Have used it for years, possibly causing more acne this whole time

Pros:

Very light
No added perfumes or dyes

Cons:

A little pricey for a tiny bottle
Contains pore clogging ingredient
Leaves skin oily

I am in love with this moisturizer! I use a heavier Cetaphil lotion at night with jojoba oil, and it really slicks up my face. So during the day I needed something that was super light. I had previously tried Cetaphil's Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF, and it seriously burned my face so bad. I thought it was normal for your face to hurt after using moisturizer. Neutrogena's is so soothing, never makes my skin too shiny, and just glides on my face very well. Wish it wasn't so expensive, but it's a pretty typical price for a moisturizer. UPDATE 08/16/15 My review above was written several years ago. I am still battling acne. This past week I was about to pick up another bottle of this when I decided to check out the ingredients list. One of the ingredients is Isopropyl isostearate, which is listed on acne.org's "Comeodogenic (pore clogging) ingredients" list. It is the very first ingredient on the list!! I quit using it this week and switched to CeraVe moisturizing lotion and WOW. What a difference! When I use this moisturizer, I often wake up with my face very, very oily. I thought this was normal. Well, since switching my skin is not so oily anymore. I have gotten back on the acne.org regimen the past 2 months and have made big improvements, but abandoning this moisturizer has set me over the edge and am seeing even more improvement! So glad I quit using this after so many years!!

Pros:

Average Moisturising
Do not feel it on the skin

Cons:

Redness
Clogged Pores (Small Bumps all over cheeks and forehead)

I started off with moderate acne when I was about 15. Now I am 20 it is very light. I only get a couple of whiteheads on my chin. No acne on my cheeks or forehead. Just a bit of redness. I started using this product last week. First I used it after using "Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Foam Scrub". The mositurizer did not cause much redness or bumps this day. However, when I started using this product with my usual "Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser" my right cheek started going extremely red and small bumps appeared all over. This happened on my forehead too. I am ditching this product and I will return to using "L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Sensitive" which felt very refreshing and did not cause much breakouts or redness. I might also try the Combination SKin Moisturizer by Neutrogena.

Pros:

. Adequate sun protection

Cons:

. Burns
. Redness
. Greasy feel
. Leaves a sheen

This is not a product for sensitive skin, particularly not skin undergoing acne treatment. Rather than healing and moisturizing, this product sometimes hurt so badly that I had to rinse it off.

Pros:

- Oil Free
- Doesn't cause redness

Cons:

- Leaves a greasy film that stays all day.

I was disappointed with this moisturizer, it doesn't seem to sink into the skin. It leaves a film on your skin that stays through out the day. It didn't worsen my acne, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially to those with oily skin.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Made my face feel and look oily
Made me break out on my cheeks
$10 is expensive for 4 fl oz

I brought this product because I needed a light moisturizer for the summer. When I started using it, I didn't look at the ingredients so I didn't know it contained petrolatum, which is vaseline. Ever since I started using this, my cheeks have been breaking out like crazy. Since I have oily skin that is acne prone, I do NOT recommend this product to anyone who also has oily skin that is acne prone. It will only make you skin more oily and give you more acne.
