Pros:

- Stops pimples from scarring or leaving a mark if youve popped one
- Good for lips

Cons:

- just a little greasy

I would use this again because I have a bad habit for scratching my face whilst I'm asleep and whoopty doo, I now not only have marks but scarring too. I am really happy that I can use Vaseling to help stop scarring while I'm wating for my Mauka Honey to arrive from Ebay (best healing honey EVER). IF YOU DONT WANT TO SCAR, USE VASELINE!!!

Pros:

nice smell
good lip balm

Cons:

little greasy

I love using this as a "plaster", if I have to pop a spot I put a little over it and it prevents it from becoming hard so there is less chance for me to pick again and again ^^

Works but be careful
I used this on my pimples that I popped that are now gone.i apply it after the inflammation goes down.i then apply it on my cheek which I had some acne overnight but the acne stayed and kinda grew.i stopped applying it then the acne started to go away.this is good to moisturize the pimple that was popped.BUT NEVER APPLY IT ON POPPED PIMPLES WAIT 1 TO 2 DAYS OR WHEN THESWELLING GOES DOWN..thx

Shrinked my zits over Night.
So ever since I started my vacation in a country with a lot of hot weather, my face got a lot more oilie. I started to break out on my forehead and a bit also on my nose. I then started to try this by testing on my nose one night and then on my zits the next day. It then thankfully shrinked all my zits over night! (I have combination skin btw)

Didn't work for me
Not sure what went wrong for me. Thought vaseline might work because of the good reviews here, but it didn't. I applied it every night for a week, then wash it off in the morning. Initially, I thought it was working by making my pimples come to head.. but after a few days I realised that I was just breaking out quite badly. Finally stopped it and bought something that I felt might calm my face down- aloe vera gel. Just 2 days after using the gel, I feel that it's slowly healing the damaged that vaseline caused.

I can tell where you went wrong in this process; you washed off the Vaseline. Vaseline regularly works to heal the skin by leaving it on. I have an acne prescription given to me by my dermatologist and I use it every night. One day, I got these horrific pimples and I tired popping them: BIG mistake. They bled, peeled, turned dark (though they weren't too big) and hurt with just me touching them. I put on my prescription one night and for the fist time put Vaseline over it: it worked! I'm not sure it you retested the process (and that you may know all this information by now) but I hope this feedback could give you a little more insight coming from another person who struggles with acne.

Good spot treatment
I use this specifically on pimples that have a whitehead since it somehow brings everything to the surface, & on popped pimples. I've tried using all over my face but I didn't like the feel of it. I don't believe this clogged my pores though.

For healing
I don't recommend this for acne treatment itself, but I LOVE it for healing my scabby acne lesions-especially the ones I've been too aggressive with.

So far, so good
I've adopted the "slug life" and have been nightly applying Vaseline on my face for a week. It has helped with my red marks and reducing inflammation. It has also made my skin significantly softer. It hasn't done anything for my darker spots.
