Pros:

cleans skin
gets rid of excess oil
cheap
great lather

Cons:

drying!!

I just wanted something simple to not overload my skin with chemicals. This was very good, but it definitely left a "squeaky clean" feeling. I am usually not picking about that stuff, but I know some people don't like that. However, you HAVE to use a moisturizer with this. No doubt. This IS soap, anyway, and will dry out your skin. I didn't realize how--average, I guess--this was until I switched to the Basis Vitamin Bar. That is excellent! It hydrates the skin and makes it so smooth :) I like this, but the vitamin bar is amazing.

Pros:

Cleanses well
Very Inexpensive
Lathers well

Cons:

Drys out skin

I bought the Basis bar when I began the Regimen. Several bars later (and quite a bit of time on the Regimen) My skin was still dry, flaking & cracking! I switched to Cetaphil and in one day fixed that. I have ridiculously sensitive skin. This bar is a great basic cleanser. I followed Dan's Regimen religiously and I did see significant changes in my complexion. However my face didn't begin to heal completely until I made the switch! If you're skin chaps easily I wouldn't suggest this bar - but if you aren't hyper sensitive like me ;) It could work well for you!

Pros:

Cleared up my acne for a very short time, seemed to help with oily skin.

Cons:

After using it for weeks, i've been getting more whiteheads and blackheads than ever.. my acne seems to burn. (Which never used to happen) Didn't seem to work after awhile.

It's a really cheap product, so it's worth a try .. but for me, it just seemed to make everything 10x worse.

Pros:

Very cheap, large amount for the price you pay, fragrance-free.

Cons:

Dried out my skin.

For a soap that says it's for sensitive skin, it dried out my face and made it feel tight, even after I applied moisturizer. The packaging also says it's non-comedogenic, but it contains lanolin and beeswax, two ingredients that I suspect, from using other products with these ingredients, causes me to break out. I'm going back to Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar.

Pros:

Cheap, easy to find.

Cons:

Irritates and dries out skin. Clogs pores.

If you have sensitive skin, DO NOT use this soap. I doesn't "soothe" skin at all, thats just marketing. It turns skin red and itchy. No difference between this "sensitive skin" soap and my old Wal Mart brand facewash.

Pros:

Cleans, but not as well as other soaps

Cons:

Dried out my face after 3 days; Actually hurt after 4 days to wash my face; Didn't do anything for acne since I had to skip treatment for a day to let it heal.

Not worth using.

Pros:

It cleans your skin as well as a high pressure hose would.

Cons:

It is too freakin drying.

I would not buy this soap again...I'll stick with Purpose.
