Diane-35 : Oral Contraceptive

well, i havnt been using diane 35 for that long...its been only two weeks so i hope everything works out better as the weeks go on. Ive been noticing more pimples! which is super frusterating and then being stressed out over them probably gives me more lol. i also broke out on my back when i didnt even have any pimples there? but i think its just my body reacting to the hormones and then itll even out after a couple more weeks of getting use to and then itll be fine, my acne wasnt bad in the first place..i just had these little bumps that would apear on my forhead and chin and ive had them for so long that i just want them to go away! i really hope in the next couple weeks it starts to go away:) thatd be cool!

I was on Diane 35 and the generic brand for over 7 years and decided to wean myself off it to see if I really did need to be on it. At the 3 month mark post Diane 35, some minor acne returned and now at the 7 month mark I'm having the worse acne of my life! I am now back on Diane 35 and hope it clears it up soon. I've never had so much acne before and they aren't the little pink ones, they are the big red ones that hurt to touch and eventually turn into big whiteheads. I have 18 of those big ones on my face and so many more scars from previous ones. It's not like I don't wash my face or I changed my diet, as everything has remained the same. Am I going to be forced to stay on Diane 35 the rest of my life in order to maintain clear skin? Obviously it's not recommened to stay on birth control after the age of 35 d/t DVT formation and the higher risk of caners that grow d/t excess estrogen, but I don't know what to do. I

I`m a 34 year old woman who had developed bad acne for about six months. Nothing helped me till I started taking Diane 35. My acne vanished within 15 days & I`m only left with pimple marks now.

Terrible terrible pills.

Don't start unless your skin is not responding to anything else. I would actually recommend Accutane over this as you don't have to live on it and it works marvelously. I've been on Diane for years and want to stop, but nothing else seems to work. My skin is great now but if I stop I know it won't be

its not a miracle pill, at least not for everyone. I have been so frustrated since taking this pill and i hope someone has gone through a similar experience. I need the re-assuarance that its all going to be ok in the end.

Diane worked for my acne. But once I stopped it came back 2x as bad. I'm going to the dr. tmr to get prescription for Diane again. I cannot stand my skin looking and feeling soo horrilbe (sandpaper texture). Don't want to go out. Wear more making now to cover the acne. It works wonder for your acne but once you stop its a nightmare. I'm just soo scarred that I have to depend on this. Just wish there's a natural way to cure it. (but I head you can't if it's hormal) =(.

I was originally on Yasmin, but due to the hyperpig I switched to Diane 35. After 1 month and 2 weeks I quit. I couldnt stand the mood swings. I was SO irritable. I know spotting is normal, but ALL the sides were terrible, especially the initial 5 pounds that I could not lose. I felt so squishy from the bloat, like I needed to be popped. Plus I felt almost prickly...hard to explain but you know the feeling when you dont shave your legs for several days? Thats how my whole body felt. This pill just wasnt right for me.

Yes it does work but my moods were so altered it affected my relationship. I would get so insecure and angry about the smallest insignificant thing. I would cry, get mad, angry, irritable, sad, depressed, insecure any time of the day for no apparent reason, and this was towards my partner. I was a mess, still am, but i'm trying to fight it, because i've put my partner through sooooo much with these stupid mood swings sometimes it's just not worth taking the pill.

I have never suffered from a day of depression in my whole life, and my life is better then it's ever been! For no reason at all the last two months I have been very depressed crying all the time I can't understand why then I relised it was the birth control, I'm 25 years old and I would take all the pimples in the world over the dression and mood swings this gives me. It could be differnet for others but I would diffenlty watch for any changes in your mood! Hope this helps.
