My cheeks have always been red and irritated a lot. After using this, i noticed my cheeks have gotten softer and less red and irritated. It really helps exfoliate, but doesn't do much to prevent acne. Applying lotion along with using this also helps.

Pros:

Smells Yummy
Gentle
Cleans off all dirt and makeup
Prevents Breakouts

Cons:

Micro-beads get into hairline

I usually never break out, only around my period Id get one or two little pimples. I used to use this product a long time ago, and its great. after seeing it on this site again with the high ratings I think im going back to using it (:

Pros:

made skin very soft and smells really goods.

Cons:

doesn't really brightening the skin as the product is suppose to do.

buy it if u want soft skin. Not necessarily to brightening your skin.

Pros:

Gentle enough for daily use
Lasts for a while

Cons:

Didn't do much to even my skin tone

I was looking for a scrub that would help even out my skin tone, so I bought this. It was very gentle, and did make my skin feel softer, but it didn't do much to even out the blotchiness on my face.

Pros:

feels good on skin and smells good too!

Cons:

doesn't really brighten skin that much!!!...it takes while!

its great for a daily scrub but if you wanna brighten skin, i would recommend Neutrogena!

Pros:

The best scrub I've used! Every other scrub I've used in the past broke me out or didn't feel so good on my skin. This product makes my skin feels smooth, it smells good and evens out my skin complexion.

Cons:

Kind of pricey for $10 but worth it I guess :)

I will be going on accutane soon, and I hope to continue using this along side Ultra calming moisturizer from Aveeno to keep my skin healthy! Best scrub you will find. I just recently discovered Aveeno products and I LOVE IT!

Pros:

-deep cleans
-makes skin tone look more even
-if used gently, exfoliates well

Cons:

-dries out skin if you do not moisturize afterwards

First exfoliant i have used so far that does not irritate breakouts, but helps sooth them.

Pros:

-Ruined my skin
-Made it really dry and irritated
-Hadn't helped my breakouts

I would wash with Aveeno day and night and it just hadn't seem to be working or really helping my acne at all. This is one of the products on a long list that I have tried and have not worked. I now use this product called the Doctor's Program stuff- they have a whole line of products, I use their facial cleanser and acne gel for oily skin and I find that it REALLY works. It might take a while to work because acne, as we all know, takes about 2-3 weeks to pop up. I saw a major difference in my complexion and my pimples had literally vanished from my forehead and face. They became so less red as I kept using the Doctor's Program (which isn't on the list of reviews but should really be-it's not actually doctor prescribed though- its just the name). Of course I still do get acne but not as big, red or irritated as it would be if I don't use the facial cleanser, but that is because I play A LOT of sports. Overall, just don't use Aveeno, because the small beads rip your skin apart (and doesn't give your skin and deep pore scrub-it just makes it irritated)

Pros:

Cons:

>After I got off of the product because of the dryness I had to find another product to get my face moisturized again. But if you use a lotion when using it I supposed you would have better results!

It doesn't really brighten the skin but I does work great if your trying to get rid of or lessen the appearence of acne. It won't cure your acne but it will help, i would definitely recommend it. Try it i promise you'll see some kind of improvement :)

Caused a severe breakout, was drying to the skin

I was attracted to this product because it was supposed to keep my skin from becoming dull and advertised brightening effects. I have always had good skin, and I don't break out very often. I occasionally get one or two zits on my chin but that's it. As soon as I started using this product I flared up. Zits appeared within hours on my neck, chin, and even on my cheeks, where I NEVER EVER get zits. I have never had a reaction from a product before and I was shocked that this one caused such an adverse one because it's by Aveeno. I've used their body washes, lotions, and foaming cleanser before so I didn't think it would be any different. I'm taking it back to the store and sticking to what regime I was using before I tried this product.
