Pros:

Not irritating.
A little goes a long way.
Doesn't seem to stain clothing like other products.

Cons:

None

Awesome product! Finally, something that really seems to consistently work w/o irritating my skin.

Pros:

Goes on clear, readily spreads across skin without drying up, does not "clump up" with most moisterizers, less redness and flakes than with Neutrogena On-The-Spot, large size

Cons:

Must be purchased through the Internet

I am 21 years old and just recently started experiencing a resurgence of mild acne. I first started having problems with acne during junior high and high school. As breakouts became less frequent towards the end of high school, however, I made the mistake of assuming that the problem had been largely a puberty-induced one, and stopped taking care of my face. When whiteheads started reappearing in force a few months back, I panicked and went through several over-the-counter products in a period of weeks, hoping to find that ever-elusive overnight miracle product. Needless to say, this only worsened the symptoms. Thanks to Dan's website, I now have a simple, consistent regimen that has been working very well for me: Basis Sensitive Skin soap bar, BP, and Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. I've been on this regimen for about a month now, and my face has cleared up remarkably. I just recently switched to Dan's BP Gel from Neutrogena On-The-Spot, and it is simply a much better prod

Pros:

It's totaly affordable and pretty easy to use. I only use it once a day because it was drying out my face too much, but I use the face cleanser morning and night.

Cons:

It bleaches your clothes

Keep with the program and don't give up. IT WILL WORK!!

Pros:

I have no drying issues like I did with the Nuetregena version and it costs a lot less. Plus, my skin doesn't burn at all. I love it and my skin is clearing up for the first time in years! Thank god!

Cons:

I dislike online ordering, but it's a VERY small issue.

Worth a trial. I love the stuff and I would suggest it to anyone who has tried almost everything on the market!!!!!!

Pros:

Goes on great and you get your moneys worth. Does a great job in healing pimples. Just remember, patience is a virtue.

Cons:

Slow shipping time but it's worth the wait.

This works, just give it time. In the morning I found that mixing the BP gel with the Cetaphil lotion worked really well in having the BP sink in my skin as well as it not drying it out.

Pros:

I like how it goes on, way better than on the spot

Cons:

I just ran out!

Great value

Pros:

No fragance, one tube lasts for couple of months, goes on clear! It actually works!

Cons:

Drying at first.

I've been using Dan's 2.5% gel for 8 months now and it works great. Other than oxy face wash, nothing has really worked that well for me. I now use only Dan's bp gel and the new gentle cleanser. Both last a really long time compared to drugstore products. It's very economical. You have to use it religiously though. If I skip for a couple of days, my skin starts to act up again. The first month or so, my skin became really dry because it was getting used to the bp but it does go away and your skin gets used to it. I have light to moderate acne and I highly recommend this product!!!

Pros:

it works and it works amazingly. of the 3 2.5% bp's ive tried (ots/proactiv's) the gel is my favorite for application, goes on smooth and easily and leaves no extra residue.

Cons:

none

i've been on the regimen for about a month now, using OTS and my old leftover Proactiv BP, and the regimen has been working somewhat well, but i was still getting a few breakouts here and there. Im not sure if it was Dan's gel or just timing, but as soon as i started using his gel i stopped getting ANY new pimples (1 week so far) and my current ones are going down rediculously fast. I only have 2 remaining pimples which are on their way out fast. this product is so good..as close to a 'miracle' cream as i've ever found..
February 10, 2007

Pros:

Sinks into skin fast and leaves no residue whatsoever.

The most effective thing i've ever used (and i've tried everthing!) I really can't say enough good things about it.

Cons:

none

(of course new users can expect dryness, as with any acne treatment. Moisturize after it sinks in and your skin will get used to it within a week or two!!)

This stuff saved my skin. It's a true "secret weapon".

Pros:

smooth, easy absorption, works pretty well

Cons:

dries skin, but pretty much all acne meds do that

I have dealt with hormone-based acne for a couple years now, meaning as a side effect of birth control. One pill gave me some pretty bad acne, that I had finally gotten under control using this gel and the gentle cleanser. Of course, right after that I switched to the shot (NEVER EVER USE DEPO!) which brought it all right back again times ten. Right now the only thing that even helps at all is this gel, and I had prior proof that it works. Don't put Accutane or other posions in your system, just keep clean and use the 2.5 BP gel.
