Pros:

It's fast, effective, cheap. It gets rid of pimples. I buy the cheapest brand for my treatment :)

Cons:

It leaves slightly dark spots on your face after the pimple is completely dried out.

Toothpaste really helps in drying out pimples completely. (If you have sensitive skin try it out on one single pimple, leave the toothpaste overnight and watch for any reactions the next morning.) Do not use the toothpaste method for long periods of time. I just use it once or twice a week. The bad side to it, is that I noticed dark spots on my skin a few days later after the pimple was gone, but a good facial whitening cream should correct this problem.

I faced the same thing as well, actually what happened is that we kept it for too long and it burned our skin.. I'm thinking to use it for an hour only on the pimple and see what is gonna happen.

Pros:

works well, and fast
cheap
smells good

Cons:

it does burn a little, and make your eyes water

use it. the other comments i've seen about it sucking, and drying out your skin, by NO means should you keep it on over night, or even more than an hour for that matter, especially if you are using a mint toothpaste. i usually put it on twice a day about 5 minutes before i brush my teeth and wash it off when im done. works fine for me.

Pros:

It's good for brushing your teeth ONLY!

Cons:

It gave me a VERY DARK Purple/ Brownish/ Red mark.

Do not use toothpaste on your pimples! Use Aloe Vera, or get rid of pimples other ways without so many harsh chemicals. I made such a mistake and left it on for 40 minutes, and now i am scarred. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake i had made.

Pros:

Feels great and dries up pimples overnight. Alot cheeper than medications or even ober the counter treatments. I have 4 children 4 and under and am constantly under stress and if it works for me. I know it will for you. JUST TRY IT!!!!

Cons:

Burns a little but it hurts so good

If someone were to slap a acne treatment label on a toothpaste tube they would make millions. If you use a expensive mask to dry up your acne just try toothpaste. It may feel odd but in my opinion it works better. I use it overnight but someone with sensitive skin may want to only leave it on for a few minutes.

Pros:

Reduces size of zits, makes face feel fresh.

Cons:

Burns a little at first.

I got the idea from a website. It said to only leave it on 15 minutes. That would probably explain why I haven't expressed the irritation others on here have experienced. Leaving it on all night sounds sucky. Anyway, it works, and suggest it to anyone who all those stupid fancy products don't really work for.

Pros:

Gets rid of acne faster than I even knew was possible. My toothpaste brand (listed below) does not cause redness or drying.

Cons:

If you forget to take it off you will look like an idiot. Almost made that mistake this morning.

I use Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste. It is designed for use with sensitive teeth that become irritated from food acids. This stuff has been a miracle acne cure. I use it overnight, and it shrinks acne, and causes it to heal up fast. The toothpaste adheres to my skin after about 10-15 minutes, so it never comes off on my pillow. Unlike what many people say, mine does not dry up my skin, and it does not cause redness or irritation. I believe it's because it's a sensitive toothpaste. Normal toothpaste is designed to aggressively clean teeth with chemicals, so I can see why a regular whitening toothpaste would burn your skin like battery acid and cause redness with discomfort. Try my toothpaste, it's been great. I have had acne for years, and lately I have finally gotten rid of it completely with no side effects using toothpaste, taking vitamins, and making minor lifestyle changes. I plan to start a website soon dedicated to helping everyone become acne free. Good luck!
