Pros:

If you leave it on as a spot treatment, IT WILL TOTALLY BANISH THE PIMPLE THE NEXT DAY!!

Cons:

..none so far!

the perfect over night spot treatment

Pros:

- Worked for the first few months I started using it

Cons:

- after awhile it made my acne worse!

When I first started using this I would just dab it on the pimple... go to bed and wake up and it would be gone. HOWEVER after awhile I would put the mask on the pimple and I would wake up and the pimple would be formed O_O. I'm not sure if this happened for anyone else but based on this I would not use this for long term acne. It's great for spot treatment for people with LIGHT ACNE though.

Pros:

It WORKS!!!!

Cons:

Having to buy the rest of the Proactiv system

This is a great product, but the rest of the proactive system dried my skin out so bad that I had to put Carmex on certain spots. I would love for Proactive to start selling the Refining Mask alone and not charging so much for it. I hate to pay the price for it, but it is such a great product that I am looking to buy it online as I write this. It is hard to find a product that works in the acne market. Proactive and all the celebrity's that have endorsed it have ruined their names in my book. My advice to them is to sell what works and drop the rest, or redesign the rest of the system. I am tired of paying for products that don't work and I think it's time for companies and their spokesmen to start being accountable for their claims. Yea! Proctive for the Refining Mask, Boo! for everything else.

Pros:

Great at getting rid of blemishes.

Cons:

Price but if you only use it as a spot treatment it will last you forever.

I do not use this product as mask. Instead, I use it as a spot treatment for pimples. For that it is great! The blemishes dry out and disappear a lot quicker. Because I use it as a spot treatment, the smell is not overwhelming at all.

Pros:

The only of the Proactiv products which I found to have worked well - not overly drying like those containing benzol peroxide. Having sensitive skin, this product did not irritate and actually did improve the look and feel of my face (mild acne).

Cons:

Price. Like most Proactiv products, this too is overpriced I feel. As well, the Proactiv ordering system is terrible.

First off, let me tell you that I have tried a wide variety of medication and treatments for my acne. With a very sensitive face, I have not had much luck with the Proactiv 3 Step -- I found it to be overly drying, giving my face a burnt look. However, this product does work well with me. I have found it to dramatically improve the look of my face like none other. I do not plan on continuing with the use of the three step -- esp. those products which include benzol peroxide as my face had trouble with it. However, this product (other than price) is one in which I have been very pleased with.

Pros:

It's the only good Proactiv product! Your skin feels so nice after using it, and it really diminishes the size of cystic acne when used as a spot treatment

Cons:

Smelly...but it IS sulfur, and it's not that big of a deal!

The only item worth getting from the ProActiv line. It works really well. Make sure you only use a small amount when you use it as a mask- that's all you need, and it will last you a lot longer

Pros:

A good overnight spot treatment.

Cons:

It doesnt wash off that well. I like to be very gentle with my skin and it seems i have to really wash to get it off.

It's good to have, but I wouldnt recomend using it as a mask but its far to expensive and like I said, it can be somewhat rough on your skin. Its sulfur treatment, so if you know how your skin reacts to that you can base that way.

Pros:

It dries out pimples.

Cons:

It works, but still overpriced.

If they sold it at a more reasonable price and made it more readilly available...then I bet they would make more money. I don't know what their problem is.

Pros:

This product is very good.I have been using this for only a week, and I can see my skin clearing up.The redness is gone, and my pimples and zits are starting to fade.

Cons:

The smell of the mask can be approved, and the price of it is kind of high.

It helped me with my acne a lot. When your using this product, do not just leave it on for 10 minutes or so, just leave it on overnight, and you will see SOME results the next morning.

Pros:

love it! works great. i mean GREAT! best mask i've used. and i think it smells nice/clean.

Cons:

hard to find stand-alone (i first got it as a freebie when i ordered the proactiv 3-step system). alone, it's a bit pricey (i found it on e-bay in a 4-pack, though, which wasn't too bad).

use it. it works. period. it's worth it if you hate acne and the self-consciousness acne brings. i had *bad* acne on my neck & jaw line (of all places). huge, cyst-like pimples surrounded by tons of white heads. horrible. ugly. painful. the mask go such a long way in a) clearing up that junk and b) preventing it in the first place. i guess it can't work for every single person, but it certainly works for me. you've got to give it a try to see if it works for YOU.
