Active Ingredients:
Desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol.

Three active dosing phases:
7 light yellow tablets
Active Ingredients:
0.100 mg desogestrel (13-ethyl-11-methylene-18,19-dinor-17α -pregn-4-en-20-yn-17-ol) and 0.025 mg ethinyl estradiol (19-nor-17α -pregna-1,3,5(10)-trien-20-yne-3, 17-diol).

7 orange tablets
Active Ingredients:
0.125 mg desogestrel and 0.025 mg ethinyl estradiol.

7 red tablets
Active Ingredients:
0.150 mg desogestrel and 0.025 mg ethinyl estradiol.

Inactive ingredients:
vitamin E, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid, lactose monohydrate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, talc, yellow ferric oxide (in light yellow and orange tablets), and red ferric oxide (in orange and red tablets). Cyclessa ® (desogestrel ethinyl estradiol tablets).

7 green tablets
Inactive Ingredients:
Lactose monohydrate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue No. 2 aluminum lake, yellow ferric oxide, and talc.

Pros:

not pregnant, regular periods

Cons:

horrible breakouts, bad cramps

I have had problems with acne in the past and was on Yaz birthcontrol for over a year, i loved it however i switched brands because i was looking for a less expensive brand. About 2 weeks or so after i started this brand i noticed my ance has become worse. Now almost 1 month and 2 weeks later, my acne is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I cant stand it and im almost positive its from my birth control! Has anyone else expirenced this

Pros:

My boobs got bigger, no acne, no cramping and plenty of sex drive. no babbies.

Cons:

my periods are very irregular. almost scary, irregular. I have a bit of weight gain and a bit moody.

It works, I just hate how irregular I am, makes me think I'm always preggers.

Pros:

shorter periods. defiantly not a momma. skin cleared up like a charm. boobs and butt got bigger

Cons:

im pissy as hell! i feel like crying and arguing with everybody within 2 weeks before i start my period. i get bad cravings and it makes me eat more.

my boyfriend loves my bigger boobs and butt, but hates my pissy mood swings. so i guess its okay.

Pros:

Well, I'm not pregnant and the pill is easy to swallow. Not a ton of moodiness either. Periods are VERY predictable. I have a feeling it increases my sex-drive.

Cons:

Massive breast tenderness for about half of the month, including lots of swelling (DD's already, I don't need breast swelling). Cramps can be painful. Periods last up to 5 days.

Its not perfect, but I won't switch.

Pros:

My boobs got bigger

Cons:

i didnt want to have sex as much and my brests hurt. it says its supposed to help acne but mine has gotten worse and i have been moody

it makes you moody, your boobs hurt, and you dont want to have sex as much

Pros:

I have been known to forgot to take a pill and it's reliable enough to know that taking it the next day I will still be fine. The pill is easy to swallow.

Cons:

MOODY CRABBY ANGRY woman... Basically the first week of pills I'm fine, but the last 3 weeks I'm a total mess and almost impossible to put up with. I need to switch soon!

It does it's job and if you don't have problmes with moodiness it's a good pill. I didn't notice a change in acne or have any breast side-effects.

Pros:

I am not pregnant...and I know when to expect my period avery month. Far less cramping during my period than I had before and my periods are about four days shorter then they were before.

Cons:

Well I didn't really think there were any cons until I read the other reviews and noe I am thinking that maybe some of the things that were normal are related to the pill. Sush as mood swings headaches, NO sex drive and not wanting to do anything.

I have definatly gained about twenty pounds every year that I have taken this pill. I would say that it is very effective however, in preventing pregnancy.

Pros:

my boobs look great, no baby, lost weight, easy to track period, and easy to take.

Cons:

I've been getting acne, nausea at night, i feel annoyed our anxious easily, and i get dull headaches that last for two days.

well at least i dont have a mini me runnen around yet.
