Pros:

It worked immediately after first application. NO side-effects at all and cheap. It resolved ALL problems I had with my skin. There is no smell at all.

Cons:

NOTHING

No more oily skin, no more breakouts, no more excemas, no more rashes. Nothing has EVER cleared up my skin before. But Sodium Sulfacetamide did. No redness .. no dryness .. nothing! Even my pores are getting smaller and clean. Sodium Sulfacetamide is a solution to ALL the problems I had with my skin. And I don't even experience ANY side effect at all eventhough I have the worst, most sensitive skin EVER. I used to have extremely oily skin with breakouts and even some excemas (seborrhoic dermatitis). Everything I used before always made my skin even worse than it already was .. burning .. red .. swollen .. horrible. All gone now. I only paid $5 because that's my co-payment. My insurance pays the rest :) TRY IT OUT!! You won't regret it. I haven't had such a wonderful skin in a long time. I'm applying the lotion twice a day.

Fantastic
I was taken off of a strong antibiotic for my acne (Solodyn) because it was too dangerous to take for more than a year. I was put on a much weaker and much less efficient antibiotic. My skin started looking the worst it has ever looked, even though I was on Tazorac and Aczone as well. Marks, horrible texture, cysts, dark spots, and breakouts regularly. Finally, I was put on the Sulfacetamide skin wash, and over the course of 6 months, all of those problems have practically vanished. None of the other products helped me as much as this $15 skin wash has. I have found that you HAVE to make sure you exfoliate every once in awhile, or else the product works a lot less. I still use Doxycycline, Tazorac, and Aczone, just because my acne is so severe, but part of me thinks that I might not even need to be on those anymore.

Pros:

Cleared up my acne when NOTHING Else would.

Cons:

nothing.

I paid $7.50 for a bottle of this stuff. Let me tell you...I have tried EVERYTHING to clear up the constant pimples around my mouth. I have a strict cleansing, deep cleaning, exfoliating, masks, moisturizing, routine every day and NOTHING would work. I tried some of the most expensive brands from Sephora, C.O. Bigelow, even Neiman Marcus. Even classic Neutrogena and Clean & Clear would not work for my pimples. Well, after getting sooo incredibly fed up I went on an internet search and found this review board & the incrediable reviews for Klaron. I'm on birth control & really didnt want to take an oral med that may mess with my BC and possibly my body in general. So after reading the reviews of topical Klaron, I brought the info to my derma & said, "GIVE TO TO ME". *ALL MY ACNE HAS CLEARED UP*. AMAZING. It's cheaper than anything else i've used. I guess my health care is pretty good and it covers it. I use it twice a day and the results are REMARKABLE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*****

Pros:

Seems to prevent new pimples from forming and gets rid of existing acne overnight.

Cons:

NONE. Some people complain of the smell but I really don't smell anything.

This stuff is amazing!! I use twice a day (morning and night). When i wake up in the morning, the pimples I had that previous night are either completely gone or barely even there.

Pros:

This product is the best at clearing up zits quickly. I use it every other night, and when I wake up, any pimples have dried up, and my pores have opened up. It's eliminated my need for antibiotics.

Cons:

It has a rather strong smell, so it can really only be used at night. That also means that, if you are an evening showerer and you don't actually rinse it all of in the morning, that you will walk around with a slight brimstone odor.

One of the most effective acne meds I've ever used.

Pros:

It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight and red and irritated like Benzoyle Peroxide does. It's really gentle and even tones down the look of red marks. Goes on smooth too.

Cons:

A LITTLE bit drying the first week, but once my skin adapted to it, it was fine.

I am currently using the Canadian version which is Sulfacte - R, so it's a little different from Klaron but generally is the same thing. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and so far, its a WAY better alternative to BP. BP just made my skin way too red and too dry and irritated. Honestly, I felt like a freak whenever I left my house because of how red and irritated I was. I heard about this stuff on this site and begged my doctor to give me a prescription. So far it has been working fairly well, I still break out but it WAS just my period week, and I usually get a breakout before then. It's helped a lot and since I've only been using it for three weeks and it usually takes about 2 months to see a products full potential,I'm gonna stick on it. so far its the best thing ive used, give it a try if you have mild/somewhat moderate acne.

Pros:

It works! My 9 month post-accutane skin was starting to get mild breakouts again. Within a month, my skin has the same glow it used to...
It didn't work for me pre-accutane (with more severe acne), but it clears up mild acne unbelievably

Cons:

Can make skin a little too dry sometimes...but then I just cut down to once a day or every other day

Love it! Really happy that I've found a maintenance therapy that doesn't make me red and peely (like taz and retin-a). It might not work for severe acne, but if you have oily skin and always a couple of small breakouts, give this a try!
