Pros:

Feels clean afterwards, gets oil and dirt off of my face

Cons:

Had worse acne overall with Neutrogena's acne prone soap than I did with their "original formula" soap; Smells kind of funny

I don't really see why it's for "acne prone" skin; Neutrogena's normal stuff works better if you ask me; They have an "original formula" that is fragrance free, too

Pros:

Gentle, yet slightly drying so you feel like you won't get a breakout anytime soon.

Cons:

The SMELL bothers me..and it can feel a little too drying for your face, but I can handle it--I have really oily skin. and DONT get this in your eye. It stings soooooooo badly.

This is a good general soap that makes my skin feel really soft, fresh, and smooth. I'm tempted to try the Purpose kind though because it has really high reviews...The smell(and thus taste, ew) is really bad so sometimes I have to hold my nose while im washing my face with it. But other than that it doesnt bother me so much. It's great for sensitive skin! But if you get it in your eyes, you'll regret it!

Pros:

I have used this product for 12 years, and I love it. I have very oily skin, and so the fact that it is drying is not a problem for me. The salycilic acid complements my other acne medication, and it keeps little zits from forming.

Cons:

Can be drying. If so, try Neutrogena's other bar soaps.

The salicylic acid in it works wonders for small bumps.

Pros:

I have only been using a week and it cleared my skin. But I only have mild to moderate acne

Cons:

Drys out skin.Starting to get litte hardly noticable red itchy bumps.

Use a good moisturizer and you will be good to go.

Pros:

Cleans Very Well

Cons:

Too drying!

I didn't care too much for this soap. It was too drying. It caused me to have red, irritated skin. I had to switch to a cleanser that had olive oil in it for moisture.

Pros:

Really cleans your face well

Cons:

Well, maybe cleans a little too well and your face is dry

Just by using this cleanser, my face has cleared up quite a bit. I haven't had any of those big nasty pimples since I've started using this and my exisiting red spots have gotten much smaller. I think if you used this in conjunction with some sort of quality moisturizer, you'll be good to go!
