Pros:

AMAZING! First product I have ever tried that cleared it within 2 weeks....didnt irritate my skin...and made it soft. It's the PERFECT product. And I've tried almost everything.

Cons:

I do still have a few tiny pimples on my forehead and other areas...but VERY few...and they seem to be still disappearing every day

BUY IT! It's worth it. It works best with clindamycin phosphate I found. Put the clindamycin phosphate on in the morning, wait a little..then put on the sodium sulfacetamide. Same for before bed. It's amazing.

Pros:

Dramatically reduced irritation and helped my breakouts heal faster. I'm a compulsive picker, so this really helped calm things down and prevent scabbing, which in turn helped me stop picking. Didn't make me peel or sting my face like other topicals.

Cons:

Sometimes balls up under moisturizer if you don't wait long enough. In my case, I just stopped moisturizing because I have oily skin. If you don't remember to shake the bottle up, you don't get as much effect.

I am absolutely IN LOVE with this stuff. I have used Retin-A, Tazorac, Ziana, and Differin, and this is the first one that helped. All the others kept my skin peeling, red, angry, and scabby and stung my face when I applied them. You only need a tiny bit of sodium sulfacetamide (Klaron) to cover the entire face, and there is NO stinging, even on the open blemishes that I had picked at. The second day I could tell a major difference and things have continued to improve. I will keep using this as long as I possibly can because it actually calms things down instead of making them worse! I don't know why more derms don't prescribe this.

Pros:

Both prevents and treats acne. I'm barely breaking out anymore with this stuff and it's great for killing big zits. Also my skin is less oily during the day.

Cons:

A bit drying - my skin is flaky without moisturizer but its not nearly as terrible as it was with Benzaclin or benzyl peroxide.

I went to one dermatologist who prescribed and rubbed benzaclin all over my face even after I told her i'd used it before and it irritated me and made my skin worse. Then she prescribed me a 5% benzyl peroxide wash... how is that different? So we cancelled our next appointment and no I'm going to the dermatologist my mother went to in the 80's. Well, after telling him that my skin does NOT react well with benzyl peroxide, he prescribed me Sulfacet-R to use at night with the acne-aid soap bar. Both are a bit drying so I use my EmerginC cleanser in the morning but WOW is my skin clearing up! I never thought it would be possible! I highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive or dry skin, it really is a miracle worker because it is so gently. Please try this!

Pros:

Cleared up my acne when NOTHING Else would.

Cons:

nothing.

I paid $7.50 for a bottle of this stuff. Let me tell you...I have tried EVERYTHING to clear up the constant pimples around my mouth. I have a strict cleansing, deep cleaning, exfoliating, masks, moisturizing, routine every day and NOTHING would work. I tried some of the most expensive brands from Sephora, C.O. Bigelow, even Neiman Marcus. Even classic Neutrogena and Clean & Clear would not work for my pimples. Well, after getting sooo incredibly fed up I went on an internet search and found this review board & the incrediable reviews for Klaron. I'm on birth control & really didnt want to take an oral med that may mess with my BC and possibly my body in general. So after reading the reviews of topical Klaron, I brought the info to my derma & said, "GIVE TO TO ME". *ALL MY ACNE HAS CLEARED UP*. AMAZING. It's cheaper than anything else i've used. I guess my health care is pretty good and it covers it. I use it twice a day and the results are REMARKABLE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*****

Pros:

It works pretty well, its pretty cheap and you see results eventually.

Cons:

Theres not alot in a tube, and it takes at least a month to see any real results starting to happen. If your not going to be wearing it during the day its better because its a bit oily.

I would reccomend this product to people with light to moderate ance that dont need to see immediate results. Its a really good topical cream for the price and ive been using it for over a year and im going to stick with it.

Pros:

Seems to prevent new pimples from forming and gets rid of existing acne overnight.

Cons:

NONE. Some people complain of the smell but I really don't smell anything.

This stuff is amazing!! I use twice a day (morning and night). When i wake up in the morning, the pimples I had that previous night are either completely gone or barely even there.

Pros:

It worked immediately after first application. NO side-effects at all and cheap. It resolved ALL problems I had with my skin. There is no smell at all.

Cons:

NOTHING

No more oily skin, no more breakouts, no more excemas, no more rashes. Nothing has EVER cleared up my skin before. But Sodium Sulfacetamide did. No redness .. no dryness .. nothing! Even my pores are getting smaller and clean. Sodium Sulfacetamide is a solution to ALL the problems I had with my skin. And I don't even experience ANY side effect at all eventhough I have the worst, most sensitive skin EVER. I used to have extremely oily skin with breakouts and even some excemas (seborrhoic dermatitis). Everything I used before always made my skin even worse than it already was .. burning .. red .. swollen .. horrible. All gone now. I only paid $5 because that's my co-payment. My insurance pays the rest :) TRY IT OUT!! You won't regret it. I haven't had such a wonderful skin in a long time. I'm applying the lotion twice a day.
