Pros:

Works way beyond any acne medication hands down! That comes from someone who has used Retin-A and Accutane.

Cons:

Dries your skin a bit...but it is to be expected like all acne meds.

I went through my teenage years and early to mid 20's dealing with cystic acne and constant breakouts. Once I found the Regimen cream online I took the risk of ordering and trying it out. It was the best decision I could have made. After using it for 4 YEARS now, I can say with great comfort that it is the best product there is for acne. My breakouts are non-existent, every once in a while I will have one or two small ones...but I assure you nothing compared to what I use to go through. My regimen is very basic, I put a thin film on every time I get out of the shower 2x a day. If my skin starts getting dry I use it only once a day. I purchase 5 tubes at a time and it last me 6-7 months. Don't hesitate to try this product out.

Pros:

IT WORKS! It may not work for everyone, but it's inexpensive and gentle enough to try. I'm very glad that I did. Proactiv did not work for me, which is a relief because its expensive!

Cons:

You have to be consistent in your regimen. It also might take too much time for some people, but it was totally worth it for me.

It's definetely worth a try, cheaper than other products, and worked for me when other stuff didnt. Also, I use cetaphil lotion and Nuetregena with make-up removal for a facial wash. It's a method that is working for me, inexpensive, and easy. NOTE: it took about a month or more to work, but after about 2 months, my skin is clear. Definetely worth a try!

Pros:

More effective than any other BP product I have used. It does wonders. And unlike other higher-concentration BP products, it doesn't bleach my clothes and towels as long as I wash my hands after using it.

Cons:

None really!

This is the only product that has permanently controlled my acne (along with use of moisturizers). Other stronger BP products cost more, you have to deal with prescriptions, it stained everything, it dried out my skin too much causing more breakouts, I had to spend much more time in the shower putting it on (utility bills) and I worried about sending more bleach-like compounds out into the environment. This way, most of the BP is absorbed directly into my face or back after I shower, rathe than going down the drain.

Pros:

Doesn't leave a white residue, doesn't go on heavy, doesn't cause irritation (probably from reduced rubbing) vs. the other recommended BP cream.

Cons:

Had to switch to white towels and pillow cases after my coloured ones started streaking, but this happens with all BP products.

I'm amazed that, for the first time in ten years, I finally have little to no acne. I still have some problems with clogged pores, but they don't turn into painful, monsterous, angry looking pimples. Though the regimen recommends using it twice a day, I find that a liberal layer put on at night before I sleep, along with washing twice a day, means that my face doesn't dry out and doesn't require moisturizers. I've been dropping far more money on a bunch of crap that likely just irritated my skin more for longer than I can remember. This is so easy that I actually do it every single night. I can't think of one night that I've missed since starting. Bottom line: it really works and is affordable enough to keep doing.

Pros:

Inexpensive, large size, clear on skin, easy to apply, doesn't stink, not as drying

Cons:

Relatively expensive to ship, especially to Canada.

I used to use Neutrogena's On-The-Spot Acne Treatment for years, but then they discontinued it in Canada. I had to find an alternative and I came across this one. It's less drying and I like the clear gel and its consistency. It's so easy to apply and you don't get that nasty white-ish appearance like with Neutrogena's cream. This product also doesn't have a strong smell. For my mild acne and sensitive skin, this product worked extremely well to prevent and treat acne, even though I just used it every night.

Pros:

Price and size

Cons:

Did not work

I truly wanted this to work for me. I've used Neutrogena BP and Proactive BP, both worked well for me. I tried this because of the price/size, but, it did not work. I really wish it would have. I used it for over a month, breakouts increased as I used it, breakouts went away when I switched back to Neutrogena. As a side note, I have extremely temperamental skin and have had acne for 18 years. It's never completely gone away, I can just manage it. I'm sure it may work for others whose skin is not as bad as mine.

Pros:

Excellent stuff. It's the only treatment that has successfully worked for me. I can't go a day without it. Thank you so much!

Cons:

Bleaches everything it comes in contact with - small price to pay for clear skin as far as I'm concerned.

It's cheap, shipments are fast, and it works.

Pros:

Double the size and half the price of Proactiv.

Cons:

A little more watery so it doesn't spread as well as Proactiv's lotion. The odor is more offensive too. But these are minor quibbles.

Double the size, half the price, and works exactly the same as Proactiv. It's hard to beat that.

Pros:

Feels good on the skin, non-irritating, effective, lasts long, CHEAP!

Cons:

I still get a pimple here and there.

I followed Dan Kern's regimen using Cetaphil cleanser I already had, this gel, and Cetaphil moisterizer, and so far I'm really happy with the results. My skin's noticibly clearer, and not dried out like it was with the Murad products. I still get a couple pimples every once in a while, but I'm fine with it because my skin honestly hasn't been like this since I hit puberty. I'm really happy with this product!
