UNSCENTED?

Cons:

Oil/Greasy Smell
Oily and greasy texture
Makes skin shinny and greasy

UNSCENTED? This stuff makes me smell like I am covered in olive oil. Smells disgusting!!! Makes my face feel super greasy and uncomfortable. Would never put it on and go out in public. Stained all of my pilows. I hear you got to stick it out with this stuff, but I cant get myself to put it on for longer than an hour without wanting to scrub my face off.

Incredible Product

Pros:

Glowing, soft, clear skin
Doesn't make me break out
Fades scars and fine lines

Cons:

Bottle leaks easily if not kept completely upright

This product is absolutely incredible! I mix about 5 drops of the oil into my Cerave facial moisturizer in the morning and night... And then at night, I apply Dan's benzoyl peroxide over top. My acne has subsided, my scars are fading, the fine lines around my eyes have vanished, my skin is so so soft, and my face has a natural glow to it now. All in all, awesome product.

Pros:

-Moisturizes

Cons:

-Made me break out
-Greasy

I tried this with my moisturizer and it made me break out. I think I have a skin sensitivity to jojoba oil in general. I would test a small area of your skin first, before going all the way.

Pros:

Takes away dryness and peeling....smooths skin

Cons:

Bottle dispenser broken on delivery

Seriously I thank my lucky stars I tried this stuff. I had been on the regimen about 2 weeks and was considering stopping just because of the itchy dryness I was experiencing. The regimen was clearing me up but my skin was so dry, tight and itchy I couldn't stand it. I tried the AHA first and it helped but still had too much itching. I decided to order this and I cannot believe what a difference it made overnight. I add just 2-3 drops with 1 pump of moisturizer now after the treatment and all the dryness is gone. My skin feels smooth and hydrated all day. So happy I gave this a try before quitting on the regimen because I am getting clear. Not sure how it would work for oily skin but for anybody having dryness be a problem for you, give a few drops a try. Doesn't feel greasy either. Only problem I had was the bottle top was leaking in the packaging when it arrived and seems to be broken. I read a few other reviews about the same problem.

I'm writing this review based on the healing properties of jojoba oil on my neck eczema. I developed a small patch of eczema on my neck 5 years ago when I was 20. Cortisone creams and the Elidel cream (both prescribed to me by various dermatologists) helped control it, but they are not meant to be used on a long term basis. So I sought alternative creams that could help. I've tried almost everything on the market - L'Occitane shea butter, The Body Shop Vitamin E cream, Clinique, Hope's Eczema Relief Cream, Sebamed, Jurlique Calendula Cream, Avene Cold Cream ... imagine all the money that I've wasted over a patch of unsightly eczema! But then, I bought jojoba oil from this website with the intention of applying it to my face as a moisturiser. I extended its application to my neck, and at last, I have found a product that doesn't contain steroids but which controls my eczema! I can't say this will help all eczema sufferers, but it's worth giving it a try!

Pros:

Extremely gentle and deeply moisturizing without being too oily or thick feeling!

Cons:

Smells a bit nutty and does not absorb completely, so it cannot be kept on face during the day or overnight. Doesn't do anything for acne, but this is to be expected.

I love this product! I've had my bottle since June, and I just keep finding more uses for it! In the summer it's perfect for sunburned skin, and in the dry fall/winter weather I rub it into the callouses on my feet. The skin on my face is normally oily, but also very sensitive. In the winter, however, it becomes dry to the point of being painful, so lately I've been using the jojoba oil as a super-moisturizing treatment about 2X a week. I gently rub it all over my face, let it sit for an hour, and then wash it off with Dove soap. Afterward my skin looks toned, even and feels very soft. I am especially grateful for this product, as I cannot use the Acne.org moisturizer (it burns my face). Overall I am a very pleased customer! :)

The Best Oil to Combat Oil, and Make-Up!
This has honestly been the best oil for myself. I was convinced for the longest time that coconut oil is the holy grail of oil for cleaning and moisturizing. Turns out it really is not all that, ESPECIALLY for someone who has oily and porous skin. Coconut oil IS highly comedogenic, meaning that it CAN clog pores. Jojoba oil IS NOT comedogenic, meaning that it DOES NOT clog pores. I have found it to be an extremely helpful moisturizing agent in combination with the regimen moisturizer (especially during those dry and flaky weeks). Mostly though, it does a wonderful job of make-up removal before cleansing. I have never liked make-up removers or make-up cloths so always resorted to oils, and jojoba oil has significantly stood out for me. It is very gentle, thin, and super effective. I most definitely recommend the use of jojoba oil for both make-up cleansing and moisturizing.

It's amazing!
There's so much fuss about virgin coconut oil being a multi purpose regimen but jojoba oil is way better! I love how it does not clog my pores and keeps my skin moisturized without the greasy feel. Plus, I just find it very practical that a couple of drops can do so much.

clogged my pores

Pros:

great moisturizer for lips & eyelids
eye make up remover

Cons:

clogs pores

I tried it on my face by adding 3 drops to the moisturizer a few nights in a row - every time it would give me a lot more pimples than usually. However, I`ve tried it on my eyelids and lips for mousturizing as they super dry while on regimen - and it works wonders!

Pros:

none.
almond oil is cheaper and really works, plus can be find anywhere.

Cons:

it doesnt control flakiness.
leave you shiny(not in a good way.)
it makes all spf moisturizers to leave you a horrible white cast.

it just leave you shiny and white during the day when u mix it with spf moisturizer at nigh its ok but it really doesnt help to get rid of flakiness. I recommend to use almond oil, it makes my face to look glowy instead of shiny and it does moisturize sorry dany..
