Pros:

It does work, feels ok on my skin, stays on during the night if i choose to wear it as a night mask, and it doesnt cost all that much

Cons:

It smells terrible, but thats expected. Its hard to get the smell off your wash towels, and out of the dryer itself.

IT WORKS, Ive used it for 3 years now along with the whole line of proactive products. USE IT AND STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SMELL!

Pros:

Works okay, does not dry out skin!

Cons:

Smells bad

I find that it works on some pimples. And if you watch the infomercial don't believe it. It does not take care of your pimples in one night -- well at least not for me. But I don't feel like I'm using some heavy duty antibiotics on my face, so its good that way.

Pros:

Helped very much to smooth and clear red bumps.

Cons:

Awful smell, leaves smell on hands and towels, dries skin. Came from a $20 Proactiv one month trial kit - paid for whole kit but now only use the mask.

The other products in the Proactiv line did nothing for me; if anything, they made my acne worse. I left my Proactiv kit alone for a long time until recently; I threw out everything else and have been using the refining mask as an overnight spot treatment. I had thick red bumps on my cheeks to which I applied the refining mask and left it overnight while I slept.I've been doing this for about a week and I have seen progress. The bumps are gradually smoothing out nicely (the smaller ones are gone, the nastiest one is gradually reducing), the blackheads/clogged pores around my nose and the corners of my mouth have cleared, and I am quite happy with the progress. I use it as a part of a mixed treatment regimen. Cleanse with cetaphil in the morning, exfoliate with baking soda, moisturize with cetaphil, cleanse in the evening, refining mask overnight.

Pros:

Worked very well to remove bad breakouts on oily skin

Cons:

It's expensive for the small amount you get. And even though my face is excessively oily, my skin was severely dried out the first few times; neutrogena spf 15 skin moisturizer fixed that though.

Try it. I first bought the 1 oz. over the phone for 5.95 (w/ shipping and handling it'll cost you a total of about $12). Worked pretty good for me. Skin feels soft and the redness of my breakouts is reduced.

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling soft and healthy. Reduces redness. Can use as an overnight mask or just as spot treatment. Will not dry skin.

Cons:

Doesnt do much for really irritated areas, like pimples that have been popped already. Not as strongly medicated as other brands (could be a good thing or bad thing)

I would purchase this product over the entire 3 step program because it has the healing effect of all three with half the effort and a fraction of the price. Dont use everyday or WILL dry the skin. Worth the money!

Pros:

Gets rid of oil; Face feels fresher.

Cons:

Causes more pimples if you use it on your whole face.

I don't really know about this product of theirs. It isn't something I use all the time. When I do, it just seems to give me more pimples where there wasn't any before. I guess sulfur is a no no for my skin. However it does make my face feel a lot fresher after I finish using it. Also gets rid of excess oil on my nose and forehead. (I'm saying not reccomended just cause the type my skin is doesn't like sulfur I guess)
