne treatment- prescriptions (pills, 15+ topical products, 2 rounds accutane), OTC (everything the drug store has) infomercial products (proactiv, murad..), I started the regimen on 10/1 and my skin is almost perfect!! I'm hoping this isn't temporary (like proactiv), it even got me through my monthly breakout with minimal problems. I use the BP and moisturizer morning and night, some days more, some less depending on dryness. The 2.5% neutrogena gives me hyperpigmentation for a few days after use (as does any other BP product) but I get none of these side effects with DK's product. The AHA is a fantastic spot treatment and has cleared any breakout FAST!! THANK YOU THANK YOU and don't you dare sell to a lesser company that will change this product to the other JUNK on the market!!

Pros:

This is the most gentle on my skin of any BP treatment I've used, yet it has eliminated all but the worst (hormonally-driven, I think) pimples. Head and shoulders above any BP product I've tried, and I've tried so many!

Cons:

None--though the large and painful zits do still appear--however I like that this was not touted as a "miracle product" that would solve all of my problems overnight. And my acne is most definitely under control and much less noticeable.

I am very happy with this product as part of the acne.org regimen. I have had the best results of my life with these products. (Have had adult acne for 13 years approx.)

Pros:

Love this; goes on clear, no more white streaks or gross white flakes. Seemed to work as well at the Neutrogena stuff, and cleared up several chronic spots in about a day and a half.

Cons:

It will leave your skin a little dry if you don't use moisturizer, but so will all the other BP products.

I really like this. If you want to use a BP product, this is probably the best stuff around.

Life Changing
I had horrible acne issues about 2 years ago. I was a junior in high school and I was embarrassed to even talk to anyone at school because my acne was so bad. I had it along my jawline, my cheeks, and my chin. I had tried almost everything to get rid of it and NOTHING was working. I came across acne.org looking for treatments on youtube. I saw the success stories from the regimen and I thought I would give it a try. When it came in the mail and I used it for the first time, I followed the directions extremely carefully because I wanted the best results. Acne.org shows a chart of what to expect in weeks 1, 2, 3...etc. My face went through some drastic changes in the first month or so like the chart had predicted. My skin was so incredibly dry and flaky AND I still had my acne. But after about 2 months my skin had adjusted to the high BP % and my skin began to clear up. It is now 2 years later and I still order the treatment consistently. I am so strict about my skin routine and follow this regimen morning/night no matter what. I recommend this product 150% to anyone who is willing to put in the effort and follow a face routine very well. Acne.org changed my life. 2 years ago I never could have imagined I would be getting so many compliments on my clear skin.

Thank you!
I honestly was not sure if the regimen would work but I decided to buy the entire kit (that included benzoyl peroxide, cleanser, moisturizer, jojoba oil and glycolic acid). The benzoyl peroxide is my favorite product because it prevented my acne from getting worse. Slowly my skin was clearing up and eventually my skin was under control. It dried out my skin sometimes but that's what the moisturizer and oil are for. I wish that I would have tried this product before going to the dermatologist and taking medication for my acne and buying other expensive products that only irritated my skin more. The acne.org site is straight to the point, very simplistic and affordable. The kit lasted me two months and I saw result after 2 weeks. I'm just glad that I found not only this product but also the others and I will definitely continue to purchase in the future.

Use different moisturizer if you are purging!!!
So I have used this benzoyl peroxide for about 4+ years now.. I usually only use it at night and it keeps my acne at bay. However, it does not completely keep me acne free but very very mild! Mild for me was about 2-3 small new pimples every week or 1 cystic pimple every month. I was okay with that and continue to use it only at night. About 3 months ago I started breaking out a lot and I think it was due to either stress from dental school or hormones, whatever it was, using this product only at night did not keep my acne as mild as I liked...and i started getting 5+ pimples at once..I also had more than 1 cystic acne month to month. So i started following the regimen precisely, substituting the face wash with Cerave Hydrating Facewash (dry-noraml skin) and the moisturizer with Cerave Moisturizing Lotion. At first, I bought the Cerave fashwash for OILY skin since my skin was pretty oily and that was a huge mistake, as it extremely dried out my face when used in combination with the benzoyl peroxide. So after i switched to the face wash for DRY skin, my skin was not as dry...however I was still getting acne and my skin was still flaking..I thought this was "purging" or my skin was still getting used to it, but I knew my skin was just irritated. I decided to switch my moisturizer to PONDS, and let me tell you that this absolutely did the trick. After two days I was no longer getting new pimples...maybe only very very small ones that aren't noticeable or red, just bumpy if you run your fingers across it. So this is why I knew it was the moisturizer that caused my skin to so call "purge"...So my skin was continuously getting better and after a few weeks it was mainly acne scars..Once my skin hit this point, I went on vacation and could only pack Cerave moisturizer into my 3 oz container because those who have PONDS know that its almost impossible to take out moisturizer from that tub. Anyways, I still followed the regimen but the only difference was the moisturizer..and after 2 weeks, my skin was once again dry, irritated, and breaking out. When I went back home, I realized it could be the moisturizer and voilaaaaa...it was...my skin went back being pimple free!! Albeit, still very dry, but I was not as bad and no longer getting new pimples. Also, I started using AHA+ every night mixed in with my moisturizer and it absolutely took care of the dry skin...The first two times I used it, it made my face EXTREMELY red and irritated..but stick through it and use a little bit each day and I promise you, it will change your life. I know this is a long post but I wanted to be as clear as possible to help anyone else out there dealing with acne.

You WILL have side effects
About a year and a half ago I started getting moderate acne all over my face but mostly cheeks. I had never gotten this much acne in my life and I was desperate. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror because my confidence dropped tremendously. It didn't take me that long to stumble upon the Acne.org Regimen and I didn't hesitate to try it out. My acne DID subside. Moreover, my case was one of those lucky ones that got their skin cleared up in a week or two. However, my face was red and peeling uncontrollably for a couple of months. Some people say that the skin will adjust to the BP eventually but even after using it for more than a year, my skin never fully 'adjusted'. The redness of my skin disappeared after a few weeks but then after a prolonged usage of the BP, my pore sizes increased. This was not because of the BP but it was due to the dryness it created. As my skin was constantly stripped off of moisture, I had to suffice it with moisturizer and jojoba oil. Using regular jojoba oil with Cetaphil didn't cut it so I used the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream at nights. (Mind you, I had a long painful journey finding the moisturizer that most effectively prevented flakes.) BP's dryness made my skin produce more sebum to upset the dryness and since I used heavy moisturizers to prevent flakes, I guess my pores were clogged and got enlarged. Unfortunately, I was never able to completely eradicate flakes. This then made me have to exfoliate my skin almost everyday. I used the AHA to reduce irritation but there were still dead skin on my face when I woke up in the morning and all the frequent rubbing made my face red and rough. Well, some of you might be wondering why I had put in so much effort in getting rid of flakes but I cannot go without make up and foundation on top of flakes is worst for me. So if you are a make up user you might understand my decisions. Staying on the Regimen allowed me to stay clear but I always felt bad about making my skin absorb all this chemical. However, I was afraid that getting off it would cause me acne again hence the prolonged use. I am currently 18 but when I used the regimen I felt like my skin looked like 28 because it was so dull and wrinkly. The lines on my forehead, those under eyes and my laugh lines were accentuated because of the dryness. I finally decided to go off the Regimen because I wanted to go out without make up. I looked super tired without it during the Regimen so I dared not go to school without foundation. Now I only use the AHA to exfoliate about two times a week but I don't have to rub anymore because my skin is already moist and plump. I take supplements such as Vit C,D3, omega 3, zinc and multivitamins to prevent acne. So far it's been going very well. Although I got 2 spots when I first went off the Regimen, they are very tiny and are slowly going away. Most importantly, I have no new spots and my skin looks soooo healthy. My skin tone is so fresh and I experience no flakes. Since there's no redness on my face, my hyperpigmentation look a lot more lighter. Ultimately, my advice is to use the BP at your own risk. I totally understand if anyone is just willing to risk anything to get rid of acne. I've been there done that. However, one thing for sure is that you shouldn't rely on BP forever. I recommenend you to use it to clear your acne and take a holistic approach to maintaining clear skin!

No more acne pimple after 10 days!!!
I'm 21 years old form Mauritius! I had mild/medium adult acne for 1 year now. I tried everything I could and was desperate.. until my sister told me about this product. I thought what could I lose in trying. This was the best decision i could make! I've been using the product for 10 days now and I got no more acne pimple on my face. Before that, everyday i used to get plenty of small white/yellow pimple all over my face. The only things is that my skin is breaking about due to dryness (even if I use the Regimen moisturizer) but I'm happy about it because it is removing the dark spots from previous acne off my face!! I am slowly getting back my confidence! I would definitely advice this product for anyone who is suffering form acne!

Best Product Ever
I've been suffering acne since pre adolescent, I'd try everything on the store/pharmacy, but when I used this I saw results in 3 days, in 2 week I was another person!! It's true that it started itching and my skin started having dry spots, but I used extra moisturizer by nights and problem solve! I highly recommend this product!

6 months in and disappointed.

Pros:

gets rid of acne
large size
affordable

Cons:

doesn't improve complexion
extremely irritating
allergic

FYI I'm sorry if this post is long and rambling with grammatical errors and whatnot. I literally have never written a review for ANYTHING in my life but I'm so upset that I feel the need to post my thoughts. I'm a 21 year old female of asian-american descent and I usually have a couple of small white heads on my forehead or chin, clogged pores around my nose and chin, and like one or two cystic zits a week if that matters to anyone reading. I know it doesn't sound that bad and many people have problems way bigger than that but thats not the point of this post! I was using the regimen for 6 month and it cleared most of my acne and even faded my scarring from my zits. BUT now that I've been using it for 6 months my skin is not the same as it used to be even with acne. I've developed a reaction. MY FACE always feels raw and irritated thanks to the Benzoyl Peroxide treatment that used to work for me. And the moisturizer doesn't make up for the fact that the BP is literally chemical burning my skin. I always have flakey dry spots in at least one place, usually where I used the bp for a zit. When I put it on it somehow contaminates the rest of my face and even my neck which has caused my eyes to swell up and now I have red patches of itchy irritated skin around my nostrils, chin, and the creases of my eyes and even my neck! The fine lines of my eyes are... the fine lines of my eyes!!! I've NEVER had fine lines under my eyes before this reaction! What the hELL?! lol. It's not worth using this chemical on my face to get rid of the zits. At this point I'd rather have the pimples because my face hurts and itches all the time and I don't even know when it will ever be back to normal, meaning when will my face ever stop HURTING?! Also, I've read that bp can thin your skin out and thin out the protective layer on the top of your skin as well which is pretty freaking scary to me since I want to protect my skin for the long haul and prevent any premature aging. All the while I had thought "Wow, 'BP oxygenates the skin' BP ROCKS!" I never did any research until now... stupid I know! So from now on I've decided that I'm going to try and eat better (more fruits and veggies, less dairy and junk food), drink more water, get more sleep, reduce my stress somehow, and use some AHA to help with my acne along with basic cleansing and moisturizing. And maybe one day I can even cut out my need to cover the red splotches and burns with tons of make up after Ive healed my skin from these side effects. ON top of all this physical irritation to my skin, I feel bad about myself because I don't feel confident about my face. I have a job as a greeter and as a barista at a coffee shop and some days I just want to hide from people or even cancel plans with friends! (YES I've canceled plans because I couldn't come to terms with my face lol) Im sure I don't have to mention how bad skin can make a person feel horrible and ugly. ANYWAY! Here are some things I've learned along my 6 month journey: Using bp has fairly rid my face of pimples and zits but has not "cleared my skin" by any means Using bp every couple of days doesn't make any difference in my reactions I've moisturized my face before bp to protect my skin from where I don't want it to go but that doesn't prevent cross contamination to the irritated areas I always wait for it to dry! yes I've followed the directions! I've ruined every towel in the house and my mom is angry with me for that one hahaha :( Even using very small amounts doesn't prevent my eyes from swelling up after using it I would have reconsidered using the bp if I had researched it beforehand I should be fighting the root cause of my acne not the acne itself. BP is to skin as is weed killer to grass... kills the weed but also the whole patch of grass I do like the AHA! And lastly, I'm angry and upset because I thought I had really found something that worked for me. If anyone want pictures of my face, god forbid someone really is that curious lol, I can email them. Thanks for reading.
