Pros:

Totally sooths and calms my skin. Leaves skin soft, smooth, matte, takes care of all excess oil. does wonders for redness too

Cons:

dries out my skin a little bit. make sure you moisturize. expensive too, and hard to find standalone from the rest of the proactiv kit.

I've only used this a couple days, so I'm crossing my fingers....But I think this could be what keeps me clear. Yesterday I could feel myself breaking out, my face got all hot and oily and red. I put this stuff on and WOW. not red, not oily. incredible. hopefully it keeps working. I'll update as i go along

Pros:

this is the only product in the entire Proactive line that actually WORKS!!! but it is WORTH IT!!! I LOVE THE REFINING MASK!!! MY SKIN IS GETTING SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!:D

Cons:

the price and...difficulty of finding it...you have to buy proactive AND the "special more expensive package"-_-!!!(i think)

GET IT!!! IT WORKS!!! DOESN'T DRY OUT THE SKIN!!! MY SKIN IS SO MUCH BETTER AFTER ONLY A FEW TIMES!!!:D:D:D

My friend gave me her bottle of this product because for her it made her skin redicously clear. I wanted to try it to , so for a 2 days, I put it on overnight as a spot treament on one of my largest pimples. ( I just wanted to try it to see if it worked ) For me, it didnt work at ALL. it just left my pimple a tad bit redder. Bottom line is, It will work for some, and stink for others.

Pros:

Works well. I saw results after the first use really.

Cons:

Dries out your skin if you don't moisturize right after washing it off.

Pros:

Lovely product. I was highly skeptical about proactiv but it works better than anything I've tried. The mask is excellent for slowing down break outs, and is great to help clear up your skin faster. It's also soothing, and doesn't seem too overdrying

Cons:

I'm very inspired by nature, and it has chemicals, but it works. The smell? I've read bad things about it, but I think it all smells clean and refreshing. =D Also the only thing about the mask is it takes an effort to get all of it off.

It works better than anything I've used. I started having acne problems around the early age of 10. I've tried accutane (NEVER EVER USE IT, IT'S HORRIBLE FOR YOUR BODY. I was on it for about two months, and I said this is horrible for me. NO WAAY), all different types of natural remedies, acnexus (was great for exfoliation and that is all) and more. I'm still taking antibiotics w/ it. Proactiv is simple, and it works. Once my skin is completely cleared I will SLOWLY wean my skin off of it. Just so I can use natural remedies that are good for the skin.

Pros:

It reduces redness of pimples and dries them up quite nicely.

It does work really well to reduce the redness of a pimple and dry it up. It's good as a spot treatment as well.

Pros:

Reduces redness slightly.
Slightly being a key word.
It smells good, though.

Cons:

When used overnight as a mask, I saw no results. When used for 10 minutes as directed on the bottle, the only results I saw were minimizing redness. Also, it dried out my skin and can be difficult to remove.

It doesn't get rid of acne/pimples/zits/whatever-you'd-like-to-call-them.

Pros:

great products that reduces redness and swelling. i actually like the way it smells, unlike most people out there who have also used this product. clears and cleans skin.

Cons:

the mask can actually stick onto your skin and can be difficult to remove if it is left on skin too long.

i use this mask nightly simply because i have time to do so and keeps my skin perfectly smooth. the price is acceptable because this mask is simply incredible. in order to remove mask correctly you must wash afterward and use the toner to remove the residue left behind.
