Pros:

none

Cons:

it made my skin worse

I used toothpaste, not the gel, and I left it on over night. The next day, I had a lot of white heads around my chin area. I'm guessing it didn't work for me because my skin is sensitive, idk. I don't want to try it again because I'm afraid it might get worse, but it might work for someone else

Pros:

Gets rid of litlle bumps but not the big pimples

Cons:

Doesn't get rid of cystic acne that well

Use it for light to moderate acne, or else it is a waste

Pros:

-tingly sensation feels invigorating
-took away the redness in my blemish
-reduced the size of my blemish

Cons:

-i only used it for about an hour, so it didn't reduce my blemish that much. i used it for a "good morning" blemish because pretty soon i have to go to work where i talk to many customers. however, even within an hour, it's hardly noticable.

many people complain about blistering and experiencing lots of pain and redness, it is most likely because they either have really sensitive skin or are using a toothpaste with whitening. DO NOT USE WHITENING TOOTHPASTE ON YOUR FACE--EVER! it has lots of hydrogen peroxide in it and most definately will cause irritation (duh). toothpaste works because it dries out the blemish and draws out excess oil. here's a link i found that may help with more info and more home remedies: [link removed]> (also remember to wash it off after you're done, it makes the skin look really pale and pasty)

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

Made my acne grow twice in size, become even more inflamed!

I applied this the night before, noticed a tingling sensation from the mint in the toothpaste, but I figured it was normal. Woke up this morning to huge, painful, bright red cysts where my acne was! I haven't broken out this badly in years. Thank god for lactic acid, within a couple of hours of using that peel the cysts had shrunken down in size. They're still a bright-red eye sore, though. I don't know what happened, maybe I used the wrong kind of toothpaste or something. I will NEVER try this again!!

Pros:

none

Cons:

it burns your skin off!!!

toothpaste def doesnt work so idk why everyone says it does. the reason that it used to be a big deal is cause toothpaste used to have zinc in it which works on acne but toothpaste doesnt contain zinc anymore. when i used it it like chemically burned my face or somthing like that. my skin was buring and dry and my skin peeled off. it was terrible!!! so unless you want to burn your skin then go ahead and use it

Pros:

Minty, easy to use, and affordable

Cons:

Burned my skin so severely after a week or so that I couldn't go outside until it healed.

It's great--at first. Don't become to reliant on it because it may not happen soon but it WILL burn. I had these long, red rash-like marks all over my face for two weeks, even with the aloe vera I applied.

Pros:

It's tingly and feels awesome.

Cons:

It literally burned my skin. There's a patch. =[

Watch for the amount of time you leave it on. Don't leave it overnight or else it will burn where the toothpaste was.
