Pros:

Smells Good, Easy to Use, Overnight Zapper Miracle !

Cons:

Tingles and/or Stings.

Great for those problem zits that keep getting bigger. I use Rembrant brand toothpaste, so thats why it's a tad bit expensive.

Warning about irritation!!
Although toothpaste can dry out spots, it generally causes over drying. Because of this, your body responds by producing oil to compensate resulting in increased risk for more spots. I made this mistake of applying toothpaste every night. since I stopped my spots are less aggravated and my skin doesn't dry out too much.

Please don't ever do this, EVER!
I don't know why i even attempted this. I should have known better. I put this on my face and now i have a huge chemical burn on my face that is probably going to take months, maybe even years to go away. I literally cried for 2 hours straight after seeing my face. Its horrible. Please don't ever do this to your face, it might work for some people, but its not worth the risk in my opinion. Just go get some benzoyl peroxide from the drugstore and use that instead.

Same just happened tomenim gutted. My skin has dried out and a massive burn mark in the middle of it. I only dabbed it on a pimple on my cheek area and left overnight and now this hurrendous mark. I jave spinal surgery in the morning and I am not allowed makeup on!!! Gonna look great that mark. I agree never do this ever because I certainly won't be x

worst thing you can put on your skin

Pros:

can dry out a pimple

Cons:

increases inflamation
damages lipid layer
excessive dryness

first of all it usually contains baking soda, an alkaline substance that compromises the quality of the lipid layer and the integrity of the skin. 3 main ingredients in toothpaste=sodium lauryl sulfate(an alkaline soap), mint(an irritant), and silica(an abrasive). So in a nutshell you are striping your skin of the ability to protect itself from bacteria and using an abrasive substance to make tiny scratches all over your skin and throwing something at it that will irritate the crap out of your skin. the key to good skin is to create a balance. that means use gentle products that wont compromise your skins integrity.

It works on single acne.
it can dry out the acne. Do not apply it on the whole face, just on the acne.

Pros:

reduced swelling of new pimples
dries up pimples so that they can easily fall off
cheap

Cons:

left scars
stings
can be a bit messy

Ive been using colgate toothpaste for almost a month now, and yes overnight , and I usually sleep for 6-8 hours. After a few days of using it, I saw a mild improvement--reduced the redness and the size of my new pimples. However, I started peeling it off while it was dry, and I believe that was the cause of the scars/red spots, as a replacement of my pimples, DONT peel it off, trust me. Let it dry and mildly wash it off with noncomogenic soaps. I use Ivory since it doesnt have any chemicals. Although it does get rid of new grown pimples, it doesnt get rid of scars, thus, try to use Tea Tree Oil. THE BEST WAY TO GET RID OF ACNE FAST, IS TO SLEEP EARLY, AND AVOID PICKING THEM. Im a 15 year old teenager, and I usually sleep at 12-1am . From 10pm our faces start to produce more oil as usual.

Pros:

- Drys out Acne
- You can feel it working

Cons:

- Can Burn Skin if Left on too long

I do this with white toothpaste every once and a while, and I've had okay results. However, the last time I tried it, I fell asleep with it on. The next morning when I went to wash it off my face, I was horrified to see that I had huge dark purple marks in some places, and my skin was burned pretty bad on my forehead. Thats never happened before, so I steamed my face and applied Melaleuca Oil on the spots so it would heal & not leave scars. It worked, && I'll never mess with toothpaste again.

Pros:

dries the pimple before it gets worse.

Cons:

leaves a dark spot, if left for a long period of time.

if you have sensitive skin, make sure to use it for 15-30minutes. If left over night it will leave a red mark, but the pimple will be gone and give it a day or two and the red spot will be gone.Or just use whitening cream. This is used for people that can't afford to buy the expensive stuff; and when you run out its a good back up.
