Love IT!
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! after a couple of days using it my acne seemed to calm down, wasn't flaring up as it use to. the only thing I didn't like is that it dried out my skin and I have VERY oily skin. so I stopped using the moisturizer and instead use Shea butter or my boscia hydrating moisturizer. I have recommended it to my friends who have acne.

Good for young adult acne
Overall I'm liking the results of my face. Everyone around me has notice a difference. I have been using these products since the first week of January and I haven't really notice any new zits popping up. My face is moderate when it comes to acne( I am 21 and have been dealing with acne since I was 12), I would get these huge painful bumps which was one thing that really bothered me the most. I still have some acne scars but I've notice there are minimizing now. The only complaint I have is the moisturizer isn't very moisturizing. I still use it though and just add on my Clinique SPF 20 moisturizer afterwards. I am considering buying the Jojoba oil to add on to the moisturizer to see if that will help. But I'm sure I'll still be using my Clinique moisturizer just because it has an SPF in it.

My Holy Grail
I used to have small zits all over my forehead, cystic acne on the hallows of my cheeks, pimples on my chin and scarring through out my face. Ive been on the regimen for about 4 months and my skin is clear! My scarring is gradually getting better and I've never been happier. Although my only concern is that I cannot apply any type of liquid foundation or bb cream to my face because all of a sudden it looks like my whole face is peeling away. I apply the correct amount of moisturizer and I even attempted to lighten up on the amount. I follow the instructions carefully but I'm beginning to get concerned. Anyone know how to fix this?

Your skin is sloughing off, and while maybe not noticeable to the naked eye, when you put foundation on, these micro flakes get coated and now are enhanced. Some suggestions, try adding AHA/gycolic acid 10% to help your skin appear 'smoother'. Another may be to amp up your moisturizer at night, to help plump up your skin. Use an emollient formulation at night. If your environment is dry--winter weather or indoor climate control, drink more water and use a good moisturizer under your foundation. (Let the moisturizer absorb into the skin, then apply your foundation.) Also, you could try a mineral foundation (get a sample) to see how your skin does. Buff it into the skin with a clean, gentle brush after your moisturizer has had ample time to absorb into your skin. Summary--drink more water; apply more moisturizer (hydrating emollient type); apply moisturizer under your foundation (regardless of the foundation's description; and add AHA/glycolic acid 10% to your routine (see acne.org's directions).

Success in Hartford, WI
After buying and trying several products to no avail, I bought your regimen. After 4 weeks, my daughter has a clear face! We are so very happy to have found this website and the products you sell. The moisturizing lotion does not work well for her skin type, but she has substituted my L'Bri gentle moisturizer and that has done the trick. The Cleanser and Benzoyl Peroxide you sell are the bomb! Thank you!

Miracle worker
This product saved my life and face. 2 summers ago I was using the Proactiv 3 step product and that cleared my skin for the most part but then I thought "since my face isn't breaking out anymore I shouldn't need to clean my face." Well I thought wrong... After about 5 months of not cleaning my face properly it bit me in the face. I started breaking out a little here and there but then summer time came around and I had moderate-severe acne. It was the worst my face has ever gotten. Mainly across my forehead and side temples. I have very oily skin and it's very tough for it to absorb chemicals. I tried everything from natural home remedies to walmarts neutrogena face wash and even back to proactiv. Nothing was working for me and I felt like giving up. But then I did some research and found myself on this site reading through pages upon pages of reviews. At that point I didn't care about the money I just wanted my face to be somewhat clear again. I ordered this product back in the beginning of October and by the end of the month my cystic acne was gone and now I'm left with scars from picking. I just ordered more cleansing product and the AHA product in hopes that it'll help with the scars I have left. As of now I've only been having 2-3 pimples here and there but it's probably from so much stress. All in all, I absolutely love how fast and great this product works for me. It's saved my life and I hope it saves yours.

Patience and Positivity
Just like many people on this site, I've tried everything under the sun, ranging from topicals, antibiotics, birth control, natural remedies, vitamins, to accutane. You name it I've tried it! I tried Dan's regimen in 2008, but at the time I wasn't educated on the importance of moisturizing, so I ended up breaking out so bad that I stopped the regime thinking it was another bust. This year I completed 8 months of actuate and had great success with it, my face cleared up and stayed clear from the 3rd month onward! In February 2015 I got of accutane, then about 2 months later my acne began creeping back, with onesies-twosies here and there, and then a ton at once. I tried to keep my regime simple, but nothing seemed to work. I went back to the derm contemplating going on accutane. The month that I was supposed to start accutane again, I was on here reading reviews of the acne.org regimen, and decided maybe I should give it a try... I mean I've tried everything under the sun with little to no improvement..why not? I ordered the regimen and like most I was apprehensive about the results, but I was finally at a point in my life where I didn't care if there were results or not, I would just do it, just to do it. 13 weeks later, my skin is clear, I get a few pimples here and there, but that doesn't really bother me... but this stuff is great. Don't be rough on your face, follow the steps closely, try to stay patient and positive.

Doesn't REALLY help
I don't know about other people, but I know about me. Ive been using this product for a long time. 2-3 month. But nothing happened. I don't have huge acnes, but I have little acnes and sometimes a big one pops out. I do what the regimen says, wash my face, use the product (I don't really use the moisturizer) and do it twice a day. But It didn't really work. My acnes just went down by it self after 3-4 days leaving a red or black mark for a long time (Looks really ugly). And I still have a bunch of small pimples on my fore head. Don't know why every one says it works like magic...

Go to the doctor. The same sort of thing happened to me. The doctor might prescribe you doxycycline.

The Regimen by Daniel Kern is simply put the best.
Anyone out there who has acne needs to get on this regimen. Three months in all I can say is that it is a miracle cure.

@huccilips. I thought the same. as I have literally tried EVERYTHING there is to clear acne. my skin was pretty bad I had acne on my cheeks and forehead and I've been three months into the regimen and for once I can say this product is amazing! my skin is 100% clear, all I'm left with is a but of scaring but apparantly that will go after a while :)

Good
I've tried Proactive, which is similar to The Regimen, and I got very similar results. It works pretty well, no doubt, but I'd rather have something that I can use long-term and the ingredients, I feel, are not safe for prolong use. When stopping use, my acne got worse, but I feel that it's a chore to rely on ingredients such as Benzoyl Peroxide on a daily basis to rid of acne. A natural remedy would be more beneficial, in my opinion. The Regimen, same as Proactive, also made my face red, which never subsided after continual use. Neither Proactive nor the Regimen rid of my acne - only reduced it by some. I followed the Regimen, as closely as possible, but the results weren't as others had experienced.

The best!
I have been using this product for about 2weeks now and the result is incredible. I'm not gonna lie I did had my miserable moment at first when I started using it. The first week of using my breakout got worse and my skin got really dry and flakey. I wouldn't even want to go outside for people to see my face. I was miserable I got stress out. But after fees day of continued use I saw that my acne was going away and I got less dry and flakey skin. I'm still at the less dry and flakey stage of the regime right now but I think it's worth it. I'm just so happy my pimples or acne is going away after trying numerous products like x-out, proactive and many other drugs store products. This has so far been my best decision ever. I so recommend this product for anyone. All you have to do is stay true to yourself and go through the first month even if you think the product is not working trust me when I said the first week was a killer for me. Some days the flakey ness was so bad that I used a toothbrush to brush it off and it actually did help on my part. for some it might take about two months to see results and I'll tell it's worth the try. I gave this a four yet because my skin is still some dry and flakey but I know it will go away. Thanks and I hope this help someone.
