Pros:

Cheap and effective. Big quantities.

Cons:

Shipping to Canada but still much cheaper than similar drug store products.

At 40 I would have thought I'd not have to deal with acne any more but like many others it's a daily battle. I am very happy to report that after my first big bottle my skin is as clear as it has ever been. I don't follow "The Regimen" as such but twice a day with the treatment plus moisturizer and cleanser once in the morning has been all that's needed. My cystic acne has also been relatively tame, and while things aren't 100% they're far better than they were a year ago. I've had better results with this than any other topical prescription. The moisturizer is a bit weak but I found that using it consistently helped with the dryness over time. If you are prone to rosacea I recommend avoiding the AHA+. Nice stuff but my skin wouldn't tolerate it with any degree of sun exposure. Too bad but my wife loves it. The price paid is Canadian dollars for the Big Kit Plus including shipping.

The Miracle Worker!

I give this 5 stars because I had used this in the past and loved it but somewhere along the way I was misled with youtubers talking about facial cleansing brushes (worst idea ever), retinoids/retinols/vit a derivatives (burned my skin because of hypersensitivity), essential oils (oops! don't use tea tree oil directly), and after having my ego bruised from my embarrassing skin...I went full circle back to the Regimen.

I have since switched out the moisturizer because my skin is sensitive to the formulation. I switched it out to Mario Badescu's Aloe Vera lotion with SPF15 (tiny bottle that lasts a few months).

Old skin:

My old skin had red rashes from my neck, up my chin, to my cheeks and even up the hairline. It was painful and itchy. I even had these weird seborrheic-type bumps all over my skin. Each time I would pop them open, it would be a tiny but firm ball of oil. It smelled bad and I just wanted none of it. My skin looked leathery, inflamed, red and didn't have a smooth texture. I had scars that were discolored and scabs on both cheeks. I would cover it up with makeup and all it did was highlight the damaged skin even more. I thought maybe it was dehydrated - so I tried hyaluronic acid formulations and still nothing. I tried NOT doing anything at all - yeah that didn't do it. I tried the spinning brushes, facial masks, DIY charcoal peels, store bought peels...EVERYTHING. Even my bf started to worry about me. Then I saw an ad for acne.org and remembered how my skin was glowing on the regimen back in the day.

New skin:

My skin is SOFT again! It has a dewy texture and I wish I could show you pictures, but I'm too shy for that. Sometimes, I don't even wear makeup when I run errands. In one word, I would describe this as FREEDOM. I have complete and utter freedom. Even my makeup routine has changed. I use a Fenty foundation, ITcosmetics bronzer, mascara and eye brow tint. That's it!

My steps:

1. In the morning, I wet my face without really touching it. I just enjoy the feeling of the water. Then I pump and lather up the cleanser really good (this is key) and gently wash my face. I BARELY even touch my face. They key is not to irritate your face. That is the ultimate SECRET as to why the regimen is so successful. I stopped bothering my face! At night, the cleanser is a lifesaver because it washes off mascara and foundation without all that scrubbing.

2. I rinse without really touching my skin - just splashing the water on it. Then I use a clean towel to lightly press and let the towel do all the work. NO SCRUBBING.

3. I wait until it's dry before I apply the BP. I started off with a dot on my middle finger pad. Then I increased the dose by measuring halfway on my middle finger.

4. Once the BP has dried, I wash my hands/dry them off...and then apply my Mario Badescu facial lotion. It didn't take much to moisturize. I have to admit, I did use the one that came in the Acne.org kit but it made me itch so bad. I could only do it for a month before I  had to switch.

IMPORTANT: I don't put any other stuff on my face. No oils, no sprays, no nothing! I suggest you follow and stick to the regimen and once you have the basics, you're on your way to beautiful skin.

IT WORKS!

Yes Acne.org WORKS! For years and years I have struggled with cystic acne. I always felt like no one understood me because everywhere I looked for cystic acne products they never sell anything specific in stores for it and home remedies never worked for me. It was so annoying to me to have those hard sometimes blood filled bumps under my skin that always came and went! And nothing I ever used would make them go away, nothing. Finally this summer my acne got worse than I think it ever had, to some you may not think it is that bad from the pictures but to me it felt like it. I was also stressed from college and in an abusive relationship and eating unhealthy and I finally flipped the switch changed my habits and found acne.org online, I also got on a different birth control (just telling you guys this cause these factors may have also helped my skin). I have been using acne.org for only almost 3 months! And as you can tell it's working wonders for me! Don't be worried at first I didnt like it. The benzoyl peroxide made me face super itchy and red and I hated the lotion. I almost stopped and about threw the products away mad, thinking this was just some gimic like most products, but I read that this will happen the first couple weeks. I'm glad I pushed through because now I love the products so much. The face wash clears your pores, makes your face so smooth and feeling so clean but not dried out. The benzoyl peroxide clears my pores reduces redness stopped my cystic acne COMPLETLEY and overall clears your skin. The lotion at first I hated but I love now it leaves my skin so smooth and does not clog your pores at all!! Although I will admit I did change the regimen just a bit. For the most part I follow it to the tee, only thing I do not use a ton of benzoyl peroxide like it says, as you can tell I no longer have acne so I feel like that's unnecessary for me. I use a small amount on my bad areas but that's it. I also only use a pump and a 1/4 pump of lotion although it recommends 2 full pumps, I think that's unnecessary for me. What I also love about this product is if I go to the bar and pass out at my friends or something one night and don't wash my face my skin does not break out!! I love these products lately all my friends family and coworkers rave about how beautiful and clear my skin is and I tell them about these products!! Since I've started this regimen I have not had a single cystic acne break out and that means so much to me. Thank you so much acne.org.

Amazing Results

I started using this regimen out of desperation. About 2 months before I started using this product I had switched from the pill birth control to an IUD. Within a short amount of time the switch had thrown my hormones out of wack. I developed cystic acne and it grew and grew. It got to the point where I would only leave the house to go to classes and that was it. I was incredibly self-conscious of my skin and the acne on it. I was uncomfortable in my own skin and i knew something needed to be done. I started with some topical medicines that didn't work. That is when I started this regimen. And it CHANGED MY LIFE. I have been using it for around 9 months and I can go days with no makeup and feel completely comfortable. I have a combination of dry and oily skin. But, this regimen is a great use for it all. Thank you Acne.org!

The acne will come back
It dries out your skin like crazy, the moisturizer doesn't help much... however it does take away the acne but if you truly want to keep it away you have to make diet changes as well. If you stop using the products the acne will come back. The pro is it takes the acne away the con is the dryness. If you're a girl ur makeup will always look cakey. Perhaps if you find an amazing intense hydrating cream that doesn't clog pores you'll be fine but if not, you're guaranteed very dry skin. Also, I noticed your pores get big. And finally, I've been using the AHA for about 3 months now and my dark spots are the same. I've been using the whole regimen for about 5 months now and it definitely did help with the acne, just don't expect it to completely clear your skin problems you will still get a zit here and there. Personally, I've only been spot treating for the most part and I've noticed breakouts on the areas I don't. It's really frustrating cause I've applied all over again to make it go away but my dryness is back

So far so good
I'm finishing week two of the treatment but before I go into detail I will say a couple of things that I'm doing differently. A) is that I only do the regimen once daily. I've noticed in the past that doing my face routine twice is too much irritation so I only do it at night time before bed and B) I haven't used the moisturizer yet because of all the bad reviews. I will try it though just not sure when. I use unscented lubriderm and C) I don't use the recommended dose for the BP. I only apply it to my acne prone areas and I have not increased dosage. Ok so the first few days in were great. My face was clear for the most part and I had no complaints. Now I am finished week 2 and I have some pimples. I have two that are healing right now and two new ones. Those are just on my acne prone side of my face. With the Bp I have been applying it to where I get the most acne:jaw line/outside of cheeks and chin and in my nose to try and clear pores. I just dab my finger in some bp and apply it. The new pimples that I have are a kind of acne I have never had before. They are hard, red and feel deep and don't really get a white head. I did drain them though but that didn't look good afterwards. I've never had pimples like that so I'm just hoping the bp is just pulling out the bad stuff. That's only on my worst acne prone area though which is my left side of cheek. On my chin I noticed a few small white heads but very small and I am starting to notice on my right side of cheek I think there are a couple big pimples forming and I just started putting bp there. So I'm assuming it's the 'purge' as they call it, and because of that I was scared to go through my entire face purging that's why I've been doing the bp a little different. I also don't apply it to areas that don't get acne. So after the cleanser and the bp then I pour about 5-6 drops of jojoba oil in my palm and then I dip my finger in it and gently rub it onto my face. I've been using jojoba oil before th regimen and it's helped immensely with my oily skin. I have not had oily skin since the day I first used jojoba. After the jojoba oil then I use a small amount of lubriderm. Just a half pump or so and I rub it between my hands and gently apply it to my face. It looks a tad greasy right afterwards but you don't wake up like that by no means. As for dryness, I have not had any. Maybe a tiny bit on my nose but very minimal. I think it's because I use a little bp and the jojoba and lubriderm are great for me. To remove my makeup I use the magic makeup cloth from Sephora. Just lukewarm water on the cloth and gently wipe it off. Been using for 2 years now and works great. Doesn't irritate. I used to be a little rough with my skin which obviously wasn't good. After doing research and realizing that exfoliating your face isn't good I started to try and be as gentle as possible and I noticed a big difference. No redness anymore. I'm not sure when I will try the moisturizer. I read bad reviews so I kept it out of the regimen for now. I figured once my skin is clear after 3 months of using the bp then I will switch to the moisturizer. If I break out then I know it's from that. I was too scared to have the bp purge plus possibly my skin being upset with too many changes and a moisturizer it didn't like/agree with. That's my thinking anyways. I really hope this review helps someone :)

BLESSING
I've been using this regimen for almost a year now and my face is basically clear. I get A few pimples every now and then but nothing like i used It. I have To admit when i first Started this regimen i was A little scared because of the peeling/burning everyone talked about. Honestly, yes your face will peel because of the BP but it's worth it. Once your face gets used to the level of BP, it won't be so bad. I found It was better to use 6 drops of jojoba oil mixed in with moisturizer at night as my face got used to the level of BP. I've been on the regimen since February 2017 and it's now November 2017. I'm so happy to say that this has worked for me and has changed my life. I used To wear foundation all the time freshman-junior year of high school but once i started The regimen the middle of my junior year, i completely Stopped wearing makeup. Believe me, this was so hard because since i had Been wearing makeup for so long, my face was so red and irritated with pimples (not to mention so pale since my foundation had spf and it didn't let my face be exposed to sun). It was something i had To overcome and not only that but it speeds up the process of the regimen actually working. Currently, i barely wear makeup on my face anymore and i feel Comfortable to go to school and other places without it. All I'm left with now is a little bit of redness and scarring but that's nothing that AHA can't fix. This regimen does work and as long as you follow every step religiously you should see results.

Finally! Something that works!
As a teenager, I hardly EVER had acne, with the exception of a few pimples here and there. When I got into my 20's, I started to develop rather severe acne.... and I was absolutely MISERABLE. I suffered from blackheads, big white heads, and deep, painful red ones too. I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it, and I mean EVERYTHING. I tried many other popular acne regimens, I tried store brand cleansers and scrubs, I tried more natural routes like essential oils and natural sulfur soaps! I even tried two different prescriptions, a topical antibiotic, and eventually a pill (Doxycycline Monohydrate), and NONE OF IT WORKED! I had completely given up. I stumbled across the acne.org regimen by chance... and figured I would give it a last-ditch-effort to clear myself up. I have been on the regimen for about 3 months now, and I have to say... I am so impressed! My skin has totally cleared up and I have hardly any new acne at all! (Except a few during that time of the month.) My skin has made AMAZING progress and I am so happy! Unfortunately, I still have some post-acne hyper-pigmentation, but it is slowly starting to fade too! I can not recommend this regimen ENOUGH! The first few weeks (And month really...) were very difficult, and I almost felt like giving up! But I read a lot of people had struggled through the first few weeks too, so I just pushed through it, and I am so glad I did! If you are considering trying this, just do it! It will be frustrating at first, and during the first few weeks-month, the dry skin is itchy, and the progress isn't huge.... but trust me... it's worth it. Keep pushing through. You will be so glad you did. Acne.org, THANK YOU! You have a customer for LIFE.

Success
I've had acne for 6 years and am now 21 years old. I suffered with whiteheads, bumpy uneven texture, blackheads, spots that sit under the skin and hyper pigmentation, across my face. Over the years I've tried many drug store products and been prescribed antibiotics but have never seen as big an improvement, in my skin, as I have had with the acne.org regimen. In the first 2-3 days I DID breakout in areas I would not normally, so much so that I almost stopped, but luckily I persevered and by day 7 my skin had cleared. I have been on the regimen for 2 1/2 weeks and my skin is looking the best it has done in a long time, which I did not think was possible. My complexion is smooth and even, and I only have a few old spots, which are fading. I never used to be able to leave the house without makeup, but now I feel more confident and am able to walk around bare faced, since my skin is so much improved. I have been following the regimen very closely, as the website does advice you to do so, never missing a day. The length of time one may see an improvement may differ from person to person, but I would strongly recommend trying this product if you suffer with acne. To finish with, my advice would be to persevere if you do get an initial breakout, and to be generous with the moisturiser, as my skin is dryer, but this is manageable as I do not suffer with any flaking. I am glad I found this regimen and wish others luck if they choose to try it!!!
