Pros:

Works amazingly well! So much better than the Neutrogena On the Spot (which can leave your face looking white). Dan's formula goes on clear -no one will ever know you loaded so much on !

Cons:

none

If you follow the directions, it's going to work, go ahead and buy the big bottle!

Pros:

Ummm, it worked really well for me, that's the Pro!

Cons:

Can't find it in (local) stores.

I had moderate acne starting in highschool and had tried and been prescribed tetracycline, doxcycline, differin, 10% BP, Proactiv, witch hazel, and about 7-8 others. None of those made a difference whatsoever except sometimes the Proactiv mask stuff for spots. So I tried to just wait it out and outgrow it, but it didn't seem that was going to happen as I still had it my sophomore year of College. I had checked this site before and read a lot of Dan's stuff and decided to just go ahead and do it. I am so glad I did! I did the complete routine from the very start and saw pretty good results after about 2 weeks. I kept going through gradually upping the bp dose and after about 4 months, my acne was 95% clear. Clear as in almost zero spots. At that point I couldn't keep up with the routine (laziness)and now I use the purpose soap, bp gel and moisturizer every other day. I still fluctuate between 90%-95% clear after cutting back, but that's 90-95% better than what I was.

Pros:

Great consistency. Goes on easily. Dries quickly. Totally clear. Soft, cool, soothing feel. No odor. Great under makeup and moisturizer. Convenient pump for consistent dosage size each time.

Cons:

Absolutely none.

Best BP product I've ever used. I've tried Persa-gel, Clearasil, Neutrogena and Proactiv, and Dan's 2.5% BP is the BEST of the best. It goes on fast, smooth, soft, and clear. Once it's part of your daily routine, you won't even think twice about it -- it's SO EASY! It's not like the chalky white Neutrogena that has to be blended in just-so, or greasy Proactiv that takes forever to dry. Dan's BP is the best product I have ever used on my skin. I can't say enough about it. I've been using it for over four years and I love the new 16-oz pump dispenser. I use different types of moisturizer depending on the season, and all of them have worked great over this BP product. One caveat: After four years, I have a few bleached-out pillowcases now, but I think it looks kind of cool. Sort of tie-dyed. I make sure to wash the bleached pillowcases regularly so I can use them instead of ruining any other pillowcases.

Pros:

Well, it's not 10% BP so it doesn't dry your skin as badly.

Cons:

Bleaches collars, towels, bed sheets. Doesn't work too well. Doesn't absorb easily.

Sorry guys, after buying a bunch of these a long time ago and using the product for two years, I can't say that it works that well. Sure, it's 2.5% BP is *less* drying than the 10% BP is, but it just doesn't work that well. Dan recommends using LOTS of it, but I find that this only makes your face greasy and clogs your pores, as the product does not absorb into the skin that well. And since it doesn't absorb that well and it's BP, prepare for a tremendous amount bleaching of your favorite shirts, your towels, and your bedding. (I can't even tell you how many of my shirts have been ruined by this product. Even if you take care not to apply too low on your neck, ruining collared shirts and other fabrics is completely unavoidable.) I can't recommend this product. It hasn't worked well from the start. I'm looking at the reviews for other products out there, and won't be continuing with "the regimen" when my supply runs out soon. BP, no matter what the form, is not the

Pros:

Prevents big pimples. I still get tiny ones from time to time, but it's nothing compared to before. Feels great on skin and the fragrance is actually very pleasant, in my opinion.

Cons:

Not sold in stores D=

Gosh, I couldn't possibly say enough nice things about this product. It, along with Dan's cleanser and moisturizer, has saved my life. My skin looks 95% better than before. I still get a tiny pimple here and there, but it's really nothing to complain about. This is truly the only product that has worked for me. Thank you, Dan, for developing this amazing product! I'm SO glad I found your site! **Just note that it will take some time to see improvements. I know how discouraging it can be, but believe me, you'll be glad you stuck with it in the end.**

Pros:

Awesome product! It goes an smoothly and dries beautifully. I have been getting a significantly fewer number of pimples. It's been helping me get my acne under control.

Cons:

If you start with too much, it will dry out your skin. Start out slowly as the regime recommends and be sure to moisturize!

This product is amazing and lasts a long time!!

Pros:

Less harsh than the 5% & 10% BP formulas that are mostly what you find in the stores. So much less expensive than the stuff at the stores.

Cons:

None. It has discolored my pillowcase, but any BP product would. I recommend buying a cheap pillowcase.

Love it.
