Diane-35 : Oral Contraceptive

I love the way it worked for me, wonderful. I think that it is utimately more useful for those who know that their break outs ARE hormaonal. Anti-biotics were hopeless for my skin and my break-outs were monthly, whether i got a period or not! But it's all good now...

Ive had terrible acne since i was a teenager, but when i started using diane, I didnt expect it to work as i gave up on ALL acne products. but within a couple of months my friends an co-workers were commenting on my skin and how clear it's become! but of course, i gained 10 kgs in a space of just 2 months!! my advice is to drink plenty of water as the pill retains about 80% of water in your body.it didnt make me depressed at all because Im generally a positive person. bottom line: it cleared my skin!!!!!

I went on thid pill 2 months now. although my acne is much much better (noting has worked before) but I've started seeing soem side effects. what concerns me most is my condition of my eyes , eventhough I've not been that very busy these days (reading/computers) but I have really uncomfortable eyes (red, itchy, blurry vision). Although my period is much lighter but I have vaginal bleeding for half of the month which is very frustrating. I've also got lots of fat on my bum and thighs. My doctor said I'll get my acne back once I get off this drug so really don't see any reason to continue Diane.

I was put on this pill, for no reason, all I wanted was to alleviate my acne. I never thought I was going to go through what I have for the last three years. I was on it when I was 20, stopped taking it at 23. I was a athletic, high achieving student. After I went in the pill, my moods, depression, and craving increased. I didn't concentrate well on anything. I became sensitive to light, sound and people. I locked myself in my room for hours. I didn't know this whole time that Diane-35 cause all this untill I went off it. I suddenly felt better mentally, but my moods and depression came and went. I gained so much, I lost all my musles and started having pain in weird areas like my calves, pelvic and feet. I feel swollen and even though I work out, i can't loose as much as I want. Now I'm doing, internal and external cleansing to make this pill's effects on my body disappear. I advice any girl to not take this pill. We are all different to its reactions. um.. well, i really really was upset about having such ridiculous acne.. and so i took this pill.. but now that i've read everybody's testimonials i'm feeling so unsure of this.. and i think i will get off of it as soon as possible.. i'm particularly scared of what i might face after getting off... i really don't like the feeling of being heavy .. i want to be slim again.. i think that perhaps if u really need to get rid of that acne this might be a good way to go but definitely get off of it asap..

I am on diane for almost 2 years.and have seen that i really get frequent mood swings which is really really bad sometimes.i will suggest someone to take this if skin is really bad with lots of hair and acnes for that it works ,better to go for lighter medicines then this.

I went on this after I found out Proactiv caused early aging, and had dehydrated my skin out to its ultimate potential. So far, I have been on it for 8 weeks and I love it. Diane 35, yes, it can cause blood clots. ** BUT SO CAN ANY OTHER BIRTH CONTROL PILL ** and if you are overweight or smoke it's going to make you more prone to getting a clot more than you were before. Obese people are already at high risk in the first place for getting a blood clot, even without the pill. So maybe, if you people lost some weight, you shouldn't have to be worried about it so much and blame your blood clots on the pill. PUT DOWN THE PIE!! Moving on: One thing I didn't like about this pill is the lack of energy that I have and it doesn't really help my cramping, which I thought it would. But it keeps my acne away 98% of the time, and that's the most important thing. No weight gain is a bigger bonus, probably because I actually watch what I eat :)

Third day on it I have noticed it really affects your moods and emtotions to a point of depression. Maybe it will only last a week or so I hope, my stomache has been upset since I have been taking it, and acne has got a little worse in the three days I have been on it. Will test it for a couple months see how it goes. The big plus is boobs have grown in 3 days....no joke they grew instantly, that's a bonus. I suggest if you suffer moods or depression already this might not be for you, It really can get you down.

Everything seemed fine while I was on it, except for low libido. My doctor switched me from it to another brand after around a year, saying it was no longer available. Since then I haven't been able to forget I was on it. Needless to say skin got worse, but a year and a half later and my hair has been falling out constantly. My hair was fine on Diane 35, I had extremely thick hair until then. But since coming off it the hair loss hasn't stopped. It's thinner than ever now and no other bcp is bringing it back. Just a warning to everyone considering using it. It's not worth it for this possible side effect alone.

i'm very hapy for what it did for my skin. I am planning to go off it though b/c i need a better libido!!! I'm a newlywed (lol) and ya, I feel bad for my man. I'm worried though as to what my skin might go back to....? Anyone know another pill that helps to clear up your skin? I would recommed it though, especially if your not worried about your libido!
