Pros:

Great results for the first few days.

Cons:

After that my skin was super tight, itchy, burning, etc.

I've tried the entire Proactiv line twice and seen the same results both times. I thought my skin was pretty tough, but these products totally scorched it. I had amazing results for a few days, but then my skin was SO tight, dry and painful that I stopped using them. Plus, this stuff is super expensive for what you get. Try it if you want, just to satisfy your curiosity. It's not the miracle cure it claims to be, but hey maybe it'll work for you. You can find better products in the drug store that cost a lot less.

Pros:

Works for most people if no allergic reaction.

Cons:

I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Even in such a small dose. So I break out in red and itchy rashes wherever I use this treatment.

Make sure you're not allergic before you use this. Even at only a 2.5% dose. If you are allergic and you decide to try it anyway, just be careful. The redness and itchiness lasts for at least a day. I'm sure if I wasn't allergic, it would work great for me.

Pros:

It did clear up my skin at first.

Cons:

It dried up my face leaving it irritated and horribly flake-covered. Your face has to produce more oil to adjust.

I was a user of the proactive system for years and then one year it just quit working. My acne came back worse than it had ever been and proactive team kept switching me to different formulas but none worked. So it will show you results fast, but it will eventually stop working. It is also very expensive.

Pros:

Feels nice on your skin, nice container

Cons:

Made my skin way worse. It is so red and painful. Smells bad too.

Smelled bad, didn't work. Got my hopes up and wasted my time and money.

Pros:

Makes you feel like you are a step closer to clear skin because it seems to work for the people on the commercial.

Cons:

Unfortunately, I started with mild acne and it got worse.

Don't waste your money on this. It may or may not work for you and you can buy a product with the same active ingredient from your local drug store. It's a rip off. They offer the money-back guarantee, but how many people actually return the tubes when they are not satisfied? Whether you become a regular customer or not it doesn't matter. They only need you, and a million other people, to buy this once to produce a multi-million dollar revenue.

This product did not work for me. I used it for two months straight making sure that I used it exactly how I was instructed and it made things worse. I have just finished the second month and I have not seen any improvements at all

Pros:

Cleared up about 50% of my acne!

Cons:

Totally discolored my skin!Dont no why it did this but I used the proactiv system for 3months and although it cleared up some of my acne it discolored my skin and my clothes and fabrics! If someone knows the reason for this discoloration please tel me

I wouldn't recommend this product! I didn't like the smell of any of there products especially the moisturizer! Ive tried differin, eryacne gel, and proactiv which all discolored my skin, now ive just started sedamed products along with taking zinc and doxy-50 tablets! Only been taking it for 3 days so can't comment about it, but if it doesn't work man im going to be super pissed!!!!

Cons:

Proactive repairing lotion contains ceteareth 20 which is a MAJOR comedogenic (it can clog your pores and actually cause break outs)

Don't buy Proactive. You can get 2.5% BP products otc for WAY cheaper...ie: Neutrogena on the spot acne treatment. You don't need all of the so-called steps the proactive tries to sell. Plain ol' BP in a base that is NON-COMEDOGENIC is just as effective
