Pros:

great products that reduces redness and swelling. i actually like the way it smells, unlike most people out there who have also used this product. clears and cleans skin.

Cons:

the mask can actually stick onto your skin and can be difficult to remove if it is left on skin too long.

i use this mask nightly simply because i have time to do so and keeps my skin perfectly smooth. the price is acceptable because this mask is simply incredible. in order to remove mask correctly you must wash afterward and use the toner to remove the residue left behind.

Pros:

I bought the whole Proactiv line (Salicylic Acid type) and the Refining Mask. I immediately used it as a spot treatment b/c I had about three huge zits on my face that were so big, and out of control. I noticed improvement over night!

Cons:

It was kind of expensive but to me well worth it. When your face is less than what you desire I don't think that you can quantify what you would be willing to do to fix it.

I would hightly recommend this product. I do not have severe acne, however, with age I have continued to have break-outs and problems and this is the first time that I have had consistent results and look forward to waking up to my face in the morning

Pros:

i left it on for the entire night [and not just 15 minutes] and this morning the size and redness went down.

Cons:

i used this product a lot a while back. if you overuse it your skin gets immune to it

yeah you should use it for spot treatment. and where i live you can just by the mask [without all the other stuff] at the mall, but it wasnt like that when i got it and thats why the price was expensive use it a couple of times a month.

Pros:

Sort of worked when I first used it, dries up pimples, slightly reduced inflammation.
You can get a refund within 60 days

Cons:

After about two weeks there was no effect at all.
Really dried out skin
Burnt quite a bit (esp cleanser)

I didn't like it. It made my acne even worse than it ever was. Started getting breakouts everyday, got dry, itchy flaky skin, blackheads. Went to the doctor who told me that proavtiv was a piece of sh*t and he didnt know why people were buying it. Got antibiotic treatment which worked much better. Cleared up my acne within two weeks. BOTTOM LINE IT DIDNT WORK FOR ME.

Pros:

My face looks really bright and fresh. I didn't have acne really bad but alot of blemishes from previous breakouts and at least two pimples on my face at all times. But it has really made a big difference, I have nice skin!!

Cons:

It costs alot, and sometimes can be a chore to wash my face so much.

It's worth a try, and if you stay commited to doing the treatment, it will work.....worked for me.

Pros:

I had horrible break outs all over my face. I had baby soft skin upp until i was 21..I thought it'd never go away..so i finally tried pro activ..and i lov it..whoever says it doesn't work is WRONG and probably not using it like they shoud...

Cons:

the process takes a lil longer then normal washes....

Pros:

Doesn't dry out acne so much as it just reduces the size entirely. I suppose you could say it TREATS it. Great as a spot treatment and stays well overnight.

Cons:

Expensive, though I think it's kind of worth it since nothing has worked as well as this. Some might have a problem with the smell, I think it's fine. SMALL tube for the price. Once you start to run out, it's difficult to get out.

I had used the mask twice a week and left it on for about 15 minutes. I gave that up and started using it as a spot treatment instead and was pleasantly surprised. I was completely clear for about two weeks (aside from red spots left by previous acne which was starting to fade with the use of this mask) until I adopted a new puppy that has been licking my face and cuddling up against him (I can't help it, he's so soft). I have about three new zits but I wore the spot treatment last night and I'm wearing it as I type this, since it's Sunday and I have nowhere to be, and it's dramatically reduced the size. Easy to apply and dries quickly but does not dry in humid weather. Feels kind of sticky and uncomfortable. All in all, I love it and I'll continue to use it. Hopefully they'll start selling larger tubes at a better price. Then I'll be hooked for life.

Pros:

really helps get rid of pimples, whiteheads and blackheads faster

Cons:

I spot treat so my dad thinks i look kind of funny walking arounf the house at night with little white dot on my face. lol it can also be drying so use a moisturizer before applying it.

Works good as a spot treatment. Best product in the proactive line!

Pros:

In the FAQ on the Australian site it says 18.When do i use the refining mask?
Always start with a clean face before applying the mask. Follow with the Toner and Lotion. The mask can be used with or without the Proactiv® Solution system.

Cons:

i've been using it after my 3 steps so it felt dry..now i know what order i'll try it again...

not sure coz i've been using it wrong..but my spot treatments have been OK, only thing is evryone who sees you when you wake up says What's that on your face?lol!
