Pros:

Worked really great. My skin had never been this clear and I used it every other day.

Cons:

Caused chronic sinusitis and eventually severe allergic reactions to benzol peroxide and salacylic acid.

The product is great for most people but since I'll never be able to use it again, it wasn't worth the six months of my life it took away with doctors and treatments. Now I'll only trust a dermatologist rather than a faceless company that gives no warnings about the possible consequences for taking their product. I was only checking for dryness, redness, flaking not facial inflammation and pain!

Pros:

It works for the first few months.

Cons:

After your skin gets used to it, it stops working. Also makes your skin quite oily if used twice a day.

I usually switch between two different products. One is Proactiv and this formula. That way my skin doesn't get used to just one product.

Pros:

It helped clear up my acne

Cons:

i can only use it alone, and not with the system. I use different face products and this BP

Its great but don't get the entire system because the bp and harsh chemicals in all the products screw up your skin. Use gentle products or natural products in conjunction with the ProActive BP. Overall its a great BP By itself

Pros:

Very light,easy absorbed lotion. Doesn't irritate my skin.Easy to apply and helps reduce blemishes. I use it with the acne.org regime and my skin looks great!

Cons:

Smell is quite strong and also its expensive and the packaging isn't that great.

Good 2.5% BP product,although a little expensive for what it is.

Pros:

Easy to use. Cleared up my acne quite nicely. It took three months of dilligent use to get it all to go away, but it worked. And it is still working four months later. Seven months of improved and maintained skin!

Cons:

Increasing the amount you use is neccesary. I have to coat my face like crazy with the stuff. So needless to say I go through a lot of the bottles. Drying can happen if I'm not careful with returning the moisture back to my skin.

I would totally recommend the product if you are looking for a good benzoyl peroxide lotion. It works well with my skin.

Pros:

Cleared up about 50% of my acne!

Cons:

Totally discolored my skin!Dont no why it did this but I used the proactiv system for 3months and although it cleared up some of my acne it discolored my skin and my clothes and fabrics!If someone knows the reason for this discoloration please tel me

I wouldn't recommend this product! I didn't like the smell of any of there products especially the moisturizer! Ive tried differin, eryacne gel, and proactiv which all discolored my skin, now ive just started sedamed products along with taking zinc and doxy-50 tablets! Only been taking it for 3 days so can't comment about it, but if it doesn't work man im going to be super pissed!!!!

Cons:

Proactive repairing lotion contains ceteareth 20 which is a MAJOR comedogenic (it can clog your pores and actually cause break outs)

Don't buy Proactive. You can get 2.5% BP products otc for WAY cheaper...ie: Neutrogena on the spot acne treatment. You don't need all of the so-called steps the proactive tries to sell. Plain ol' BP in a base that is NON-COMEDOGENIC is just as effective

Pros:

cleared up my skin right away! my skin looks better and feels better!
I feel it is VERY affordable

Cons:

sometimes I feel a little bit of burning and it dried out my neck.

So many people have said that proactive is expensive but have you ever bought anything other that a face wash from a drug store? go to any salon or department store and just try to beat this price! I have spent much more money on many, many other product! This product works better and is cheaper!!!!!!
