Pros:

-Dries the area affected instantaniously.
-Clears and fades scaring, and red marks.

Cons:

-Although drying is a pro, it is also a con. some may be embarrassed if overdrying occurs. when in doubt, moisturize.
-Redness

I sufferd from severe cystic acne, I use Stievamycin from November through April. It was a long stretch with doubt along the way. But now my skin is almost perfectly clear. And those who worry of getting rid of acne scars after the fact, this product both fights acne and reduces redmarks and scarring. I highly reccomend it to anyone.

Pros:

Clears up acne

Cons:

- makes skin dry, peels skin away, burns on occasion

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I have oily skin and complicated acne. I use this product every night and it has done wonders to my face. For the first time in a long time, I can actually see a clear face! I highly recommend this product to those seeking a solution to your acne problems, works like a charm. I don't care about my skin peeling, I apply it at night and in the morning I wash my face with Olay Daily Facials and voila...clear beautiful skin!

Pros:

Kept my really oily face at bay so far

Cons:

None yet

Stievamycin Regular was prescribed to me by my doctor along with Minocyclin 100mg. But I decided to use Stievamycin before using the antibiotic. So we'll see what happens.

Pros:

I had mild acne on my forhead and cheek area, and it worked very well at drying up the area as well as the acne.

Cons:

May sting a little, area will feel tight. Moisturize well after!

It's a great product for someone who has mild - not severe- acne.

Pros:

Burns and kills bacteria of existing pimples.
Free with certian health plans

Cons:

Drys and burns skin
causes flakes on visable skin
only works in the beggining

I certainly dislike this product. It worked and got rid of a few pimples in the beggining, but hasn't done much at all. Basically all this product does is burn and dry out your skin, while burning very small and few pimples along the way. When it burns the pimples, it leaves scars and dark marks. I've used this product for abo0ut 5 months now, and my acne has improved by like, 20%. (I have very sensetive&pale skin- I am 1/4 albino- so maybe it is my skin, after all everyone is different.) So, I say TRY the product at least, and see what it does.

Pros:

Works quickly to attack new pimples

Cons:

Dryness
Stinging upon application

I have been using this product for 2 weeks and so far love it! I used to get mad break outs right around my "time-of-month" and after using this for only 2 weeks even through my "time-of-month" have been quite pimple free, I only got 2 pimples and they went away after 1 night! I use the regular formula, I read on here that it is much easier to apply if you wash your face then leave it a little damp as well as your hands. It spreads much easier this way and you also don't use as much product. It does sting a little when I apply it but it doesn't bother me enough to stop using it. I cleanse my face with regular hand soap at night then apply. In the morning I wash my face with Clinique face lotion, extra mild. Then when I have a shower I exfoliate with Clinique 7 Day scrub cream, it's very gentle and I find it is effective in removing the flakes. I finish up with Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisterizer. My skin has never been so soft!

Pros:

Gets rid of all pimples and evens skin tone.

Cons:

Stings

Be Patient, it takes a while to work. Acne comes right back after you stop using it even for 3 days.
