Pros:

Nice shave. No irritation. Better then Gillette Fusion, cheaper then Fusion too I think.

Cons:

Don't think there is any. Except cartridges still aren't cheap.

Even though the Fusion (similar to Mach3 I think), has 5 blades, the SensorExcel's 2 blades do a much better job of shaving and less irritation. I can even get that facial hair off my chin very well, nice and smooth, not like other razors.

Pros:

In my opinion, these is easily the best razor on the market. I have used the three blade razors, five blade razors, etc. This one gives you a closer, better shave and is far less irritating. Since irritation can cause acne, you want to avoid it. Use this razor and you will have a close shave and less acne. I also recommend using it with Men's Neutrogena Razor Defense Shave Gel, which is fantastic and prevents breakouts related to shaving.

Cons:

The con is that the actual razor handle is not available in many stores anymore. But it is in some areas of the U.S. as well as online at [link removed].

The bottom line is that this is the best razor you can buy. It will give you a close shave and prevent acne (because it prevents skin irritation).

Pros:

Good quality razor for money. For sensitive skin I recommend the Gillette Sensor Excel or gillette Mach 3.Nice and light to work with.

Cons:

As usual blades are a bit expensive but still a lot cheaper than the four and five blade cartridges.

My tip is shave in the bath not at the sink.Wash face with ultra mild soap wash off,put a little olive oil ie thin layer over face and neck and then use gillette fusion ultra protection shaving gel on top gives good glide shave with the grain in light short strokes, never, never shave against the grain you will get razor burn and rash. After you shave if you move your hand across the grain you will feel it still little rough, thats correct.remember a mans face after shaving should not be as smooth as babys bum its not natural. If like me you have really sensitive skin try the above recommendation and also if you dont have to shave every day DONT, let skin recover before next round.Ypu might also want to try shaving at night rather first thing in morning.I do and it works for me.You most likely will always have a bit of burn after shaving thats the type of skin we have and there is nothing else out there thats going to stop it.Just take it slow and try the above method it can only help.

Pros:

no irratation, good shaving. gets every nook and crany

Cons:

blades are pricey, after a whle causes irratation(thats wen you change blades)

ive used 4 blade, 3 blades and now 2 blades. i used to get bad razor burn form the 3 and 4 blades so i switched. i must say thats a thing of the past. though i dont get as close a shave anymore. still i rather the 2 blade over the others as its not painful to shave anymore

Pros:

Less irritation but just as close a shave, cartridge lasts me a couple weeks, less blades for easier navigation

Cons:

Cartridges a bit spendy, nothing else.

I've tried the triple blades, four blades, and yes, the FIVE BLADE! (I swear I'm not crazy!) Shaves were often -too- close, ingrowns and irritating bumps came later (I have sensitive skin). When I found a comparison claiming a double blade (this was the particular one) did just as good of a job as any of those fancier +bladed ones, I jumped for it. The cartridges are spendy, but still not as $$ as many of the others. I feel like they last longer. Plus, it's easier to shave grooves like under the jaw. The blades have springy plastic "shocks" that help minimize irritation while still shaving close.

Pros:

gentle to skin, much cheaper blades

Cons:

none

I used a m3 power for over a year, then I switched to this mostly because of the much cheaper blade price. It ended up cutting just as close if not closer, and, best of all, it is much less irritating. After switching to this I am no longer afraid to shave because of irritation and razor burn.

Pros:

Minimal skin irritation
Shaves smoothly around the chin lines

Cons:

Pricy blades
Doesn't shave as close as the ones with 3/4 blades, but that's why it helps to reduce irritation right.

This rasor combined with a good shaving gel/cream and a rinse with cold water afterwards is about the softest shave you can get.

Pros:

-Flexible razor
-Pieces of hair didn't stay on razor after washing
-Cheaper than 3-5 blade razors

Cons:

-Shave was far from close enough
-Handle of razor is hard to find at stores (was lucky to find it at my CVS store)

Once again the bottom line is the shave was not close enough. This razor might do the job for people like Dan but for guys who are more hairy like me a 4 or 5 blade razor would be better. I tended to get many cuts b/c I was tempted to shave at the same spot a second time (because for the third time the shave was not close enough). I respect Dan and I'm very grateful for this site his regimen really helps. But I have to disagree with this recommendation of 2 blade razors b/c it might not work for everyone. People like Dan take much longer to grow facial hair and perhaps get irritation from 3-5 blade razors because it's too much for them. Everyone has different skin so it's best to try possibly all 2-5 blades to see which one is best for you. If it doesn't work you can always return it right? As for me I been using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide and it's the best razor for me so far. Not irritating, I get a very close shave, & I don't get any cuts anymore.
