Pros:

good for using as a mouthwash not acne

Cons:

-generated the worst breakout ever
-clogged pores
-causes acne inflammation

i tried this stuff reading all the good reviews online. i bought the 100% pure tea tree oil from amazon. so i diluted it 3/1 ratio of oil and water because this is a potent oil. it will literally burn your nose hairs off. anyway, i decided to spot treat on a couple of pimples that were premature and underdeveloped. in just a few hours, it literally transformed my zits into monsters..big, painful, red, inflamed, infected and embarrassing. it didn't even come to a head until i put NEOSPORIN on them. that was a lot of fun popping those beasts :( it's been a week and i'm now coping with the aftermath. to be honest, it could be looking a lot worse. i'm very grateful to come across neosporin (cream). it definitely helped expediting the healing process. what did i learn here? tto did not work for me because i'm sensitive to putting on oil pore clogging substance on my FACE.

Pros:

clears skin up, makes skin feel soft and smooth, relives redness, is a better antibacterial product than any other I have tried, dries up pimples fast, if you have a scab on your face from where you have picked at a pimple it help it heal faster.

Cons:

Smells really strong and foul, the smell will stay with you for maybe an hour after you use it. burns slightly.

This product is great. What I do is I take my face wash, which contains green tea and witch hazel, and put some on my hands, just enough that you need to wash your face, and then I add just one drop of TTO then I mix them together and apply to my face and wash, when I am done washing my face I tone it then moisturize it with an oil free moisturizer. it works so great just after the first time I used TTO I saw imedent results. my skin was so much smoother and softer and the acne quickly dried up. I use TTO twice a day one in the morning when i wash my face and at night when i wash my face. yeah the smell is strong but it is well worth it.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Didn't work as spot treatment
Poor smell
Expensive

Unfortunately for me, I used this when I was still trying to find an OTC treatment for my acne. I know it works in some people and they swear to it, but it simply didn't work for me. I used it as a spot treatment continually for about 3 weeks and did not see an improvement in the time or the severity of the acne. I think this just shows how everyone's skin is a little different and what works for some is a huge disappointment for others.

PLEASE READ BELOW Bottom line, my friend had very severe acne. She tried this product and it worked really well for her, she suggested that I should try it out, so I did. I went to the drug store and got a tiny bottle for over $10.00. So I thought, "This product better work." I opened it at home and my first thought, "THIS SMELLS HORRIBLE." The smell is awful, it's like worse than vinegar. But I was so desperate to get rid of my acne. I've tried -Spectro Jel -Spectro Dry Skin Jel -Spectro Lotion -Neostrata washes -Garnier Toner -Balea Scrub -Spectro Moisturizer -Proactiv (WORST DECISION) -A very expensive product I cant remember what it's called. -Clinique -Home remedies -TON MORE So I looked past the awful smell hoping this would really work. As soon as I put it on, my face burned. It burned for like an hour. And then when I woke up in the morning, there was literally flakes on my skin that I could PEEL OFF. I started to moisturize my skin and this product just did not work. No hope. I wouldn't recommend this. I guess it works for some people, but definitely not for me. If you have sensitive skin, don't use this. many of these reviews will be positive because I read them before I bought this product to. But take my advice, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Save your money, and time. It's not very effective. And I wouldn't want anyone to go through this awful smell and awful product. Ew.
