Pros:

Not too expensive, helps pimples clear up a lot faster, one tube lasts a while.

Cons:

I haven't been able to get my face totally clear. Also, careful because it will bleach out your clothes if you get it on them.

I don't know what to say--apparently the regimen has totally cleared up most people's skin, but not mine. I've been careful to follow all of the rules as far as washing my face carefully, using a lot of bp, and not touching my face during the day. No luck. I still get frequent breakouts on my chin and forehead. The bp does help them clear up pretty quickly, though. 3 or 4 days whereas it used to be a week. I don't know, I have moderate acne so maybe I just need something stronger.

Pros:

Ok, can somebody ban the proactive commercial...they fooled me and my face...felt like freddy kreuger using that useless acid. And can somebody give Dan the nobel prize for making life so much easier for so many people including myself.

Cons:

expected dryness...shipping to sweden...lots of dough...totally worth it though...

...can ´t thank dan enough for making these products...

Pros:

Gel is easily applied. The cost for the quantity cannot be beat. And it works!

Cons:

That you can't go and buy it in the stores.

I have mild-to-moderate acne was using proactive for about 3 years. I am not on the regimen. I just wash my face with Cetaphil and then use Dan Kerns BP all over my face avoiding the eye, mouth and neck area. In the morning I wash it off with Cetaphil and moisturizer for the face with Neutrogena SPF 15. When I first started using it, I noticed my skin became really dry for about a week but it's gotten back to normal now. I also make sure to exfoliate once a week with St. Ives apricot exfoliator for sensitive skin. I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone, especially for proactiv users whose skin is used to the 2.5% BP formula.

Pros:

Finally a bp gel that is big enough to last more than two weeks! Glides on clear, feels very nice on the skin, I even like the very faint scent! It dries completely clear, no white residue like my other bp.

Cons:

If I really had to pick something, I would say it takes a tiny bit longer to absorb than my previous bp cream, but I like it much better, so who cares? I guess it's kind of a pain to have to order online and wait for shipping too, but it's worth it.

As soon as I put this stuff on my skin I loved it. I've only been using it for a few days so I hope I don't have any surprise reactions to it, but I don't think I will, my skin hasn't reacted to any other product I've switched to for the regimen. I don't know why people say it's expensive to ship to Canada, I bought one bottle, paid $8.50 I think for the product and $3.00 shipping. Since it was such a low amount I wasn't taxed on it at all. $12 total for this stuff compared to $8 I was previously spending for a product that lasted two weeks? Definitely worth it! I'm not being biased either, the regimen really works. SO awesome.

Pros:

Goes on great and you get your moneys worth. Does a great job in healing pimples. Just remember, patience is a virtue.

Cons:

Slow shipping time but it's worth the wait.

This works, just give it time. In the morning I found that mixing the BP gel with the Cetaphil lotion worked really well in having the BP sink in my skin as well as it not drying it out.

Pros:

Great value. Consistency makes it easier to smooth on than On The Spot. It works!

Cons:

I've tried hard but I can't think of any.

This works! At least it has for me. In thirty years struggling with mild adult acne, my skin has never looked this good. As someone commented earlier, I just hope Dan keeps on making and selling this gel. I did try the Neutrogena On the Spot cream, and it does work, just as Dan said it would, but it was too thick and dried out too quickly, so I couldn't get a thin smooth layer all over. Dan's gel is far superior.

Pros:

It does what it says it does. Clears and prevents acne, and thats exactly what it did for me! Then I ordered a bunch more for my brother and friends. It really doesn't irritate the skin as much as other BP's, and it works perfectly under moisturizer

Cons:

Can't think of any.

I just hope Dan inc. keeps producing this product... Try it yourself and follow the regimen CAREFULLY, my first attempt I failed miserably because I used too much BP in the beginning, which caused me to avoid BP for a couple years. If you actually follow the regimen, theres a high chance that this will work for you!
