Clean & Clear : Persa-Gel 10, Maximum Strength

I used this in a few areas on my face. One or two big pimples, and then some smaller ones that were just starting to form. It completely dried out my whole face, and I was peeling for days after I used it. There was one big pimple that I had on my cheek, and after applying the persa gel, that pimple swelled to three times the size. It seemed like it was swelling and filling up with something. Then the next day, my skin completely peeled off in that area. It was red, raw skin and it burned and didn't heal for at least 3 weeks. It looked like I had a chemical burn there, it was horrible and took so long to heal. It still isn't completely gone and it's been almost a month. I would defnitely not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin.

i don't know if i'm using it wrong or it just stinks. I clean my face, dry it off, then apply a thin layer directly to my bumps(not white-heads, just red acne bumps). this didn't work, so i tried to put a thicker layer on, didn't work. i did this every night(kept on until morning) for a week or more and nothing happened at all. i didn't even feel like it was working. maybe its my skin type. my acne isn't bad, it only breaks out like once every two months on my forehead or chin.i'm not sure what the deal is. any advice??? it seems to work very well for most of the people on here, why not me??????

i have persa gel 5% and i have to say it works GREAT. i had been using proactiv repairing lotion(2.5%) for about 2 years. [i dont use the 3 steps just the lotion]. it worked okay but i just jusst scared to try a higher % or a diff. brand. just about a week ago i ran out of proactiv lotion and decided i was not going to buy it again because it was waaayyy to expensive and was ready for a change. i bought c&c persagel 5. after not having bp for a week since i ran out of proactiv my skin was getting bad and i ended up having a little 'picking spree' [horrible i know]. i thought i was going to have acne all over my face again for a couple week because of that. but i used pg5% that night and when i woke up nothing was imflamed or progressed into worse pimples since picking them. as a matter of fact it was as if my picking never happened and there were no reprocussions, my face was better than it was before my picking session and i was amazed. my skin is almost clear now! WOW

This is definitely a product worth trying. Start with using it just at night. If you have a breakout, use it during the day as well.

I wash my face with a 2% salicyclic(sp?) acid twice a day. At night i put on the persa gel. The sheets and bleached towels kinda suck but i rather have a clear face than anything. Small price to pay. I feel so much more confident. My skin isnt perfect but it looks normal. i love going out without makeup or not worrying if someones staring at my bumpy skin. Its given my skin an evenness. I also like that its affordable. Sometimes i forget to do the regiment and after a few days it begins to show, so i have to be very diligent about making sure i put it on before bed.

I dont apply it to my entire face, just where a pimple is. It works okay and gets rid of a white head in as little as 1-2 days, and cysts...usually 3-5 days to get rid of.

I have been to 2 dermatologists, and have been prescribed Duac, Retin-A, Differin, Doxycycline, exfoliators, etc, all for extended periods of time. Every time I was unsatisfied. For 2 years I have been struggling with acne, often embarrassed enough to stay in weekends when it got really bad. This stuff saved me.

this stuff is god in the form of acne medication. the benzoyl peroxide does not hurt skin for the most part. simply amazing.

i love this product it cleared up the acne on my check that never went away and after using this i never had any acne just one or 2 small ones THIS WORKS REALLY WELL.
