Pros:

It does work!

Cons:

- Initially causes redness and irritation
- Initially causes extremely dry skin ( I added jojoba oil to the mix and my dryness ceased)
- May cause more pimples to come out but they will heal and die.
- MUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER!
- Must be consistent!

I started doing the regimen in october 2011 after I broke out like crazy! I've always had some acne, more than the usual person, but last year it got really bad. Initially my face got really dry and red, but I could see that my pimples were also drying out and dying. After 6 months of treatment I was cleared except for a few hyperpigmentation marks and my skin no longer got red or irritated after applying BP. I still get pimples, though not nearly as much, and doing the regimen kills them overnight.

Pros:

Works fast
Very clear instructions

Cons:

Dries out skin but that's to be expected. Use the moisturizer!

My 18 year old son has had pretty bad acne on his face, chest and back and tried products with salicylic acid and has washed with soap and used facial masks. These helped only minimally. I bought this 3-step treatment kit, carefully went over the instructions with him, and he followed it exactly. His skin starting clearing in days! He gets almost no new acne, and the old stuff is gradually fading. He moisturizes as instructed and even adds the jojoba oil. What an improvement! It seems that there are basically two active ingredients out there: benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. The latter didn't work for him, but the BP, along with the cleansing instructions have worked beautifully for my son. As an added bonus: the price was right and we didn't have to go to a dermatologist.

Pros:

None, really..

Cons:

Leaves skin extremely dry ALL DAY
BP burns
Bleaches towels, clothes
Did not improve my acne at all

Just don't waste your time. I started off with light/moderate acne, and after about 3 months of usage I have been left with moderate/severe acne! I continued use because I assumed the worsening was the "purging" stage of treatment, and followed the instructions precisely, no- religiously. ProActiv & Murad worked 10000x better than this treatment. Now, I am left with a few cysts (I used to only have maybe one every few months), other pimples surrounding them on my cheeks (where I have NEVER broken out before), and a visit to the dermatologist next week. Specifically, the BP burns, moisturizer doesn't work, and left my skin seriously flaking off. I would've given this treatment NO stars, if that were an option. Please, just don't start this regiment. Especially if you have dry skin or light acne to begin with.

Pros:

easy to use
showed results in 2 weeks!
it works!

Cons:

NONE!

so it has been 1 month since i have started using the regimen and holy crap! it really does work! i first discovered this product by watching some of my favorite youtube beauty gurus and thought what the heck ill give it a try. i have tried so so so soooo MANY products throughout my life since i was in 8th grade and just decided to give up because none of them were working. i lost hope trying to cure my acne. i am now 22yrs old and i have now found my holy grail for acne! i have used products ranging from proactive, neutrogena, clean&clear, acne free, dermalogica, and Obagi acne products and NONE worked. i am so glad that i decided to try The Regimen because i was reluctant at first, but i got results within 2 weeks! even people at school were noticing that my skin seemed more smoother and clearer. of course they asked what i did and i said "go to acne.org!" haha. the only downfall is that it makes my face dry and flaky (i have an oily face), but thats what i expected because thats what the info said that it will do. another is that it is time consuming with the wait in between the products to apply them, but hey The Regimen works best if you wait for each product to completely dry to apply the next one. now my only problem is my acne scars. anyways, thanks Dan!

Pros:

- EFFECTIVE.
- Viewable, measurable results.
- Worth the dry, red skin, the time, the patience, the effort.
- Effective, this sh*t works, what more can I really say?
- Did I say effective?
- Skin is not dull, but radiant. Don't see why people complain about dull skin :/.
- Products smell and feel nice compared to others.

Cons:

- Expensive shipping.
- I really should stress how horrible the scaly, red, tight, dry, flaky skin is. I understand why people quit early!
- Embarrassing packaging on products haha.

I got this last week. Before I was using cetaphil cleanser, brevoxyl (4% benzoyl peroxide), and a boots extreme dry skin moisturizer. I've been doing the regimen since the 5th of September with those products. It took 2.5 months for my skin to get used to just half the amount that's recommended because of the high percentage benzoyl peroxide, but my skin was 75% clear. Last week I took the plunge and I ordered Dan's products. F**k...F**K. My GOD. In just a WEEK my skin is 99% clear, just a little flaky and red when I put make-up on. I'm so happy. It's not just my skin though. I can see my f**king face completely. I haven't been this pretty in my whole life...or at least I haven't felt this pretty. People are stopping and staring at me in the street. I was approached by a model scout this Saturday. I feel great. I would've paid millions if I had it for this experience, but only paid 50 odd euro and it's truly a miracle. I've had bad skin since I was 12, I'm 19 now, so this means a lot to me. I'm not just gushing, I mean every word. Thanks Dan. Your products are AMAZING. Bring down the shipping prices and I can't wait to see what the Jojoba oil and the AHA cream is like :).

Pros:

The cleanser is light
Moisturizer smells nice

Cons:

Didn't work
Patches of skin flaked and peeled off
Acne kept coming and got worse
Bleaches clothes and hair

Did nothing for me. I guess I'm allergic to BP, cause it burned like no other and my face got really, really red and dried out like nothing I've ever seen. Flaked off like snow! Did nothing to stop my cystic acne, may have even made it worse. As a plus, the moisturizer smelt nice and the cleaner was light and neither of these seemed to irritate at all. Tried this cause I didn't have insurance at the time. Did bleach a couple of my shirts and part of an eyebrow, lol! Had to break down and go to the derm instead :(

Pros:

-effective
-clear skin

Cons:

-very dry skin
-time consuming

The Acne.org regimen works. I've tried so many other products but this is far and away the most effective system I've ever tried. My acne started to improve in 1 week. After 2 moths I barley break out anymore. I used to have what seemed like constant breakouts on my forehead but now i almost never do! The regimen has made me feel so much more confident about myself. The only down side is that for the first month my skin was extremely dry, but after the jojoba oil helped that immensely. My sister has been dealing with acne for a couple years and nothing worked for her. When I started the regimen she commented on how good my skin looked and I introduced her to acne.org. The regimen also worked great on her skin. Thank You Dan!

Pros:

Reduction in acne, definitely. But ultimately realized that this was not going to work for my skin. *currently using pHisoderm clinical, Murad's salicylic acid day and night, clinique dramatically different moisturizer, honey facemask, aloe and tea tree oil at night. I've been using Genuine Health's Perfect Skin supplement with MASSIVE improvements.

Cons:

I traded one skin problem for another. I started slowly, but even with that, I had massive dry patches all over my skin. I would stop for a week, start again slowly, and the chronic dry, irritated, itchy, red, flaking skin would return. I have stopped using benzoyl peroxide, and am using tea tree oil instead; times I DO use benzoyl peroxide, I have burnt patches of skin to deal with, even if I use a small amount. Sensitive skin beware.

Firstly, I was not using the actual Regimen, I was using my own tube of benzoyl peroxide, cetaphil cleanser, and a trusted, non-perfumed, oil-free moisturizer. So these results have been generalized. I believe in general, benzoyl peroxide can be problematic. Beware if you have pale, sensitive skin. This gave me more hyperpigmentation than I've ever had; it's been about 5 months since, and it's JUST starting to go away (along with serious outbreaks).
