Best acne treatment I've ever used
I am a 33 year old female and ever since college I have struggled with acne. It started with the cystic kind and more recently I was just plauged by angry breakouts at least once a week. I tried proactive, Obagi, using a clairsonic, etc and have never been able to really cure my problems. I found "the regimen" online and based on the glowing reviews thought I would give it a try. Even before I received the products I started using the process of gently washing my face and even doing that seemed to help. I started using the regimen in late June and right now it is November and quite literally I have never been happier with my skin. Within a week my skin was less angry and even though I may occasionally get a blemish now (which is rare - my skin is clear - blackheads are gone - skin is not red, etc) it is mild and clears up within a day or two. After the first month of use, I added the AHA and REALLY like this product. I do also use the jojoba oil and would absolutely recommend that. I can't say enough about what the regimen has done for my life. My skin feels great to the touch and I have so much confidence I can even leave the house without makeup on and I don't feel bad at all. GIVE THIS A TRY!!

Pros:

well after the moisturizer, well after the burning it actually felt pretty nice. it made me realize benzoyl peroxide is not nice to sensitive skin cystic acne isn't all that bad anymore

Cons:

acne still persists but smaller, but I am still persistent for clear skin

ummmm finding acne treatments is like a fruit machine you could find the lowest rating product and it might work on you. its really a matter of never giving up i used to use skinid it was wonderful and it only has a three star. sadly it got discontinued. so now i am continuing my quest of being a confident teenager

Pros:

It works. I don't follow the rules faithfully either. If I see a clogged pore, I'll still pick and pop. But as long as I immediately wash my face and put some treatment on, it doesn't turn into a red pimple. I have no acne, and I haven't said that since before I was 12, and I'm 26 now. I forgot what it is like to walk out of the house without putting makeup on.

Cons:

The first two weeks were tough. My skin itched so badly, and it was red and flaky. This whole process takes a long time, with a lot of hand washing between each step which is a pain. Be sure not to rub the moisturizer under your eye, because it will transfer the treatment, and dry burning under-eye is miserable. My blackheads are still loud and proud on my nose. Not sure now to get rid of those rascals. The shipping takes over a week, and it's kind of expensive if you dont do the automatic order

Before starting The Regimen I had used pretty much every item in the acne aisle at Target, and some prescription medication and home remedies. No matter what I used I consistently had up to 16 blemishes at a time. After the first application of The Regimen I knew it was working, mainly because of the terrible burning, flaking, and itching. But all acne production stopped. Immediately. Now 6 months later I have NO acne, other than blackheads. It has truly changed my life

Pros:

stick with the regimen it works.
each step is awesome and after a few weeks will make ur skin glow.. in a good way. No side effects like accutane

Cons:

the first week or so is brutal.
first two weeks you will experience itchiness, redness and discomfort but stick with the regimen as the website lays out.

It works!! im pale and have ultra sensitive skin. I was on accutane so for those who were on that ur skin will not get nearly as dry as the accutane me it, and it doesnt affect ur lips like accutane. My skin did get itchy and red but the moisturizer and aha are awesome. This regimen makes my skin glow. Im acne free with a pimple or two maybe once every 6 months. For the first time in my life people complement me on my skin and dont believe me when i tell them i suffered from acne.

Was using Mario Badescu for 2 years, starting breaking out out of the blue. Could not control acne. Tried this product, love it. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!

Pros:

-IT WORKS! FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS!

Cons:

-A little drying
-May make skin look a bit darker after application...

I've been battling acne since 13 (21 now). I've tried so many different products ranging from facial scrubs, to Proavtiv, to herbal medicines. My skin isn't awful, but I always had at least one or two large, painful blemishes and couldn't confidently leave my home without makeup. This is the first product to ACTUALLY WORK. While I still get a few small pimples every so often, I'm more or less clear. Clearer than I've been since pre-puberty! Try this product, but follow the directions exactly!

Pros:

really effective
value for money
safe ( if used as directed)
fragrance free
dries up pimples fast

Cons:

very drying
time consuming
BP seems to make my skin darker
can't wear make up during initial stages (eyes and lips are ok, but forget foundation, blush, etc)
faith in regimen is a MUST!
skin may get WORSE before it gets better

My acne cleared up within 2 weeks! i am now adjusting to the dryness that the BP is causing. definitely worth a try especially those who seem to have lost all hope for clearer skin. just follow directions and youll be fine

-Easy to apply
-Odorless

Cons:

-BP can make skin very dry but if you stick with it and use jojoba oil with the moisturizer, you should be fine

I used SO MANY different products to clear up my acne but nothing worked better than the Regimen. At first, my skin was really dry and itchy from the BP but I kept on using the products and I'm glad I did! My skin slowly started clearing up and after 2.5 months, my acne was completely gone! Pros:

It Works! After soooo many years of fighting acne with doctors and prescriptions this simple routine has cleared me right up. I can't express how happy I am. I started with the suggested drug store treatments, and once I saw that they worked I ordered The Regimen kit. I have tried EVERYTHING and I am so happy that I gave this treatment a shot. Please try it, it could be the life changer you are looking for. It changed my life at 29 and now at 30 I feel beautiful and confident again!
