Pros:

The first 2 weeks i used this, it cleared completely. About 30 spots to nothing.
Has stopped me from getting cysts completetly

Cons:

Makes skin really greasy.
Acne is coming back worse than before - no cysts, but loads of red pimples.

Short term - brilliant Long term not so good. However very few antibiotics have had an effect on me - im on isotretonoin now. Im fed up of the war with acne

Pros:

-almost completely cleared skin
-didn't dry skin out
-pills are easy to take for me

Cons:

-must be very consistent
-must be patient

I used this in the beginning of 6 grade (I am starting 7 grade this year) and they almost completely cleared my skin. I was so happy and confident. But I was younger and a lot less knowledgeable about acne so i thought once my skin was clear I didn't need to take the pills anymore. BIG mistake. my skin went from very light acne to mild-moderate. I was just prescribed these pills again and i hope they will be as effective. But you must be very consistent and patient with these pills. But they are definitely worth it.

Pros:

After the first 3 weeks I started to see a vast improvement, heals spots, prevents cysts and reduces redness.

Cons:

As with any antibiotic for acne, it takes time to see the effect, beeee patient!

I take 4x250mg per day along with using Isotrexin Gel at night and a little BP duringn the day (as Isotrexin peel away like a face mask gradually) along with a basic moisturiser with a little Jojoba Oil. Seems to be working well so far :)

Pros:

Cleared skin well without drying it out.

Cons:

Caused an upset stomach and you can build up resistance to it.

I was given the tablets of this to take for an unrelated infection, but I noticed that within a few days, it started to clear my skin really well. You may have to face a few days with an upset tummy though and I'm not sure that it can be used as a long term method of spot prevention.

Pros:

Worked great! (The topical gel form) Clear skin, for the first time in years! I felt so good! I didn't hate mirrors anymore!

Cons:

Unfortunately, good things come to an end... I guess the bacteria eventually became impervious to Erythromycins wrath...

Well, I started taking it at around mid October, that is my when my skin began improving. By mid November of 2010 my face was completely cleared! Not a break out in site! So much that I started only applying it every once in a while when a single spot came out of nowhere (very tiny spot) but for the most part I was acne free for about 5 months until... until late March... they started appearing again... I smothered my entire face with the topical erythromycin gel hoping that my old friend would destroy them, but no, nothing but a little dryness... Bottom line is, enjoy the few months of clear skin, but know that it will eventually come to an end...

Pros:

These tablets really worked for me! i've been on them for about 3 months and can see a huge difference. the redness has dissapeared and there are not as many puss filled spots. It works very well with benoxyl peroxide cream.

Cons:

When i first took the medication i felt sick and was in bed for 3 days, however, i didn't stop the medication and eventually got used to it.

Basically, it was 100% effective and was FREE! (beacasue it was prescribed by the doctor) .... i definatly reccomend it.

Pros:

Acne will clear up!

Cons:

Peels if you move your face a lot when it sets.

Just use it 2 times a day and your acne will clear up! I use it after I shower in the morning then when I'm about to sleep. The only thing to worry about is not moving your face around to much or it will peel off. So no more funny YouTube videos for you!
