Pros:

-Keeps acne "at bay".
-Price per ounce.

Cons:

-Recommended BP application method is irritating, unfortunately it doesn't work 'wonders' by simply applying it on real quick.
-Time consuming

Obviously NOT better then any prescribed products. Definitely good for a "last resort" for acne but definitely will not make your skin crystal clear. I have used it for 3+ years and still have 1-2 cystic lesions at a time.

Pros:

Clears chronic, cystic acne. Seriously, I had small little acne cysts that hurt so much!

Cons:

It took a while for my skin to become used to it, at first I had redness and itchy, dry skin. I still have acne scars that I have to cover up with foundation (but I guess it can't get rid of everything! ).

Not sure why it's taken my this long to review the "treatment" but over the past year it really has done wonders for my skin! My roommates started using it last year, and I started using it in the fall as a last-ditch effort (I had had chronic acne since elementary school and I was 21 when I first bought it and I had tried an endless supply of products before), and it worked really well. Like I stated previously, it took some getting used to but after about a month there was a noticeable improvement in my skin. It's the only one of these products I use (I use Cetaphil as moisturizer) but it still works well. I still get (rather small) whiteheads now and then but they usually go away pretty quickly and are a lot less painful than what I previously dealt with. Thanks, Dan!

Pros:

*Reduced acne within 3 days
*dried up acne.
*clear pores

Cons:

*excessive dryness.
*darken skin complexion.
*slight irritation with redness

within 3 days i got my result.it reduces my acne severity and dried out my acnes. 1-2 new acne breakout. bt im satisfied cause i had more acne.im using it for 6 days.but the worst point is its darkening my skin and makes dry.but im happy ,cause i want to get rid of my acne. did not work over acne spot.as i used clindamycin phosphate for 5days it dint work much,though BP worked only within 3 days. :):):)

Pros:

The product goes on clear and does not clump with lotion. The bottles contain alot of product for a good price.

Cons:

I've been using Duac in the morn and differin at night for awhile. However, my face was drying out way too much and the Duac clumped with everything. So i purchased this BP and used in for several weeks but it irriated my skin really bad.

Its way to irritating for my skin but would be great for those who have oily skin and toughter skin.

Pros:

Worked pretty well but by no means a miracle worker

Cons:

Made my face extremely red, itchy and flaky no matter how much moisturizer i put on

I think i may be allergic to it since it has caused me so much crusting on the face but i also have used proactiv which is also 2.5 % BP.

Pros:

Left my face with very few inflamed acne lesions

Cons:

Also left my face insanely dry and bleached? Its noticeably lighter where I used this product. My skin is really damaged from this stuff, didn't work out at all. Made it impossible for my redmarks to heal. Also cost a lot with shipping.

Pros:

When it works it really works. Comparatively speaking it is reasonably priced.

Cons:

Inconsistent results over long term. Bleaches black skin. Bleaches clothes. Once start using can't stop as will get major breakout. Skin around eyes got wrinkly (dryness?) after started product - even though don't put it there. Have to order online.

I gave an average rating because for some periods my skin looks fab but for others horrendous. Not sure if it's inconsistent product, application or hormones. I'm making a conscious effort with application now and will rate again after a couple of months ..but I'm up to about 2 tubes/mth now so it's not as cheap as it used to be. Kudos to Dan though. I would encourage others to try it as some have had great results. I would love to hear about the experiences of other black skin users
