Tea tree oil is defined by international standard ISO 4730 (2004) (“Oil of Melaleuca, Terpinen-4-ol type”), which specifies levels of 15 components, which are needed to define the oil as “tea tree oil.”

Among over 98 compounds contained in the oil, terpinen-4-ol is responsible for most of the antimicrobial activity.

Pros:

shrinks already exsisting zits and stops new ones from forming.

Cons:

no cons for me!!

I wash my face with a mild cleanser then drench my skin in 100% pure tea tree oil. I had moderate acne on my chin and now not a single spot! This stuff is amazing!!!

Pros:

Supposedly keeps lice away, if put in the hair.

Cons:

Since I started using a facial soap containing Tea Tree Oil, my cheeks are constantly red. I look embarrassingly bad. Figured out it was caused by the Tea Tree Oil.

Proceed with caution, unless you want to look like a radish! Seriously.

Pros:

it makes pimples smaller and prevents new ones from forming

Cons:

smell it smells like australia ,it also burns a bit when its put on but afer using benziyl peroxide for a year i am used to stinging skin

yes i reccomend it and just like benzoyl peroxide it takes a while to start working but people with severe acne shouldn`t use it i only get a few whiteheads

Pros:

gets rid of zits

Cons:

Tea Tree Oil wipes from the Body Shop are kind of pricey

I tend to get really large zits, usually right before my period, and I noticed that tea tree oil really helps prevent those zits. I've used the tea tree oil wipes from the Body Shop, as well as their tea tree oil cleanser (the smell isn't as strong as using the oil straight from the bottle).

Pros:

It clears some of your acne up

Cons:

smells terrible and blinds your eyes a bit

The bottom line is it does help with small pimples. It worked for me a treat. It cleared some of my pimples up but not all. If you have very severe acne I do not reccomend this but its good for people with tiny spots.

While tea tree oil may be helpful for some, one should use caution before implementing this remedy into a daily regiment.

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

it smells horrible, it dried up my skin, and it didn't work.

Pros:

It is very good in the fact that it dries up the pimple, and it makes sure that it does not have a chance to get worse.

Cons:

The smell isn't so bad, you get used to it. However it dries up the skin, and the area around the affected location where the tea tree oil was applied. It also makes it red.

It is good, and did not let me down, it did however make my face dry, itchy and red. can be sometimes emberassing! BUT OVERALL IT WORKS! AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!
