Pros:

-Easy packaging for travel/after gym
-Low dose of benzoyl peroxide (2.5%) doesn't dry/irritate face
-It works!

Cons:

-Hard to find in drug stores
-discontinued ! :(

I absolutely LOVE this product! It worked wonders on my skin. I used it once at night after cleansing to get rid of all left over makeup. It helped get rid of dirt, bacteria, makeup, and dead skin cells. This product was very gentle on my skin and never caused it to be irritated. I have used several other pads but have not found one that was as effective and that has benzoyl peroxide instead of salicylic acid. Hopefully this product will come back!

Pros:

Very effective! Quick results and they also exfoliate! Yaaay!

Cons:

There's too few in one box.

basically, they work very well. And very quickly. But you need to keep rebuying them fairly often. It's no big deal they. They only cost $5-6.

Pros:

clears up and prevents acne, big pad, individually rapped

Cons:

expensive for only 14 days worth, when you moisturize it clumps up and looks like you have flaky skin, can be drying for those with drier skin, smell can be strong

The thing is, it works just as well as dan's bp treatment, except the fact that it clumps when you moisturize or wear makeup. Also, gels/creams are better than pads because you can see where you are going and know how much meds you are putting on your face. i would say if you were going to use either or, use a 2.5 bp gel or cream :) The only con about using the gel/cream is that it takes several minutes to rub in.

Pros:

Very gentle form of Benzoyl Peroxide, will clear skin wonderfully if the main concern is a build up of bacteria.

Cons:

May lose effectiveness after long term usage, makes skin sensetive to sunlight.

I have had very mild to moderate acne since I was about 12 and came across Proactive when I was 16. That only worked for a few years before it started to actually hurt my skin. So I found these little pads with the same active ingredient, Benzoyl Peroxide, and they worked wonders! These pads don't dry out skin, gentle, work well after a gentle face wash, some may need a lotion afterwards.

Pros:

Convenience factor - it's very easy to use every day, even on vacation. 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide is very effective for me, but not irritating.

Cons:

Somewhat expensive. Lots of trash with all the wrappers - seems somewhat wasteful.

I followed the regimen exactly for a while, but I switched over to using these pads and still have clear skin (over 2 years now). The convenience factor has made it easy enough to stick to a daily routine, without exceptions - I believe I've skipped less than 3 nights in the last year. These pads are sometimes hard to find, but I have a couple local stores that always have them in stock.

Pros:

conveinent, leaves skin nice and and cool

Cons:

not as effective as a cream and a bit pricey. and i think it leaves a film on your skin, but it's pretty much invisible so w/e

every other week in PE i have to run a mile. after the mile my face is just dripping with sweat, so i use one of the pads to wipe my face. the smell takes time to get used to, but it leaves your skin nice and cool. i believe this wards off pimples that are just cropping up from the surface, but not too effective on pimples that have already shown themselves.

Pros:

Works pretty well, easy, covenient, not drying at all

Cons:

As one might expect, an easier alternative that is not as effective

I only use this product in the mornings when I am in a hurry and don't have time to do the regimin. I would not recommend it as an alternative, but everybody should have some on hand for when they're in a hurry, camping, on vacation, or simply don't feel like the full regimin. However, as this is less effective, slacking off from the regimin too much could have adverse results.
