great spot treatment
I use this oil as a spot treatment to treat either the spot or the area on my face, I do not recommend using this all over the face or straight from the bottle, you should only use this oil dilute with oil on a cotton pad. this is because this oil contains high antiseptic and antifungal properties, that reduce the acne bacteria that is building up inside the pore by drawing it out and drying it up. so if you have had a reaction to tea tree oil where you have experience more whiteheads where there had previously been lumps/redness do not worry, this is just the tea tree oil drawing out the infection and getting rid of it, you will need to keep using it for a couple of nights to get maximum results.

Tea Tree Oil Really Rocks
I really love tea tree Oil as they are so natural and don't have any complications. Organic Tea tree oils works both as beauty regimen and as a healing or say powerful gem that must be kept in every home. I would say that I am not really the type of guy who has been into acne or any other fungal infections but I would always keep one at home. My perfect buddy for face problems is always Keeva Tea Tree Oil because it never fail to amaze me but of course Organic Tea tree Oil is always there for me as well for some other skin issues that I may and my family may have. I would say, it is always worth keeping.

I have mixed feelings regarding TTO. i'm use 100% tea tree oil, undiluted. on behalf of me it appears to figure best on either cysts terribly timely in their life cycle, or when they need popped. It appears that it would filter the matter cyst however a lot of very little cysts pop where I place it. i do not assume it agrees with my skin or i'll be allergic to that, that may be a shame as a result of i prefer natural treatments!

I have gone through a lot of different products in my life but I haven't really found one that I really like. When you first put it on it does have a cooling affect, but it subsides fairly quickly. It really leaves my skin so soft and not oily the next day. I normally exfoliate my skin daily but with this oil I don't have to. I am very happy with this tea tree oil and will continue to use it to fix my skin issues.

Reduced pimples and scars! (Diluted with coconut oil and vitamin E)
I've never had clear skin, but in the past year it's been way worse! I've tried so many different things and nothing has been working. My doctor prescribed me Differin but my health coverage won't kick in for a few months, so that caused me to look for natural ways to heal my skin. This week I picked up some tea tree oil because I wanted to experiment with natural ingredients. I melted about 1tbsp of coconut oil and added 15 or so drops of tea tree oil and quite a lot of vitamin E oil (didn't measure). I cleaned my face with my regular cleanser and put a small amount of my tea tree oil mixture on the painful pimples in my face along with some moisturizer. I also put some on a dark scar on my knee that I got last summer. When I woke up, I saw a dramatic difference -the red painful pimples on my chin were gone and starting to heal. My scar is now half as dark as it was, which shocked me. It's been just 3 days and my skin isn't perfect, but I'm starting to have hope that some day I will have clear skin! I think having a light oil to dilute the tea tree oil and thin out the thick vitamin E oil increases the effectiveness of both ingredients on skin . I've used vitamin E on its own before and it didn't work half as well. So far, the tea tree oil has been amazing for getting rid of pimples. Just remember to clean the grime of the day off first. :)

Pros:

It works.
Natural.
Affordable.

Cons:

Stings.

I used to use The Body Shop tea tree oil as it's recommended by many friends but I recently realised it's only 15% and went to get a 'regular' 100% Australian tree tree oil from the drugstore. The 100% one is awesome. It works so much faster yet the amount of stinging is not worse. I see my pimples drying up in 2days and the redness is reduced greatly when I apply some TTO before bed. I always read great reviews about TTO but was unsure why it didn't work too well for me, I guess since I am not allergic to it, using a higher concentration is better. Beware of skin sensitivity and allergies before using as seen in others' reviews. Patch-test or use tiny bits first.

I was reading the reviews listed before I decided to post my own review or not and I am shocked! *******YOU MUST DILUTE THIS OIL WITH WATER BEFORE APPLYING!!!!********* Tea Tree Oil is very potent. The reason why so many reviews say it makes your skin bright red is because they have actually burned their skin on accident!! :( dilute, dilute, dilute! I mix Apple Cider Vinegar with water and a few drops of Tea Tree Oil, and use this after I wash my face. Another way I use this oil is after showers before bedtime! After a steamy shower I soak a clean washcloth in hot water (but not too hot to burn your skin, be careful!). After wringing out the excess water, and you're left with a damp washcloth, put a few drops of the Tea Tree Oil on the cloth. While your face is still warm and wet from your shower, place the warm damp cloth on your face and just breath. It's aromatherapy and seriously doing work on your face at the same time :) Wipe down with the ACV, water, and oil mix and you are moisturized and smooth and NATURALLY beautiful :) For spot treatments- dilute, but take a Q-tip and hold the tip on the head/main problem zit. Don't spread the oil around an entire area. Take the word "spot" treatment very literally. Wishing you all happy, healthy days :) peace~

Pros:

Clears up acne flare ups fast and gently
Tingly sensation
Leaves skiing feeling refreshed
100% natural product that actually works

Cons:

May dry your skin

I've had moderate acne since I was 12 yrs old. Now as a 34 yr old I have learned to control it but after having had a baby recently I've been getting some flare ups. I also have an 11 yr old daughter that is suffering immensely with acne on her face, back and chest. I tried Proactive for a while when I was in college and it was worthless, actually made my skin worst. I bought it for my daughter thinking that after a couple of yrs the product could have improved. I was so disappointed. The product actually burned my daughter's skin and made her acne worst. Someone recommended on a blog a mask for acne that included Tea Tree Oil, brown sugar and honey. I had Tea Tree Oil that I had used on my pimples before and of course the brown sugar and honey I already had in my pantry. So I prepared the mask and I fell in love with the smell. The strong smell of the oil blends with the honey and smells yummy! So I tried the mask on my daughter and on the second day I could already see the acne drying out, the redness and dark spots fading and her skin looks very healthy. I use it every day and my face has never felt and looked this good. I used it both as a mask and a scrub. I also apply the oil directly on my daughter's back and chest which are less sensitive than her face and the acne is fading considerably. No OTC can prevent acne, look into your diet, genes, stress and the products you use on your body to find the culprit or culprits. I am coaching my daughter into eating less processed sugars, ei., sodas, candies, milk chocolate, etc., washing her face, chest and back at least twice a day, eating healthy especially lots of fruits and veggies and drinking lots of water which helps the body eliminate impurities. Tea Tree Oil helps control acne but maybe strong on its own and may dry the skin so mixing it with other products might help make it more tolerable.

Pros:

-not too expensive
-works to dry up and prevent pimples
-does not prolong red marks like BP

Cons:

-takes longer than BP
-the smell!
-gives an icy feeling for about 5 minutes that isn't completely horrible

I mix my TTO with witch hazel to create a 5% solution. I apply it twice to my face with a cotton ball after cleansing. I really like this stuff. It dries up acne and I believe it prevents it too. It takes a while, but the fact that it doesn't prolong red marks is worth it. Also make sure you are in a well-ventilated area and dispose of your cotton balls because the smelly realllyyy lingers!

100% effective, 100% natural, 100% worth trying!
This stuff has been a potent but definite Lifesaver for me. I have recently started suffering with what is now the most chronic onset of hormonal cystic acne on my jawline and chin area. Acne has been the bane of my life since 14 (now aged 38) but I have NEVER had the level of intensity or this type of acne until a few months ago. It has crushed my confidence and I only leave the house when I have to. I was worried about using 100% Tea Tree Oil neat. But my pain threshold is high and my skin has become accustomed to the powerhouse that is Tea Tree Oil, after consistent and careful use over the last few months. What is great about this stuff is that whilst, I am now able to use it neat (and have done for several weeks), the bacteria baddies implicated in causing my acne don't seem to have developed a tolerance which means it continues to be as effective as it was from my first use. I never experience burning or redness, provided that the skin I apply it to is not broken or already irritated. I use clean fingers to apply sparingly to each separate blemish, avoiding unaffected areas of my face. The smell doesn't bother me and even if it did, I would declare that 8 out of 10 blemishes being either greatly reduced or dried up and shrunk to a pin head the next morning worth possibly smelling a bit like a eucalyptus munching Koala bear. I would NOT recommend that ANYONE use this neat as it is very strong. However, even diluting it with water or a carrier oil would be beneficial and you could possibly increase the concentration over time. At £2.99 for a 30ml bottle from Savers, lasts me ages ( despite using it neat), so diluting it would mean it could last you for months. If you've exhausted OTC or prescribed topical treatments, I genuinely recommend Tea Tree Oil, however you decide to apply it.

Pros:

Treats acne & scars!
Moisturizing
Very gentle
Weather-proofs your skin

Cons:

Messes w/foundation make-up

Hallelujah it works! I've had severe acne for years now, Accutane made it go away for a while (terrible side affects) but it came back within a year, and now this oil is miraculous!! The weather-proofing against the soul-rending cold in AK is wonderful too! I'm using it at a time when my acne would be at full force, but it's actually GOING AWAAAY!!! Fingers crossed, I hope it helps long term! (How cute it the rating system, what are they, dancing thumbs? Aaaaaw)
