Pros:

- softens skin
- reduces acne and redness
- easily available

Cons:

- turns "liquidy" upon body contact
- may stick to your hair

I've been using the Greek-style yogurt mask (naturally set) for about 3 weeks; everyday. Here's the result : - I realised that my redness has been GREATLY reduced the next morning - by the second week, there's a marked improvement in the severity of my acne - it is smoothing - moisturizes the skin Application:- My formula - 1 tbsp of plain yogurt - 1 tbsp of honey 1) combine mixture, and apply to face 2) let it sit for 15 minutes 3) then wash it off * Note: For dry skin, use an extra tsp of honey. For oily skin add a few drops of fresh lemon juice. ( Not tested, but is mentioned in several websites ). Voila, you've got smooth glowing skin, the natural way!

Pros:

- Adds moisture to the skin
- Supple skin
- Soft skin

Cons:

- Most likely does not do much for an acne issue
- More of a cosmetic solvent
- If you have sensitive skin, it might burn or an allergic reaction may occur
- It is milk so having it dry on your face is not the greatest smell in the world but not bad

(Goes good with a sugar hand scrub to complete the 'spa' treatment-- sugar + a little extra virgin olive oil.) I only tried this once with some family and I guess I was not too impressed with the results. We used plain yogurt and applied it in light circles to the face and left it on until it dried. Some things to keep in mind: 1.) When the "mask" is dry, do not scrunch up your face. It might be hard if you think about it or someone cracks a funny joke so try and find a calm and soothing area to do this in. 2.) Depending on your region, the price could be an issue. Look for plain yogurt and, if possible, organic or something along those lines. It might be a little above the average price. It is all up to the user. 3.) I cannot speak from constant use but this seems more of a cosmetic remedy than an acne helper in the long run. The supple and soft skin can reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Overall, you can go and try it more than I did and see results for yourself.

Pros:

After rinsing, skin looks slightly lighter, feels tight, and there is a little reduction in pore size.

Cons:

Didn't do anything for my blackheads.
Very messy, yogurt drips everywhere!

I've been using the yogurt mask for two weeks now and my skin has become better and less susceptible to breakouts. I mixed creamy yogurt with honey, lemon, and oatmeal. It feels calming, especially because the yogurt is cold. However, the dripping problem is insane! The pyjamas I was wearing had polka dots of yogurt. But the results were really awesome, except that my blackheads are still present. I recommend doing this once a week, as a weekend facial. I will probably try adding some apple cider vinegar to the mask for acne-healing effects.

Pros:

The texture and smell is nice
MAKES SKIN SOFT
skin feels tight after rinsing off

Cons:

Makes skin turn red and itchy
Makes pimples itchy and worse
BREAKS OUT YOUR SKIN!!

I saw a lot of good reviews on this yogurt mask. so i decided to try it... I was impressed on the first 2 days i used yogurt mask only. I bought greek yogurt from supermarket and put it on as a mask. It felt tight and smooth on my face. I washed it off and my skin has never been so soft. It felt like it was a baby's.. But the skin around my lower chin and neck area started to itch real bad but i ignored it. I used the mask for 2 weeks. I thought the softness is good for the acne. My skin was so soft i didnt even need lotion. But THE BOTTOMLINE IS, IT DIDNT HELP MY ACNE> NOTHING AT ALL. IT MADE ACNE WORSE. For people who are not prone to acne, use it once a week or once a month for extreme softness. but if your face is acne prone, DO NOT USE THIS AS MASK OR WASH. .. or perhaps im just allergic to it.. no matter, it really aggravated my pimples anyway...
