Pros:

smells great, drys my skin and my face is cleaner then before and skin is cleaner... I love it a lot and would recommend for anyone ...

Cons:

At times (depending on the weather) my skin gets to dry, but i don't mind :)

I would totally get this product again if trader Joes has it again for cheap, this face product isn't cheap to me, but i would get it for $4...

Pros:

All natural
No parabens
No harsh chemicals
Inexpensive

Cons:

Contains soap
Very thin, liquid consistency

So far, so good. I will continue to try this product, as it does not seem to irritate my skin and does give it a nice dry feeling. I follow it up with an application of a couple drops pure tea tree oil, diluted with water, applied to blemishes using a cotton ball. Then, once dry, I slather on an oil-free moisturizer with SPF 30. So far my skin is recovering nicely from a very annoying hormonal breakout, but I think this face wash could be too drying for everyday use. I have oily skin, but this is excessive. I also know it is not recommended to use "soap" on the face. I also purchased a very gentle, all natural, Vitamin C and E based cleanser to alternate with this one to reduce the drying on my skin. It seems like a great option for those of us who do not want to wash our faces with artificial, harsh chemicals and parabens. I recommend this, with some hesitations about its astringency, to those with oily skin and a love of natural products.

Pros:

Left a nice clean feeling when I washed it off. Literally squeaky clean, and tingly. All natural.

Cons:

Didn't help with acne whatsoever, bad breakouts, BLACKHEADS everywhere.

I wouldn't buy this product. I'm quite disappointed that after all of the great reviews I read, I bought it with no satisfaction, at all. Instead of clearing my skin it broke it out. I already had blackheads around my nose area, and using this stuff, cause me to get them everywhere else! I formed at least 4 new pimples by using this stuff. I switched back over to the brand I was using, Sothys, and my face got healthier looking after 1st use. So glad I switched back over, this stuff does NOT work for me.

Pros:

-Acts as an astringent; it draws out blackheads

Cons:

-Extremely irritating & drying

I'm a mid-20's female with pretty dry skin. I've never had acne on my forehead. After using this, I did. My forehead is covered in little pimples, my cheeks, which rarely break-out, are spattered with large zits, and my usual jaw and chin problem is even worse. I kept using it for 4-6 weeks because I like to give every product a full chance. I suspect that it irritated my already dry skin enough to make it break out more. If you are at all dry, stay away from this. Even massive amounts of jojoba oil didn't stop the dryness and irritation. If you're oily, this may be a good choice for you, but even then, be sure to moisturize.

Pros:

Excellent for fighting bacteria

Cons:

Slightly drying

I use this on my face AND on my body. It works better than the body wash and I do not have problems with body odor anymore. In addition to Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Facewash I also use Mychelle products on my face and have been quite pleased with them. The pumkin face lotion is great and the sunscreen is a must. Love the fruit fiesta face soap too and the scrub for every other day. ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN!

Pros:

It's all natural and doesn't contain that many ingredients, which can irritate the skin. After 4 uses, I noticed my skin a little brighter and clearer.

Cons:

The smell is not very appealing. And you can only get it at Trader Joe's.

I use the face wash at night along with the tea tree oil pads and vitamin E oil. I have noticed that my face is clearing up and my scars are getting less noticable. I've been doing this for 4 days straight. I can't wait to see more results a month from now!

Pros:

doesn't irritate
doesn't dry skin
no harsh chemicals
easy to wash of the face/no resedue

Cons:

hard to find in stores

I like the product. I have a mild rosacea. It doesn't irritate my skin (most products do). It is not drying my skin, but I use it with cool water. It may be a key. I use it twice a day. My dauther started using it and her black comedons are less noticable now.

Pros:

This product is very cleansing and leaves skin almost squeaky clean.

Cons:

It is sometimes very drying to the skin, I would definitely recommend a moisturizer after using this cleanser.

Overall this product is utterly amazing. Not only is it completely natural and cheap but it also works very well. After using it just once it leaves the skin radiant and almost brighter. I had acne all over my cheeks mostly and my forehead and it has minimized it a lot compared to other expensive products I've bought before. I would recommend using a moisturizer afterwards because it tends to leave the skin very dry. I've only had 2 weeks of using this product but in only 2 weeks I've seen improvement and will hope for more.

Pros:

-Excellent at removing makeup
-Cleared acne
-Improved skin tone
-Reduced redness
-Removes oil
-Huge bottle (32OZ)

Cons:

-Drying
-Stings if you get in to eyes

This product is EXCELLENT. After three weeks of usage, I threw out all of the other cleansers I had, because this has taken over everything they did and done it better. :) After seeing Dearly's post, I decided to try it, and it's def. worth it! I also use the Pretika Sonicdermabrasion facial brush to cleanse with it. At first I was concerned it would be too harsh, but it hasn't been so far and I'm finally getting control of my skin again. It can be drying-- my solution was to buy the desert essence jojoba oil and mix a drop with my moisturizer (neutrogena sensitive skin-oil free) and it's worked like a charm. This cleanser is amazing.

Pros:

Controls oil. A little goes a long way.

Cons:

Can be slightly drying but I have found that if I use this once a day (usually at night) and then Cetaphil once a day(usually in morning) that my skin is just fine. I just make sure to alternate so it doesnt dry my skin out.

It has improved my skin tremendously, I cut out all sacilyic acid and my skin has never looked better. I did have hormonal acne around my mouth and always on my chin and it is finally shrinking, I definately reccomend this cleanser with a gentle one and a light lotion.
