Pros:

It's simple to use. It reduces redness, and dries out the acne so that size of the pimples is visibly reduced.
It also smooths the skin, to make skin appear clearer and less irritated.

Cons:

It requires dedication..
Tends to be messy, and smelly.
Kinda pricey.

It's an effective system, but requires consistent and constant dedication. If you use it once, see results, and stop, you can't possibly expect long term results. If it's used systematically, day by day, it's a sure bet.

Pros:

It really seems to help my pores look smaller and my skin is alot softer and clearer

Cons:

it does stain clothes but not to big of a problem

i like the line so far have the hole kit plus make up and my skin is getting so much better i like what i see now

Pros:

This mask has 7% Sulfur, and Sulfur is known as (China Clay) It's a drying agent. It works really well as a spot treatment on breakouts to help make them less red,inflamed and drys them out!

Cons:

The price isn't that bad but Proactiv suggests having an Account with them so you'll get it cheaper. Its about 8$ for a 1 oz.

This stuff is great at treating those pimples that are red, big, imflamed and painful. I'd suggest putting it on at night and leaving it there as you sleep (as a spot treatment). By morning the pimple will be more calm and less noticeable. I've used this this mask as a spot treatment every night for about 2-3 years and it always gives me some results. No, the pimple won't be gone by morning but this helps alot in the healing process it drys it out so the pimple isn't there forever. And this is the only thing I can use on my skin as a spot treatment since I'm on Accutane and its doing crazy things to my skin/body. I'm almost totally clear, just about two more months of treatment. I no longer have blackheads and I don't breakout as much anymore. Good Luck to you all! I know how acne effects you because I've had it now for about 4 years and its made me super obsessive about it. My parents don't see how much it affects I wish i could talk to someone about it. I'm so off topic!

Pros:

one of the best acne products out there.

Cons:

it does dry out your skin so it would be wise to only put it directly on the pimple.doesnt smell great but your doing it at home so who cares

the proactiv line is alright.not great but you have to get this little thing.overnight and you will have clear skin.I LOOOVEE ITTT

Pros:

Works Quickly! I always recieve it for free with my 3-Step system. It last a very long time.

Cons:

The smell reminds me of diaper cream, but it's sulfer, so what can you expect. I can put up with the smell for the job it does!

It's a saving grace! It works overnight to rid of large pimples. Even when I "feel one coming", it's gone the very next morning.

Pros:

I bought the whole Proactiv line (Salicylic Acid type) and the Refining Mask. I immediately used it as a spot treatment b/c I had about three huge zits on my face that were so big, and out of control. I noticed improvement over night!

Cons:

It was kind of expensive but to me well worth it. When your face is less than what you desire I don't think that you can quantify what you would be willing to do to fix it.

I would hightly recommend this product. I do not have severe acne, however, with age I have continued to have break-outs and problems and this is the first time that I have had consistent results and look forward to waking up to my face in the morning

Pros:

Its okay. I still use it occasionally if i get a really red spot. It helps it reduce the redness.

Cons:

None i can think of only that it dosn't "zap" the zit overnight like they claim. Kinda expensive too.

I bought this to use as a spot treatment while i waited for my acne.org regimen kit to come in. It held off acne for the time, but now i hardly use it at all. I still have like a huge tube of it left which im guessing will expire before i use it up. Overall a decent product. The only proactiv product that does anything decent to help my acne.

Pros:

Easy packaging/delivery

Cons:

Did not work for me at all
Had the same acne/pimples as I would have WITHOUT using it, left my face feeling haggard
Expensive monthly cost with a long system making it very time consuming

It doesn't work for everyone. (by everyone, probably most people.) If you're in a rush in the morning, Proactiv is something you will not decide to do because it's 1) Time consuming 2) Fills up space 3) Leaves skin feeling haggard. But that's just me.

Pros:

The refining mask is the best part of Pro Activ! It always works for me.

I got acne when I turned 22 and it made me really upset of using it I saw an improvement. My family and friends noticed it right away. All the products are great and the refining mask is key!
